Overgrown & Unusable!? Customer Had Barely Seen Her Garden Path In Years....Until Now!

Hey everyone, I hope you're all well. Welcome to an experimental video release day. I've been toying with the idea of changing my weekly video release day from Sunday to Friday for a while now, and today is the day it's happening.
It seems that most of you don't seem to mind what day I release my video, so thank you all for your valuable feedback when it came to that.
This was a job I carried out a couple of days after my previous video, so still hadn't got myself some basic tools to keep on the van, to deal with majorly overgrown bushes and borders, so dealt with it by brute force, yanking and pulling.
This was a heck of a long day, and by far the toughest day of the year so far, but, i'm super pleased with the end results, and the customer was too. Her answer when I asked if she was pleased was "I'm not pleased, i'm DELIGHTED" so happy days, I can't ask for much better than that.

Hey - you do you and Ben does Ben. I see no competition between you two, and I've subscribed to both of you because of that difference. YT is a big place and has room for everyone. There's no need for you to pick up gardening skills and tools, you're a professional and have had years of experience at your job, which is evedent and exactly what I enjoy. I agree, you should have more subscribers. This was another job excellently done, so thank you for sharing! ❤

I thought it was an actual planned small border with flowering plants around the driveway next to the house and wall, but alas, all bricks and stone. But you’re turning into Ben before you know it, you just need a sponsor to give you proper garden tools. And your cleaning job is as always superb👌lifting the house up to a higher level 💪🏼👏🏻👏🏻

Enormous amount of clearing and cleaning. Lucky customer now has a sparkling area!
❤ I am still amazed how you do all this work alone and this was a big job! Think about hiring someone this is hard labor and our body can only do so much. Excellent work as always, love you video with the before and after commentary . I have learnt a lot about your business.

What a remarkable change you made in her property…didn’t even know there were so many walkways hidden under the overgrowth! It looks like a brand new home now thanks to your hard work. I didn't mean you mate!...............🤣 of course I did lol. It's strange, every time I clean someones windows(or attempt to 😄) I think of you, and what I think you look like in my head, chuckling away at me. It's all good banter. Would love to have you show me how to clean windows properly though, maybe one day aye 😀.

Is it Sunday already? Nope, it is definitely Saturday...surprise episode. Have to admit I was chanting 'save the daisies', this episode. 🌼🌼 This was a beautiful job, well done. And I know I am always saying this one or that one is my favorite, but this one, Nick, is by far one of my favorites. You need to call Ben and borrow his Kress tools for the cleanup, make it easy on yourself. Absolutely loved the 'umbrella waddle' you did while moving it off of the patio.☂🤣 That visual will have me smiling until next week. Thanks for sharing, have a great week. Maybe do an episode on cleaning your patio and driveway. 😉
Well, it is going to look different at the end. That is an important type of job, someone knows they are falling behind and asked for help and you are tackling more than you normally would, to make it happen. It will be good for the resident, you and the neighborhood will as well. Watching you work, this is actually a Restoration. You are re-finding the design, pulling the weeds, cleaning and treating the paving and render/stucco. The planting beds in back really did need some extra care, glad you used your famed bush-manuever to get under and to things. 32:25 shows a lot of renewed color, form and change already. Wonderful work done, the home is distinctly improved in the Before and After photos.
Wow they needed a gardener to come through before you got there. I couldn’t believe how fealty it was but you made it looks like new. 🎉🎉

Nick nice work as usual. You have become a gardener in this and the last video. You need some gardening tools as you said a strimmer would help at times but pulling out some weeds can be better. Glad your customer was pleased she should have been. 😀👍👍

Love the, "I'm not Ben from Flawless" as well! 🤣 However, I think he would be proud of your gardening. 😁You did a really nice job around the lavender, the red pavers really popped. You might want to work on those glutes if you keep doing jobs like this one. We can't have you hurting yourself, then there would be no videos, and we can't have that, we look forward to each and everyone. ☺ Great job overall, can't wait to see what kind of job you pick next. What a sense of humour you have - "The rain's back..." lol - did it ever leave...? Great job as usual, and providing a service that people really needed 6-12 months ago... some hypo and a softwash on those outdoor furniture covers would be a simple solution to kill off the mould and algae and whiten them up a lot... probably a bit big and heavy for a domestic washing machine, or even a laundromat... Funny you mention Ben from Flawless (roping those OAP's into his makeovers... lol), that was the video I watched before yours on a very cold, wet and windy Saturday morning in Adelaide, Australia... just you wearing shorts made me turn up my heater to keep warm... Glad to see you leave something for the bees and birds to play with once you're packed-up... In Australia, we call 'strimmers' (string trimmers) either 'brushcutters' or 'line trimmers'... the Americans call them 'weed whackers' as that is a brand name that has become a generic term for the tool, like 'Hoover' has become a generic term for vacuum cleaners...

You are just passing the plant in the back in 33:17 and the one in the front you can see e.g. at 16:12 in the top right, but you seemed to have removed it later. Tricky :)

Oh it looks soooo beautiful !!! You need gloves my guy - I was thinking you’d get stuck with a nasty thorn when you were pulling all the weeds! I’d sit outside and just enjoy how beautiful that driveway looked when I came home! Hope your weather improves. We are in the mid-90s today and the next week here in So California. Hi Nick, what a huge job! That was a really long day, that, I hope, ended in the pub. 🍺❤ It looks fantastic, I really liked the little red bricked alcove in the back. After you beat mother nature into submission that area with the lavender turned out so pretty. Just an fyi, every gardener come spring all say the same thing omg my butt is killing me, 😂😂😂 It’s been so bad sitting and standing on day two can be challenging, lol but we do it again every year.
Whipper snipper in Australia. And yes, seeing as you’ve turned half gardener one would be handy. Would certainly be better for your back. Awesome job once again but I think you did too much in one day. It was a massive task.

She needs to get a lawn guy in to trim up and clean up edges and overgrown bushes.
Edit: sorry to say this but the patio tiles have to be the ugliest tiles ever. My jaw dropped. I can’t imagine those tiles being in a store and a homeowner choosing them (on purpose?) without someone threatening them. At least they’re in back where no one can see them.
