I appreciate that. In a lot of ways I wouldn’t have continued UA-cam if it weren’t for the community that has sprung up - and you’re an integral part of that. Really appreciate you, man! 🍻
If my Memory serves me right. I've been alone for 4 corky years of your adventures. And I must say it's been exciting. I myself have several bottles of mead if not wine put back. Some of them of my first meads. And several that weren't bottle after 18 months of bulk aging. That's been at less 8/10 months ago. So keep up with what you do the most and most of your viewers will enjoy the moments with you.
Meanwhile I'm 4 months into the hobby and can't express how much fun I've had (and how much I've learned) by bingeing (literally) your videos and joining the Discord fam. Thanks for everything - hope to keep on learning and doing the most.
Thank you for all the lessons you have taught us and for helping bring up the mead community. I wouldn’t be half the mead maker I am without you. Cheers to 4 years! What a fun montage!
Ive been following since 2020...the first week when alcohol selling was temporary ban for months in South Africa 🤣 Thank You for the great content ,my Fridays are not complete until I watch an episide of DTM :) Thank BC !
Congrats on the milestone! Great channel! I made a very basic blueberry mead and it fermented dry but taste sweet. It was trash for at least the first year. After 3 years it is soo good. It went from a bad fake blueberry cough syrup flavor to a true blueberry honey drink I could be proud of. I will be remaking it for sure
Congratulations on four years of great content! Please keep the videos going. It’s thanks to channels like yours that I keep challenging myself and crawled out of the box of what I’d been doing for years with only slight, careful variations because I didn’t want to risk ruining a batch. Your honesty, sense of humour, and genuine heart for home brewing and the mead making community deserve way more subscribers than you currently have. Thank you!
This is the channel that brought me from brewing trash meads in my closet for cheap to brewing 18 gallons at a time, building my own keezer, and making decent meads but no longer for cheap. So I thank you, but my bank account does not.
I don’t really look at the numbers much, but I like to look at my view count versus others in the brewtube community to see how I’m doing, not subscribers. There are some very “big” channels with subscribers that don’t even watch their content! 🍻
I cannot thank you enough for the copper wire trick to remove H2S. I was troubleshooting with kveiks and they all smelled atrocious bust tasted great. It saved all my future test batches until I found the trick: Fermaid O. A lot. Cheers
Wow I can’t believe it’s been 4 years already! I started watching you halfway through my first year of university and now as I’m in my final year, it’s crazy to think of when a time I wasn’t obsessed with homebrewing. Thanks for feeding my homebrewing craving and inspiring me to enter the industry. Ope! Sorry for the long comment😂
It does feel like I’ve known you about as long as the channel’s been active! Back in the day we did our fair share of tagging back-and-forth on Instagram, too. Glad to have had you along for this crazy adventure!
Grats on 4 years! My bilbemel (over 7 months & 21.5%ABV) is sitting on the counter with 2 wild grape pyments just waiting to be bottled. Just as you described with yours, mine pretty much tastes like a nice red wine with mild blueberry notes (at the finish). I used juice in primary and frozen berries in secondary, so what happened to the blueberry flavor? Seems like blueberry morphs or something, lol!
Over the years I have found blueberries to be very difficult to work with. It takes a lot of them and it takes a very gentle yeast. It’s one of those things that I am eager to get absolutely perfect someday! It’s just so expensive to do it right, haha
WOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!! 4 YEARS!!!!!!!! Thank you for everything you've shared with us! I wouldn't have continued brewing if it weren't for you

do you your job, algorithm.

@@DointheMost fair enough its the views that matter. im guessing that some larger channels used click farms in their beginings.

Kveik are definitely nutrient hogs! Probably worth a video on the topic. 😂 Cheers!

Good going’s! I have an apple mead that 3 years old.
Should be pretty well aged by now! How is it?

YOOOOOOO!!! Is this actually the same blueberry mead from the melomel video? That's sick!!
Yep! Still have three or four bottles tucked away in a box in the wine closet 😁
So It's Come to This: a Doin' the Most Clip Show (S4E18, 1993)
Was waiting for a clips show joke. And I’m glad it was from you! 😛
Just came to mind after listening to the intro. When the heck have you done a video on roast?
Even at 4 years. Could you add or modify the bottle to improve the mead? Or would that just be frosting on the cake?
Amazing shirt!
Thanks! 🌈
Amazing Nonsense 🤣🤣🤣
Huckleberry pie mead please Huckleberry wine or mead recipes I can't find I'm sure I'm not looking in the right place
4 years? That's prob gone bad, should throw that out.
Make a vinegar please
I’ve accidentally made one in the last year 😂
