I don't think Elara would choose either side she is probably as angry about Le Lune choosing Kit over her, as she is at her mother for abandoning her right in the moment she declared her attack I think she will choose her own side, unleashing her wrath against both the Bearyena and the creatures at main camp and probably die doing so
The Bonekeeper's Bearyena only has three days left. If Elara leaped up, she could kill it. Perhaps Elara could trick Le Lune into believing she's changed, and at the same time, Elara would unleash her anger upon the Bonekeeper. After all, what better way to get access to the little ones than to get her pathetic little 'sister' to trust her?
I personally don't see a place for Elara amongst the tribe, this notion of a "Happy Family" is such an alien concept to her I don't think Lune's words are quite sinking in Elara wound never trust La Lune, after her supposed betrayal, and I can't see her starting family with any of the tribemates - so that seems unlikely But I don't think she would just submit to her mother either? She was abandoned by the Bone Keeper in her hour of need, her baby sister was chosen to spearhead this war instead of her, Elara has no real reason to become a slave to her mother I think Elara will live up to her namesake, and unleash her Wrath upon the entire gathering, destroying the Red-Eyed Beast and ending her power on the island (If only for a short while) and then turning on Comet's Family and her traitorous sister _ who knows what'll happen next? I'm excited to find out!!
I think ... Deep down, Elara would be bitter towards both La Lune AND her mother, respectively. Lets remember Elara's early childhood and adulthood and how, despite how hard she worked for her mother, her contributions were never quite enough. Her mom would often yell at her despite her attempts to prove herself, and despite being older, more experienced and stronger than an infant La Lune, and despite her dedication, her mother chose her youngest daughter to lead the mission. Probably the biggest slap to her face. La Lune didn't even have to prove herself for Nikole to make her leader of her family and the mission and position Elara had worked her ENTIRE life for. And I'm sure that caused resentment in her not just towards Nikole but La Lune also. And that its all coming to a head, now. She may resent La Lune, but being the embodiment of wrath, I can't help but feel like, she'd also resent the fact that Nikole, expects so much from her, despite never giving anything back and 'betraying' her by giving her sister the position. She was barely even around for her childhood outside perhaps to train her, resulting in Elara spending much of it alone. And now, her mother abandons her yet again. Right when she declares her attack in her name. Giving La Lune, the TRAITOR the chance to push her in the water? And now Nikole expects MORE for her? When they could have just finished her AND kit off if her bearyena didn't run and her mother had more faith in her? When is she EVER going to be good enough? I imagine that Elara might be starting to realize.. She may never be. And that following her mother at this rate is going to get her killed. But I don't feel like she's fully ready yet to follow La Lune, either. If anything, I feel like she might be plotting against both of them to fulfill her own sense of justice and vengeance. Killing the bearyena to spite her mother, and then using the act of goodwill as a ruse to plot and kill La Lune when the time is right. At this point, I don't think she'd be interested in Nikole's hatred of the tribe. It isn't her problem anymore, although she WILL kill who gets in her way. She just wants La Lune, I think. However, with so many creatures around, it might be difficult for her to kill La Lune outright. So she'll play nice until she can find a better time to strike.
mom because she didn't listen to her sister, she ran off, she has mutliple times tried killing nichlings, (Succeeded once) And her sister pushed her in! So she ain't gonna want her!
I agree with another comment, Elara probably wouldn't choose either. I think she'd never trust Le Lune who she sees as a traitor but would also be filled with rage that her mother doesn't believe she's strong enough to launch the attack on her own. The way I see this happening is she either attacks both parties or, in a reckless last ditch effort to prove herself to her mother, pretends to take Le Lune's side only to attempt to pull Le Lune in the water with her. Maybe Kit saves Le Lune and the Killer Bearyena kills Elara for her disobedience, claiming her soul for the Bone Keeper's army and the ultimate battle
Maybe The Clown Koi By Elara On The 223th Day Was Possably Clownfish, Making sure that Kit, The one he died for, Would be ok before he truly passed on . . .??
