As soon as I seen “they got scammed” it brought back flashbacks about our garden!!! Sounds like the guys we had in! Looks amazing 🤩 great work!! The Spider-Man impression 😂
The drain work is exactly like mine, what a shoddy work the builders have done in my garden, but I'm stuck with it now. You have completely transformed this one though, the owners will appreciate what you have done for sure. We'll done Mark and the team
Loved the finish on this patio and how you used the original edging. I had a patio layed about 3 years ago, with the drainage. It was v slap dash. He certainly didn’t spend the time and care you gave here. The furniture was a lovely touch! 👏
as a patio showroom manger this looks amazing well done a proper job I've seen so many bad jobs and the amount of people that come see me about bad jobs its unreal
Awwww my goodness. What a job!! Tina you rock chick!!. Would love to have heard the response from the client on new furniture if they didn't want to be seen on camera. Love this!
I so wish you weren't so far away😢 we've had a very similar problem to! Can't get good workmen & so madding that let you down. A great job & love the banter, good luck with your ventures.
This looks amazing! Please please help us! Our driveway is literally a health and safety hazard at the moment and we can barely get the pushchair out! 🙈We'd love a resin driveway😍
I absolutely love watching your videos they’re so satisfying even though I don’t have a clue what your doing ahahahaha. I’d love to be able to get our garden patio redone, my parents have always hated it and it’s just so expensive it really ruins the garden. Hopefully I can manage to get someone in at some point even though I’m full time uni student and traineeship I don’t earn money 😂 going to be a student loan job 😢
Now that how you make great content by keeping it simple and real coz that's what people want to see is people being real on camera i absolutely loved watching this mark and as always the end result looked Awesome 👌 great job 🤜🤛
You should see mine, Jeeze patios all over the shot and garden is an absolute bomb site and the driveway too, just know time and money to get it done, so doesn’t end up getting used at all
Thank you Aleksandra! Which of our garden tranformations is your favourite? P.S. we have a video coming out this weekend (Sunday) which I think you'll love!
Hi Mark On your invitation I’m hoping for advice??…… I have a small patio that slopes towards the house/conservatory. The centre of the garden is raised with a low wall…. Drainage is the problem…. It goes green and needs regular pressure washing especially at this time of year and through winter! Any professional advice greatly appreciated 😊 Emma 💃
Hi I really need help with my rear patio, its in a bad way. Would really appreciate some advice, help and even your services if its possible. Based in Greater Manchester. Great video really enjoyed it and love how well you all work together. Good job everyone.
This has happened to my Indian sandstone. I've had them repair it 3 times and its done it again. Mine has only been down a couple of years too. I would love you to sort my garden out.
We have just moved into a new build, and the garden is absolutely atrocious. The grass is waterlogged and bumpy, used different types of slab😢 and the fence is absolutely ugly 😢. How can I fix the grass getting waterlogged and bumpy?
I see what you mean, it's always a nightmare having grass like that! There's a few things you could do to try and sort the problem, maybe one of these might fix it: Make sure your drainage in/around the garden is good, so like you could punch holes in the grass with a pitchfork which might let the water run through. Might be that you need to install some sort of drainage/soakaways so the excess water can go somewhere. Could also be that the lawn isn't level so it's all collecting in specific lower areas. You could level the low spots with topsoil and sand, if everything's level that might help it. Other thing you could do which is a bit more technical is get the soil tested, if you find how the soil is composed that might tell you what's going wrong. Hope this helps!
So if you’re replacing a patio, you need to remove the previous concrete and you can keep the type 1 previous put down? Then lay new concrete on top of that?
Mine just done not happy at all after saving fir over a year problem is they look OK when wet but when dry because they never cleaned as they went along rather than dark anthersite they dry in looking light grey basically what will clean the cloudy cement and grout marks ???
I have a sandstone patio. It about 5 years old. I can pick most of the slabs up by hand. That have no cement on the back at all. The grout has gone in most places. Can this be sorted re using the old slab. It’s a nightmare. Please advise best way to sort this.
Superb work people!!!! A question for you pro’s please from an amateur DIY’er? …. when it comes to mixing a slurry primer, I’ve been using SBR mixed with cement as per instructions on the bottle but it goes off in less than 10 mins. I’m having to mix small amounts per slab at a time and keep washing the tools. What am I doing wrong? How do you keep yours workable for longer? Cheers. Chris.
Top job! How can I show you mine though? Mine is so much worse than this, my patio is like a rollercoaster 😩 we got scammed during covid and they never came back to sort it out, it’s actually dangerous!
@@MarkMarshall_LSH Technically it'll find a new home somewhere as hardcore, at least. But man. I've got too many customers in a similar situation. They never ask for their money back from the original cowboy.....
Worst garden you've ever seen 😂 we've been trying to get someone to do ours since July and have had deposits taken with them then disappearing, refusing to provide a quote because it's too big a job and being told it's impossible! We can't go outside 🙈
Crickie guy's, that's a shite patio. Whoever layed that ought to be bloody ashamed of themselves. Wouldn't even call them cowboys, just sodding ripoff merchants. Great to see you guy's putting it right. Had the same problem ourselves when we had a 15 square metre Indian sandstone patio layed 8 years ago by a friend of a friend. Looked great when finished, but less than a year it started to come up. Just used a few dabs of cement on each corner and that just crumbled in your hands, so wrong mix to start with. Gradually relaying the slabs myself. Have layed a few patios in my time, but due to work commitments, had to get someone in for this one. Big mistake.
Surely that's not the worse, my garden doesn't drain, half of the block paving has sunk, the grass never grows and constantly keeps drying, the slate boarders are a complete mess because of leaves. You ain't seen a bad garden till you have seen mine. Plus it's a new build and is only 3 years old 😂
@lawnstripesandhedges I wish I've just bought mot and sand but just watching UA-cam videos on how to lay it lol well if the rain ever stops in Manchester lol
not think you will find a garden is a piece of ground adjoining a house, in which grass, flowers, and shrubs may be grown. - which if you look properly you will see all
@MarkMarshall_LSH no. You will find a "garden" is a grassed area with lawn and real plants and shrubs. You're describing a plot of land next to a house.

So that the patio has adequate drainage and the patio has a fall on it to direct water to that drainage 👍
