Is it possible to mega like something? Every song I want to hit the like button , but I have already hit it for the song before. This music really makes me happy thank you Kevin Morby
00:48 - City Music 08:00 - Crybaby 12:08 - 1234 14:45 - Aboard My Train 18:36 - Destroyer 27:09 - I Have Been to the Mountain 30:25 - Parade 36:50 - Downtown's Lights 42:00 - Beautiful Strangers
Yeah, it's one of those songs that seems to possess its own internal power that rearranges everything around it. There's the sheer addictive beauty of its riffs, and the mystery in the way it seems to evoke a certain fondness for the forces of destruction and separation, or is it a fondness for recalling what they have destroyed? CS
so underrated but so good fame hasn't spoil it. some treasures like this one that are hard to find seem to be better just because they are not available for the mass consumption. Thank you for your offerings Kevin, your music is played far away in a Transylvanian land
I could hear this music playing out of a neighbor’s window back in the 70s on a hot summer night with the windows open. Before air conditioning for you younger people. I heard Stanley Clarke and Return to Forever, Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell and many others this way, Kevin’s music is that good! I hope to see this band live one day..
@@Jimbowlcoach He's back on tour soon. Hopefully you can go see him! Going to see him for the first time in the fall. Hope the band is as good as this one.
Great music. So many top influences heard yet in their own distinct sound and not plagiarisation...television, pixies, lou reed, and even early not so known songs of pink floyd...Superb. Feels like a mystery wagon riding through the desert scape of all big music of the past. Kevin's presence reminds me somehow of Jim Morrison. This band channels. If I know anything of music my hunch is they will become big in times to come. Did not hear anything so original within this sound spectrum in years...
thank you KEXP. I've been playing the same handful of your live performances on repeat for the past month or so, and it just isn't stopping anytime soon.
The Reverend Horton Heat’s performance, and All Them Witches were EPIC!!! It’s to bad they are in Seattle because I would totally hit shows with the lineups they put on
I saw them last week in Holland...I didnt know even who they are but what a concert!!..just perfect! , sometimes it sounds or have something that reminds me the Velvet (
Jason Isbell gave Kevin a birthday shoutout on Twitter and I keep seeing him on Phoebe Bridgers Spotify playlist and then I see KEXP so I guessed he must be quite good so I checked him out and was rewarded.
Was just on a concert last weekend an have to say that it sounded much crispier then in this footage. Definitely go check these guys out live if you have the opportunity. With back vocals it was amazing!
Still bops in 2024.

Kevin is like Bob Dylan's son and Kurt Vile's brother, yet uniquely his own... Such a great performance!
también tiene una influencia de Lou Reed !
@@loukdare2904 There is that Granduciel shoegaze deal and every now and then a pleasant whiff of the Allman Brothers. Extraordinary.
And Mark Knopfler is the uncle

Saw Kevin last night. Blew My Mind. Over and over again.
How powerful is Beautiful Strangers?! Wow. Great set guys.
And the way that song became the album "Oh My God"?
Nice sounds I dig it, thumbs up. West Fest bbrought me here.

Awesome Meg
So good!
Grands musiciens , sur le chemin vers ... ( ARCHIVE ) , merci
1234 reminds me a little of "people who died" by the Jim Carrol Band
Long life to KEXP, Cheryl Waters and Kevin Morby. Oh Lord, why was not I born in Seattle?
Excellent 👌
Wow thank you for sharing KEXP! Sound quality and overall production were perfect
Great set too. They both rip!
This is cleeeaaaan
Fantastic. I saw him at the Turf Club in Saint Paul earlier this year. I've never heard so much energy come off a stage before.
I saw them last week in Holland...I didnt know even who they are but what a concert!!..just perfect! , sometimes it sounds or have something that reminds me the Velvet (

this song reminds me of Television in the best way
Just saw him with Hamilton Leithauser. Hell of a show.
1234 - great Ramones/Jim Carroll reference/tribute!
Best thing since the doors!!! 👍🏻
Looks a little like Morrison and definetly has his style.
love this guy. the voice of Robert Foster. and the seriousness of Bonny Prince Billy. throw in a little lou reed for good measure.
Meg is amazing!!
Qué hermosa banda, los quiero mucho.
this voice!...yeah...
réminiscences dylaniènes somptueux folk is not dead
It's Morbin time
Leonard Cohen is proud of you !!!! (message from the beyond)
A true Artist... very poetic... very inspiring music... the girl let's you flow away with her soundtrack a bit of "Pink Floyd"
Love the Jaguar tone
Reminiscent of the Velvet Underground without the heroin .
She fuckin shreds
soulful music....
Çok 'SADE' bir tarzı var, ama 'ETKİLİ'.... duygu için müzik yapıyor ! Ben beğendim, 'düzgün ADAM'
Meg
Wish they would've turned up the bass on I Have Been to the Mountain, but this performance was super rad
This is f*kn outworldy!! WOW!
Loving that Jimi Hendrix Woodstock strap..
26:32
The new Valet Underground! I would love to see if Eno would come out of retirement to work with them
Opening track channels Television... no pun intended!
Every time I watch this I think: Imagine being this fukin cool
‘Aboard my train’ is the modern ‘In my life’ by the Beatles
It’s like Mark Knoppler meets Bob Dylan with a touch of Tom Petty. Absolutely amazing. Nice mellow Jam. I’m glad I got turned on to this guy
Such a different sound to the babies but still as great
Since when one the Hanson brothers plays with Kevin Morby?
uau
Who is sheeeee?
Meg Duffy aka Hand Habits! You've got to check her music!! handhabits.bandcamp.com/
Lou Reed resonates.

Meg. Badass bitch. Amongst the rest of you badasses. Wishing all of you the best and to see you all again. Stay safe. Much love.
what time is it on his coat and what does it mean?
Night time ..
lame they didn't name the band members in the description
This band would be tight to see with S.M. And the jicks
sounds similar to timber timbre
Kinda reminds me of Kurt Vile style
Some liked the Pixies :)
meg shredz
fuck what the fuck,
this destroyed me
I see bojack
A lot like a really serious Mac Demarco super tight performance!
How about a professional version of Mac Demarco-one with talent and doesn't have a cigarette and shitty beer in hand at all times.
NOPE!¬
weak
Wank - er
Very boring.
