The major problem with the pitch to business people is that their think pads and lattitude have had mobile data connectivity as an option for years with outstanding battery life and no compromise in processing
Ever since I bought the iPad Pro 12.9 2018 with LTE I haven't used my thinkpad since! The only issue I had was cursor support when using remote server for windows app but they just updated that and it works great.
@@TheMrMobile Brings up the question of repairability, Samsung cut corners on this aspect in their whole product line. Sadly reviewers don't talk about it, even if there are good examples of thin repairable devices...
Rey Abelita not really, the day of the 6 pound think pad are long gone, the x1 carbon is less than 3 pounds and the t series models aren't much heavier, aside from the workstation P series, modern business class laptops are quite light

Tried this in store last week and was very impressed. It's so light and the screen is gorgeous, and the LTE and incredible battery life are huge draw cards. PWA apps work very well and for everyone other than creatives, this would do nicely.
Mr. Mobile. I danced to the tune when the video started. I got excited when you started talking. I get goosebumps when your throw your punchlines in the script. I staw in Awe when your phenomenal writing prowess and oratory skills describes the mundane things with that grandeur. The way you deliver yourself in these videos is nothing short of a perfect movie scene. May you get the recognition you deserve. And when you do we all will be clapping and cheering for you there. God speed my man.
Just picked one of these up last week, love it so far! I keep seeing everyone complaining about the lighting on the keyboard but it's plenty of light at night. Perfect laptop for the everyday user
'Everyone "dogged" me for using chrome during my (some laptop) review, so I used edge, and it was actually pretty good.' Well no sh*t, the Edge version u r using is based off of Chromium. But honestly, it doesn't matter what web browser u r using for testing. Firefox, chrome, Edge, etc performance should be similar. Keep up the good reviews MrMobile!! Luv ur videos since Pocketnow.
Chrome does not have a version that natively supports ARM architecture, but instead runs in emulation. Firefox and Edge do provide ARM versions, which is why they should run much better.
I got this laptop recently and I love it ... battery life is excellent... it is very portable so I can take it anywhere ... I use web apps in lieu of full programs and haven’t had a problem ... thanks for the recommendation! ... I am a happy camper.
I did have the same issue with the re-login every time in the new Microsoft Edge. As soon I figured it out, you need to login first in the standard browser and then change it into an app after then. I don't know why the heck the system is like that, but hey, if you want to use it as is, you have to follow it. Thanks for bringing up the re-login issue on your review! And always, your review as best as usual.
The fact that this man doesn’t have a million subscribers yet is a huge injustice. Been following since the Pocketnow days and I love your content. Keep up the good work!
I fail to understand why this channel has such less subscribers. This should be at 5M at least. Quality of production, script, and Mr. Mobile's voice, all exemplary.

My mom had to get a laptop for work, and after searching around and getting a really good deal, I got the Lenovo Yoga C740 I can't wait for it to get here. Even if it's not mine, I can't wait to open the box.
If Qualcomm and Microsoft can’t fix the app compatability on its own store, this AC PC series will just be the “in the middle, on the go backup laptop.” The potential is there, but it needs some TLC for app smoothness.

Great Review, I loved all the details you shared including the web apps and real time battery life. Thanks I had already bought one before watching this review but it does help clarify what I actually have and what to expect from performance
Using windows 8.1 helps me a lot in getting more battery life but at a cost of loosing apps. And yes its faster than windows 10, boot time is 5sec and shutdown time is 7sec
In the olden days, *DELL XPS L502X* model had a simcard slot built-in, right inside the removable battery section. Have a look. I am not sure if it had always-on connectivity or not but the provision of SIM insertion was available about 10 years back.
Something I've stated before is Microsoft should really show web apps off and the process because it truly kills the idea that there are no apps for Windows.
Sorry if this was covered and I missed it. I know web apps are very slick and fast. But web apps like disney+ and Netflix wont let you download videos to be viewed offline. With the galaxy book are there traditional play store apps still? For downloading Netflix tv shows for long flights for instance? Thanks a bunch!
As someone who grabbed a Chromebook to replace my (decade old and poorly maintained) laptop, I can agree that PWAs are great. Maybe in the future we'll move away from OSes and such entirely and just have web-based computing for everything.
You should revisit the SURFACE PRO-X, now that you have a better understanding of how to use Web apps! You owe that to your viewers at least, especially after the somewhat unfair scrutiny, I don't totally blame you for. Microsoft should have been very straightforward. I'm sure they're aware the device works best with Web apps! Great review as always btw!
Hi sir please guide me .I want to purchase this machine for Z Bursh or blender software due to its weight lighter laptop. Please tell me it's compatible for these software?
I have the Galaxy Note 10 Plus but I kinda want this new tablet as well. Do you think it's worth it to get the tablet or would it be a waste since this phone pretty much does what a tablet does anyway??
Nice review. Thank you for your work. Not considering price, would you take the Samsung Book S (ARM)0 over HP Dragonfly G2 (10th Gen Intel)? Both laptops are almost exactly the same size and weight.
