Yes, I have to agree, I keep coming back to your videos. I am newbie and still waiting on my supplies that I order but I am taking notes left and right, thank you for sharing 🙏🤩🥰
Ummmm you SNAPPED. This is beautiful
M E L 😊
I love watching your videos. You definitely have a gift for teaching, and I appreciate your willingness to share.
Marti Holloway aww, thank you!
Looks amazing . I started making tumblers and started mixing my glitter into my epoxy . It’s so much easier .
This is so beautiful! I am definitely going to try this technique! Thank you for the tutorial is was very clear and comprehensive! Not to mention beautiful cup!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!
This is so pretty and so simple! Thanks for sharing!
I gotta try that method. I used to make resin jewelry too for a shot while. I loved mixing the glitter in. Especially UV resin. TU for the tutorial ❤❤❤
Such a pretty green!!
That is so beautiful. Just about to do my first glitter cup so doing it this way. Thanks again for tut!
I just wanted to let you know that I love your creations and videos. I am getting discouraged but will hang in there. Your voice and the music are very relaxing for me so thank you for being my inspiration.
Janet Berquist It takes a lot of patience and practice. 😊 Good luck!
So talented keep doing what you do God gave you a gift God bless you 🙏❤️🎇🎆🎉🎊
Beautiful....i love your videos!!!! Thx for being my inspiration to do tumblers!!
Really beautiful tumbler.
Stunning!
This was on recommend, and in glad it was. You make the prettiest stuff!
Katie Lee Thanks!
This is how I recently started doing mine. It’s so much more quicker and easier than the sprinkling the glitter on the tumbler method. I’ve found it works a lot better for me.❤️❤️❤️
Awesome!!
I love this method! Thank you!
Very pretty
Nicely done
Beautiful!
Thank you. Defiantly going to try this method. 😃
Thank you for sharing this!!
I just started using glitter on my cups. And I don’t have OCD but it was freaking me out the mess that the glitter makes iamb going to try this method. Thank you so much for your video. Because I was wondering if this would work or not and obviously from your video it does
really great idea, i've always thought about trying this but figured it if worked them someone would have already done it! LOL
Super Pretty💖
Thanks!
Ok thank you
Hi! Thank you for so generously sharing all of your expertise. Should one NOT sand between layers if using chunky glitter?
Michele Gascoigne You want to make sure your glitter is covered well before sanding. If your glitter is not completely covered by the epoxy then you will risk sanding off the color on the glitter
Minderella Creations thank you so much for your reply. You have inspired me to try my hand at your craft..... you make it look a lot easier than it really is!
Do you think this method would work when using a manual turner?
I LOVE your videos you think you could do a tutorial where we can see your work space? I’m very curious 😊
Haha! I never thought to share my workspace with everyone. It is kind of a hot mess most of the time. And it's pretty small...I share an office with my husband. I also have a couple turners on my dining room table, which is basically my packing station haha!
Thanks for share! I love your videos! I've tried to make them before but the vinyl always get bubbles, how do you avoid that?
If you're getting bumps it's because your epoxy under the vinyl isn't smooth when you apply. If you're actually getting bubbles under your vinyl you just need to go slow, press center and work your way to the edges to make sure no air gets trapped under the vinyl.
Great video its extremely helpful! I do have a question I taped off my cup but notice I have some epoxy that has gotten onto the stainless steel where I didn't pull my tape all the way down is there a way to remove epoxy off the stainless steel once it has dried?
Kimber Rosenbalm It’s best to remove when it’s wet. But if you’re extremely careful you can use an exacto knife and cut it off. Be careful not to scratch the cup or break your seal.
Your videos are great. Nice particle graphics on the title! What's the source for the spinner and mounting parts? Thanks! Liked and subscribed.
I have the turner information linked in my Supplies tutorial on my channel if you're looking to buy a turner. :) If you're looking to make one I have a tutorial on how I did mine and most of my stuff was purchased from Lowes or Home Depot.
What epoxy do you use I’m new to your channel your work is amazing and the back ground music is fabulous
Kim Paynter I currently use FX Premium Poxy by Countertop Epoxy. If you check my supplies tutorial I have links in the description. Thank you!
Looks beautiful! I wondered if this technique would work and Now I know!! Do you think it cuts down on epoxy coats? Did you apply your vinyl after the first coat with glitter?
I Can Glam I had only one coat of the glitter/Epoxy mixture. It was completely smooth and I added decal and then another layer of epoxy.
I love the video. I want to add a waterslide decal in the middle and blown alcohol ink at the bottom to my cup. How would you tackle this? Would you apply the decal once epoxy cured then seal it with clear coat then epoxy again then alcohol ink then seal and epoxy?
I'm not sure if you want the decal on top or not, but that's how I'd decide which I was doing first. If I want the decal on top then I would do it last. You can do the blow alcohol on the epoxy and then seal it.
How many hours for dry the epoxy in turning machine
Thank you so much for the video & new technique! Did you epoxy over your business logo on the bottom?
A Hurst no. I only epoxy over the Glitter area.
Ok. Thank you!
Love that color!!! So I'm super new to glitter epoxy and tumblers. In fact a few weeks ago I said I would never do them!!! My biggest question is probably in parts: I see you tape the top of your tumblers, is that so their lips don't touch the epoxy? Not everyone covers the top a d bottom so I thought I would ask. Second part, is there anything that you can use to go all the way to the top that would be ok for lips to touch? I have watched probably 8 to ten of your videos so far and I am so impressed by your work!! Thank you for sharing your skills with us!
Sharonne Williams The epoxy is considered an inert plastic once cured and compliant for incidental contact. There are a few that are compliant with direct contact. I provide straws with all of my cups regardless but my standard coverage is taped off. I do full coverage as well. Some are cautious and won’t drink from it so I take precautions. Some drink straight from it. 👍🏻
Minderella Creations thank you so much! Keep up the great work!
Hi love your works!Want to know if an epoxy clear coat will work on an ordinary glitter? I am wanting to paint my cement floor with an epoxy clear coat and wanting to glitter it.please help
I haven’t tried that. As long as you use an epoxy that’s meant for floor covering and follow it’s instructions I don’t see why not. I’d use a smaller cut for it.
Beautiful! How did you add the decal?
Valerie Sinkler I added it after it cured and then sealed it with another coat of epoxy. It’s vinyl cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
Great job do you erver sell any of your diy's
I sell on my facebook page. I am currently on hold for taking orders, but will be opening back up in the next two weeks.
Very informative video, thank you. Curious about the second cup on your turner. It was green and then it turned blue seemingly. Was that just colored epoxy?
Three Gals and a Garden It’s a mood ring paint from solarcolordust.com 😊
Do you add that into your epoxy? I have looked at it but haven't tried that yet. I do have some of their pigments and love them.
Jennifer Barrett Yeah, if you watch it I go through how I added the glitter to my Epoxy. 😊
What type of glitter are you using? I feel like it much better quality than just craft glitter (which is what I have). Great video!
Yes, I do not use craft glitter. I use polyester or cosmetic glitters.
You are a Godsend! I watched both videos, sorry if I missed it, but where do you get that awesome rainbow glitter?
Susie Marin I have all my glitter suppliers linked in my supplies video. 😊
SHOOT, I meant the vinyl!!
You must think I'm an idiot, I meant vinyl. :(
Susie Marin lol! No worries. I got it from www.swingdesign.com 😊
have you tried doing an ombre with this technique. I wonder if it would work
I haven’t yet. I think it would be a bit tricky
Mindy do you think its easier to tape off the top and bottom of the cups or no tape. And did you have to do any sanding when you did the chunky gliiter cup?
Anne Lauchner The taping is just preference. It’s got pros and cons. If you tape you can handle the cup because there is space to touch it, if you do full coverage you can’t touch it but you don’t have to worry about pulling tape.
Anne Lauchner I didn’t have to sand. Mine was completely smooth.
What color glitters did you use...I love it
Linked in video description. 👍🏻
Hi! Your videos are soooo helpful. I have one question - do we need to add another layer of epoxy after the epoxy and glitter mix? or is the mixture enough?
If you aren't adding a decal and you're happy with the way it looks and it's smooth, you don't. If I wasn't adding a decal I wouldn't have.
Thanks so much@@MinderellaCreations ! I can't wait to see what my cup looks like in the morning =)
@@MinderellaCreations I decided I do want to put my friends name on this since it turned out so pretty. Should I sand it before I do the decal and the second layer of epoxy? Thanks again!!
What do you do if you don't have a rotisserie for the cups? How do you let them set?
Rheanna Romero hand turn them. I have videos of hand turners and a real time video of hand turning
I’m having a hard time finding just the right glitters. I might have missed it, but where do you get you glitters and/or what brand are they?
fww1014 I use a bunch of different suppliers. Check out my supplies video I have them linked in the description. 👍🏻
When taping off the cup, do you have any problems with water getting under the epoxy?
Renelle Burger After it’s cured? No I haven’t
How did you get your business started? And where do you sell? I do crafts similar to this and have been wanting to start selling!
Wolfyd1999 I started giving them as gifts. People wanted to buy. After months of being asked, I finally caved and started making them.
How do you get your edges so smooth after removing the tape. Is it just removing the tape after 1.5 hours the epoxy will smooth out?
Erica King I remove my tape after about 30-45 minutes. Too much longer and it’ll stick to your tape, pull up or be wonky. You can also quickly hit it with heat prior to removing or while removing if you’ve waited too long. Each epoxy is also a bit different in timing. So you’ll need to test that out.
Great question. I was wondering the same
I see you have a label on the bottom of your cup. What type of label? And do you put the label under the epoxy when you have glitter on the bottom?
Casie White I use Stickermule. I don’t cover in epoxy anymore in case there is someone who does want to remove it.
I found this video and tried this method but I’m having issues with lines in my glitter. Kind of like swirls and it dries that way ☹️ Any tips on how to avoid this?! Thank you so much for sharing this! Made my life so much easier! 😊
The tips I would give would be sure to base coat in a similar color and then add one layer of fine glitter. Then be sure not to add too much epoxy for the layer with chunky glitter in epoxy. 😊
Thank you!!! I was using stainless steel and I had a gunmetal glitter so I didn’t do a prep color but I think that was my problem. I should’ve at least sanded it I think. Just did a pink one and it turned out amazing!! Thank you so much!! Love your videos! 😊
@@stephaniew2979 Awesome!! Glad your next one went well!
Great video, but just so I'm clear, after you painted the cup you did epoxy it and let dry before applying the epoxy with the glitter mix? Just don't want to be clear on the process. Thank you for sharing. De'
honey562012 I applied my glitter mix directly to the painted cup.
After you painted the cup did you put a layer of epoxy? Then you did glitter epoxy? We’re you able to put the decal on the glitter epoxy layer or did you put on another layer? How many total layers of epoxy did you use?
I did not put a layer of epoxy on the paint. It was a green glossy paint. I put the glitter mixture directly on the paint. There are two layers of epoxy. The one with the glitter in it...then I added the decal directly onto the first epoxy coat with the glitter in it and then the layer over the decal. :)
Where is good place to get epoxy mixes? I just started doing mkup brush holders an I think this would work great. Also any suggestions for a turner?
I’m not sure about epoxy mixes, but the epoxy I use is counter Culture DIY Artist Resin. Here’s a link to my supplies tutorial where I have lots of information linked in the description. ua-cam.com/video/WksL6r6O098/v-deo.html

Hey I was just wondering if you could help me with something when I put vinyl decals on my cups then put epoxy some of the corners of the letters raise up and also I get spot that have epoxy when I put it on the rotisserie and then I come back and it has no epoxy why do you think that is
Samantha Longoria You need to make sure to clean your cup prior to adding decal. It needs to stick well. Be sure to press hard when you transfer. The epoxy will repel if anything is on the cup. So cleaning with acetone helps with fish eyes. Also be sure you are using enough. If it’s not enough it’ll self level and separate.
Oh ok I was cleaning with rubbing alcohol probably why it didn’t stick thank you so much!!!
What type of paint did you use for the cup? did you use spray paint or the chalk acrylic paint?
V Will rustoleum 2x spray paint
Minderella Creations thanks
What type of paint did you use for the base coat?
Jean Erzen Spray paint. Usually rust oleum 2X
Have you had any problem with the resin not curing properly with the amount of glitter in it? I know with tints that they recommend only 6% of the tint to resin but not sure what glitter does in changing the chemical structure of the resin?
Barbara Buchler I’ve seen no issues with glitter affecting the curing. I do earrings too which are highly concentrated with glitter and no issues.
Great thanks!
At what time do you take your tape off
It will depend on your epoxy as they all set up different. I do 30 minutes to an hour. Sometimes 20 if it sets faster.
Hi! Can I mix glitter with epoxy and apply on sublimation cups also?
I haven’t done a sublimation cup but I don’t see why you couldn’t.
Do you mind sharing where you purchased your bottles that have your epoxy in them? I bought fifo bottles but they leak so bad.
Anna Godfrey Amazon or Sam’s club. They’re condiment bottles. High grade plastic
Minderella Creations thank you. This tutorial is amazing. I tried your technique yesterday for a mermaid peek a boo and I absolutely love it!!
Anna Godfrey glad to hear it!!
Were do you get all of your glitter?
The one on this cup is linked in description. The many places I buy glitter are linked in my supplies tutorial. :)
Do you think this would work for the final coat of epoxy?
lavaleo19 I’ve added Extra Fine for sparkle in my final coat without issue
@@MinderellaCreations thank you for the quick response!
How long do you let your cup turn, then pull off the tape at the top?
czintx I let it spin 30-45 minutes and then pull tape. Depends on Epoxy.
Thank you
Can this be done on glass?
Beverlee Jones Yes, I have videos on wine glasses.
Can you make a wood Tumblr
Kristin Singleton I haven’t done one yet.
Do you prefer this method now? Do you recommend it for a finer sized glitter or just chunky/medium?
skinnyjeans102 I use all methods really. It depends on what I’m doing. I do like this method for a mixed glitter though.
How do you buy/order your work?
Amy Wasserman I have a Facebook page that I sell my tumblers.
Just came across the video I have a question after you lay your first layer of glittered epoxy do you need to sand the cup before adding the vinyl?
Doing it this way I did not need to sand. I put my decal directly onto this layer because it was already smooth and then epoxied once more over the decal.
Minderella Creations ok I will try that thank you for responding
Minderella Creations 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I have streaks on it why? What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried the epoxy add glitter fail no this one fail I’m ready to give up.
I didn’t paint the tumbler could that make a difference
Erica Vivas yes, that could be it. The tumbler being painted helps. 😊
4 questions:
1. How long does epoxy need to cure?
2. Do you recommend this method for beginners, or the other method where u shake the glitter over Mod Podge?
3. What kind of PPE do you wear when using epoxy?
4. How do you keep the fumes out of your home? (Asking because I have a new baby)
It needs to cure 8-12 hours, 72 hours to cure enough to ship. 30 days to fully cure.
This is a great method for beginners. Try a few different ways and find what works for you. Everyone is different.
I use gloves, an organic vapor respirator or mask and well ventilated area.
With a baby I would do a ventilation as you wouldn’t want to do it around the baby. Garage area you can vent or actual ventilation installed.
@@MinderellaCreations thank you ❤
Do you sand it down after you paint it?
I do not. I move straight to the glitter step.
Minderella Creations thank you I’m gonna try it now
Have you ever had success with doing a split cup or an ombre using this method?
I have not tried either of those this way. 😊
Have you ever use epoxy on acrylic cups?
Wendy Baron I’ve used it on a blender bottle. Seen others do acrylic.
Ok did u spray paint or just paint with acrylic paint this part confuses me
I spray painted this one.
Ok another question could u paint with acrylic paints??? I live in an apartment so its hard to spray paint for me
theresa bennett you can. It’s not as smooth. Dixie belle chalk paint is also an option. Check it out at southern belle glitters website.
Chalk paint that sounds do able i apprciate the tutorials u make an that u respond to questions keep up the great work an thank u
Very pretty
