I've always liked the looks of the 1st generation coupes and drove a '77 GT Coupe back in the mid-80's. Those Dunlop wheels match up really nicely with this car. (Good call on the plans to restore the interior.)
Awesome video guys and really digging that Celica Gene, looking forward to seeing how it goes over time! Camera work is wicked too guys, getting better and better every time 😁👌
That makes me sad :( Still a few floating around in Australia because we don't get snow down here. But they are also becoming scarce here as time goes on..
@@BreakingCars Me too it is either salt the road in the winter or people die in car accidents. On a positive note they have come up with good rust proofing like Krown but it came to market too late to save my 77 Celica
Was a pleasure to be on the series! Cheers guys.
A pleasure having you on mate!
Hi Guys, I have the 1972 TA22 with 2TG and 1974 TA22 with 3TG.
Need parts, where did you source your parts from?
@@gussefian7399 Found most of my parts on the AUS 1st Gen celica Facebook group.
Awesome production guys, very slick car too!!
Thank you! we agree, the first generation Celica is very pretty.

We agree this car is a nice black interior away from being perfect and period correct.
Brilliant 🧡
Glad you're enjoying the series :)

Thank you mate! Once again thanks for the dapper thumbnail and the support on the way👍 Got to have the collab episode soon 😉
@@BreakingCars No problem at all! Definitely looking forward to a bit of a Sim vs IRL collab! 😉👍
These cars rusted into a pile of dust in Canada.

Hopefully you can find another before they become even more limited. Rust is definitely a car guy/girl's worst enemy.
