- If you're stressing out about Figma and have no idea what Figma skills to master first, then this video is for you. I'll review the 12 key things to master on Figma to stay ahead of the competition and become a better designer. By adopting the skills I cover in this video, you'll communicate better, think clearly, save time, and, most importantly, have a much more professional approach to creating and sharing Figma files with others.
In this video, I'll cover: Figma keyboard shortcuts, nudge amount settings, quick selecting nested objects, fine-tuning your Figma container selections, the importance of Figma auto layout, Figma frames vs. groups, the importance of snap to grid, and why to avoid decimals, keeping your prototypes simple (unless you're an interaction designer), using grids, rulers & measuring your distances, constraints & resizing, using components, and why it's essential to stay up to date.

Great advice! I'd say these are a must to know as a base level for figma designers. There is no excuse of not following all these.
Thank you!! Couldn't agree more 💯
Bringing in useful videos like always!
If possible, can you make like a quick playlist on UX Research? How to conduct interviews, conducting audits, heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis, etc
Thank you! And that's a great idea Sagnik. We'll def add that as part of our future list of videos! 😊

What is the proper margin spacing for mobile and web. Thanks
Usually, for the web, it’s better to have an increased margin, 24px, for instance. And on mobile, you can stick to half of it, 12px or 16px.
mouseless has been discontinued and now its archived on github. Does this mean it can still be used or are there some types of risks if I download it?
Great question, I noticed that as well. I wouldn't necessarily say there is any risk by using it, but it may not work properly.
Nice video, but it's nice not to assume all your viewers are macbook users, give shortcuts for other operating systems. Inclusiveness 😃
Absolutely! A lot of this channel’s users actually are PC users. However, the software that captures my keyboard shortcuts automatically bases it off of the keyboard and OS I am using, so that’s a bit difficult to control. Hence the tip mentioned in the video to learn keyboard shortcuts through the “question mark” icon on Figma (which is based on the OS you’re using).
oups
Title is missleading. Very basic advice. Doesn't make you 90% better than other Designer.
I’m sorry you feel that way!
