With a lot of fundamentalist parents, I’ve noticed they tend to get angry with their children when they realize they have failed them by sheltering them to the extreme

I had the same thought. I actually LOVED the second dress on her. However, whatever makes her happy! She deserves this.
I feel like grandma was living vicariously through her. So wonderful she had such a good supportive figure in her life.

If you don't live in a suburban or ghetto area you don't know how garbage it really is. Florida is like the opposite the more south you get the better the state is and the more north the worse it gets.

I've only watched a few episodes of these, but it seemed pretty obvious that what she wanted to do was be with Daniel. It'll be easier for her to get used to the different culture if she has someone like that.
How old is she? Maybe this was part of her plan in terms of what she wants to do with her life.

@@pollyannaprinciple5860 I can see that can be concerning, but those are decisions she can make as an adult. It's not up to us to dictate what she should and shouldn't do. There's consequences to literally everything that we do (both good and bad), and learning how to live with them is part of being an adult.
@@janetslater129 She grew up in a culture that said a women's future is being a mother and housewife. Some of the other options were left out. If someone sat down with her and told her that she had the option of attending Junior college and she could get funding for tuition, books, housing and food, she can make an informed decision.

I can’t remember exactly what happened it was something of fire or boiling water thrown on his face and it messes his whole face up. That’s why he looks the way he does. And his parents wouldn’t get it fixed when it happened because they don’t believe in cosmetic surgery. But yes he could do it now.

I have enjoyed watching Maureen and Rosanna branch out and get their makeovers. I really appreciate all the respect they are shown from various English strangers. Maureen lights up with excitement every time she speaks about Daniel. It is such an endearing innocence and sweetness. Very happy for them.
