I don’t really miss anything cause I didn’t have to give up on anything since I been living a very frugal lifestyle for the past 10 yrs! In nyc 🗽 🤠saving for a house 🫡

I eat pasta or rice for lunch or mashed potatoes. And for dinner a turkey sandwich. Groceries are too expensive for me to buy other things.
I'm glad I don't have a car, I do have a mortgage, and I would rather have a house than a car. I take public transportation to get to Point A to Point B. I live off food from Dollar Tree. I don't even go to bars or clubs, I drink at home while playing video games.
Things I’ve giving up: 70% of entertainment. Manicures and pedicures. Having hair done professionally. 50% of travel. This leaves money for my two cats food, cat liter, and their Nip. Vehicle and insurance. Mortgage, three utilities, reduced ability to buy groceries to about 25%. I still have my iTunes and use my parents streaming services. I also pay for WiFi. I work from home. Saves me gas. But now I’m having to return to a 9-5 for more money.
Pedicures manicures and salons are extras not a necessity
If you weren't born yesterday you would know the cost of gasoline isn't just going up and down! Back in 1986 the cost of a gallon of gas was 87 cents per gallon. Draw straight line from then till now the cost of gas has been a steady increase over the last 35 years.
