+Daniyal Amed Istanbul, Paris, they're all European to them
+YellowFlareMC LOL I'm Canadian and that's funny
+YellowFlareMC If I were Canadian I would mistake Istanbul for Asian.
+Sevda Yskovich it is European and Asian. it Is the only city on two continents.

Wow I'm surprised they didn't put something American at #1 like they always do.
Total awesome building`s
amazing ! Thank you!
All are amazingly made, everywhere in this beautiful world we can find such grandeur, majestic and beautiful architecture....but yeah I strongly agree that the pyramid in Giza Egypt on the number 1 spot.....it's just a simple pyramid structure but it's so mysterious how those ancient people built it without any machine and high technology tools it's just made manually by hundreds or thousand men,...just wow.....so magnifique, grand and massive no doubt it's one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world and the only one still standing.🥰
This was spot on.
As an architecture student I really feel like the pantheon in rome is missing.
Excellent video!
I think the arch should be on this list because of the work they put into it and they had a contest with architects from around the world to put in ideas for a monument.
"Hagia Sophia" " Paris, France"
Nice Top... Super Like!!!
Hagia Sophia, Paris, France? Ummmm are we talking about the same Hagia Sophia?

+Bruno Quarato That's the one in london right? i wonder why no one knows it, it's a huge part of history and it's extructure itself is amazing, also the church in Vatican city was missed.
The title alone got me to like this video.
Haga Sofia is in Paris? Shit I must live in the wrong part of town.
I know right?
The Master Potatoe
Yeah.
+Hunter Falcis that gets attacked by something every other movie.
very surprised Ireland's Newgrange wasn't included considering it's older then the pyrimids and was designed so on 1 day a year (not sure the date) at mid day the sun shines down the passage way from a small square above the door that illuminates the entire chamber which I personally find amazing how they could do that around 5 thousand years
Pls do top 10 architecture styles
you put the statue of liberty and the parthenon is not even an honorable mention??!! i study architecture and we spend a hole semester analising acropolis and the agora.... just becase something is popular doesn't make it an architectural wonder....
Machu Pichu?
+Chino Wantan thats a whole city
+Vinícius Souza de Moura I was waiting Christ the Redimeer since the beginning, it's insane they didn't put it at least at the 10th spot!

Love the list, if I were to include another entry it would be Solomon.R.Guggenheim
what's the name of the music at the beginning of the video after the title?
Petra should have made an honorable mention.
no it should not have
+The Master Potatoe bruh...
+Napkinatorz Parthenon?
Big Ben is not the nickname of the tower, but the NAME of the CLOCK!
+stored100 Erm, not it's just the nick name of the Bell not the clock.
I've seen the Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, Sagrada Familia, the Great Wall, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, and Westminster Abbey in person. I saw Notre Dame from the Eiffel Tower, but didn't visit it since my stay in Paris was pretty short.
I thought Hagia Sophia was in Istanbul, not Paris. Typo?
They moved it to France it seems. Good job!
Teatro Colon in Argentina is awesome too.

Watchmojo, if u make a new video be sure to add the Banaue rice terraces from the Philippines. Thx
Big Ben is the name of the bell in the tower, not the tower itself
what about the parthenon?
Top 10 bricks next
No love for Angkor Wat? I'd even put it at number 1 or 2.
what about Easter Island heads? City of Tenoctichtlan? These are pretty daunting views
for real? Where is the Parthenon? It's only the symbol of every kind of civilization we still base our society on...
Big Ben is the Biggest bell inside the Elizabeth tower not the tower Itself
Has there been a WatchMojo Top 10 video that didn't include the word "iconic" in either the title or the V.O.?
You completely missed the peoples palace in Bucuresti Romania. It is the second largest building in the world and quite a sight to see. At least in honourable mentions.
and i'm missing quite many iconic pieces of architecture
Parthenon?
Top 10 buildings blown up by aliens in movies where aliens blow things up.
really no Parthenon? come on now we all know that it should be on that list like it's marbles and statues are all over the world in some of the greatest museums.
Maybe Top ten Mediterranean destinations? Including Islands and the opposite of islands(On Europe Asia and Africa)
what about the Kaba in Makah ?
I thought the Golden Gate Bridge would at least make the honorable mentions
No, it shouldn't
+Kevin Arredondo it´s just a bridge :/
+Tom Xrom Um, wtf?it0s NOT just a bridge don't be idiot.
Tom Xrom it's a gateway to American and San Francisco
Schloss Neuschwanstein? :o
germany is full of castles
+LimenKoo Is that so? Tell me more.
More castles in Germany: Castle Eltz, Castle Hochzollern, Wasserburg...
I think St. Peter's square or something about the Vatican should have at least been an honorable mention. Then again there's just too many things to count lol
Colosseo
i thought the parthenon was going to be in there but it didn't even make it to the honorable mentions
where is parthenon/ Greece?
no parthenon?
no
that sucks. when you say architecture, the first thing that comes to mind is the pathenon.
kugmo04 not really
well, in my opinion.:) its iconinc columns immediately comes to mind when saying architecture.
+kugmo04 The Parthenon itself was more of a statue if you asked me or Art & Architecture History experts. At least function-wise.
If you talk about the whole Acropolis it was indeed very influential.
Others have mentioned the Parthenon, so I'll put in a word for Angkor Wat, the 12th century temple complex in Cambodia.
No Château de Versailles in France? I visited there once, most beautiful thing I've ever seen, hands down.
Let's be honest, if it wasn't for ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt .. our buildings would look like shit. Lol
Yeah that's true
What about the Petra in Jordan?
The Burj Khalifa, Ruins of Mexico, Machu Pichu? There's definitely room for another list.
No skyscrapers
+MinotauroS87 true that. totally forgot
