Actually, Singapore doesn’t have 4 “national languages”; the 4 languages are actually “official languages”. THE national language of Singapore is Malay

Now here’s where things get complicated: the Chinese in Singapore speak a variety of different dialects which aren’t mutually intelligible. So the government pushed the “Speak Mandarin” campaign, encouraging the use of Mandarin Chinese in public settings like schools and offices so that Chinese people can actually understand each other. Meanwhile, instead of learning the majority’s language, Singaporeans speak English as an interracial medium language. Over time, people from the same race communicate in more English than their mother tongue. English has become our main communication and business language. However, Malay remains our national language and the language our national anthem is sung in.

I'm pretty sure the flag's Crescent stands for the Malay and Indonesian Muslims and the 5 stars stands for the Chinese people (as in the Chinese flag).

OMG!! PLEASE COME TO GUAM! I’M A BIG FAN! Trust me the military bases are kept far from the touristy areas. Also it will be VERY helpful to Guam’s economy because we are VERY dependent on tourism and it will be the best thing to improve Guam’s Economy. :)

It’s a bit wierd, or surprising, when the crescent moon and star/stars on a flag does not symbolize islam.

According to Lee Kuan Yew, the Chinese population wanted the five stars, which were modelled off the flag of the People's Republic of China, while the predominantly Muslim Malay population in Singapore wanted the crescent moon as a symbol of Islam, and eventually, both symbols were incorporated in the flag. Singapore remains the only non-Islamic nation to have a crescent moon in its national flag.
