Thank you Göran for the good review of the lens, nice pictures and vid, looking forward to your next video. Take care and good luck for your next vid with the birds.
Those bird calls at the beginning of your video sound very much like red shouldered hawks. As usual, your images are outstanding, and your insight with your equipment is great.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and overall video settings, as I have almost never captured any video footage with both my Z9 it was good to see what settings you prefer, once again, very informative and of course very useful. Thank You.
Do you think it still makes sense to get a Z6ii today or better to seek something else like Canon R6ii, Canon R7, Sony A7iv etc? How poor is the autofocus on the Z6ii really?
Hi, if you already have Nikon gear I would wait for the Z6III. But if you don't have equipment, I believe in Sony mostly in the future depending on their financial situation. In response, the Z6II is not very good at autofocus. Good luck
Has anybody noticed that the Z8 and Z9 were more or less identical but since then Nikon has introduced 2 firmware updates for the Z9 not for the Z8. Is this a cheap way of creating some distance between the 2?
I've noted it but I assume it will be on the Z8 soon. In the beginning, the Z8 had airplanes which were not on the Z9. Then I think they prioritize the Z9 because it's the flagship but that it also comes on the Z8 soon.
Looks to me the development of the firmware is not cheap, expensive software engineers created the firmware, Nikon just give to its fanbase for free as a value added service.
Hi Göran, such fantastic images that you produce, both film and photos! After a number of years without a camera I now have one again. May I ask a technical question if it's ok and only if you want to share the answer. White balance… in the past with film cameras you didn't have to think about it :) So in post-processing with photos, do you (in daylight) always use the 5000K you mention, auto white balance from the camera or set it with the editing program? And are you using Nikon's or Adobe's (if you use Lightroom) profiles?
Hi Lars-Ove and thank you very much for your very kind comment, I really appreciate it. When I photograph, I always use manual mode with the camera (Z9) and autoiso and auto white balance. I pretty much only adjust the aperture but mostly the shutter speed. Post-processing takes place in Photoshop. Filming, if there are longer sequences and different lights that require the same white balance, I set the white balance to 5000, but most of the time I run auto on the white balance as there are short non-contiguous clips. I edit the white balance and other things in Premiere Pro. Hope that answers your questions, otherwise feel free to ask more. Thank you very much for your nice compliment. Efterbehandling sker i Photoshop.

Ok, that I did’nt know. Strange! Maybee for valuate the software.
You say that you are using High Quality (N-RAW) - does that matter when you are not filming in N-RAW?
You are absolutely right but I have it on high because I sometimes shoot N-raw 8K 60fps.

Tack för infon! Jag ser fram emot fler youtube-inlägg😀
I couldn’t watch this with that awful music. ☹️
I'm sorry you feel that way, but many people have asked what kind of beautiful music it is.
