A week isn't enough really but back again next year and then see what happens. Thinking about what Sinclair said , our lighthouses take a real battering lol. Yes i'm sticking with 4K now , great music from Sinclair i'm looking for some more when he's got time to send it. Going to start exploring Mull next. X

UIG - another of my favourite wee places, stayed at the campsite there last year and enjoyed a pint or two along at the bar with Mr Globetrotter, on the lightest day of the year (stayed light until midnight it was bizarre). Haven't been down to Neist point lighthouse, not sure if I'd be too happy camping there on the edge, all it would take is a land slide and you're off for a quick swim (tent included!!) but hey that is what wild camping is all about... living life on the edge. Great vid. thumbs up.

Thanks , back next year see abit more. We don't mind camping near cliff edges as long as you don't get to drunk lol.

Lovely views again Eddie.. seems the weather was kind to you's.. the death slide or hoist could have been handy for lowering you rucksack down.. lol.. the lighthouse looked rather rundown sadly.. think you chose the best pitch.. and nice to see the sun setting on the final clip.. TFS.. ATB.. R&D :) :)

Wonderful Eddie, you captured the beauty of Skye! Great to have nice weather, and enough wind to keep the midges at bay. That foghorn was huge! When I was a boy my family wild camped on the shore of Lake Michigan near a lighthouse and I remember the foghorn keeping us awake most of the night. Sunday afternoon a storm came though with 60mph wind gusts. It knocked down a section of garden fence and one of our 80 foot spruce trees is listing heavy to the east now. More severe weather in our forecast for tomorrow night. Some folks are still without power. I'll be thinking of this video the next time I pull a cork on a single malt from Skye. Take care, Ossie

      Thanks Ossie !
The weather was ok , the forecast was for a washout all week which didn't happen. Hope the power comes back on soon. Yeah i can only imagine the blast from that foghorn. I just back from a wee trip with Sinclair and Julie , video up next week , Julie's vid should be interesting lol , i say no more ATB !!

Good one Andy! I guess the Bastardo's shouldn't be tamed, only encouraged, so well done Julie!

Weather was alot better than the forecast , abit of rain but we done not bad. In these longer trips the first couple of days do seem long and then in a flash its the end of the week. Back next year. Down south on the 14th July a wee meet-up then a wildcamp i PM you details if your interested , hope we can get a couple of trips in before Feshie. ATB Eddie.

Like everywhere else on Skye , absolutely ruined with careless ignorant tourists , the place is like a shit tip , locals never go near the place , definitely a no- go area
