After Majapahit has fallen, other kingdoms also used the red and white though. Then when the Dutch came, the nasionalists and kingdoms also used the red and white to fight the Dutch. Indonesia is so complicated. It's big country and has a lot of islands. So it's kinda hard to tell when did Indonesia actually was born. Officially the country "Indonesia" is in 1945 or even maybe in 1949. But the red and white are already used everywhere across the islands long before that.
@Klamzy There are two types of the red and white flag. One is called Umbul-Umbul Getah Getih Samudra, that's the stripe one. Now it is used for Indonesian Navy. The other one is Pataka Abang Putih, one red one white. That one is used as Indonesian flag now. Both are from Majapahit Era. The stripe one is the Pennant of the Majapahit Empire while the red-white is the Banner of the Majapahit Empire.
Oh one more. Meanwhile you can say Majapahit is Nusantara and Nusantara is also Malaysia, Singapore, etc. The relationship between them is different that the usual empire conquering the area. It's more of a bilateral relationship between the kingdoms in Malacca (now Malaysia) and Majapahit. Maritime ASEAN (ID, MY, SG, PH, BN) loves trading so much back in the old days. Then colonization happened, the trade become a mess, and everything in chaos. Cultural heritage got destroyed. Indonesia got it pretty light because Netherlands actually care about the country (the country not really the people) because they thought they would live there forever (some evidences are the buildings built in the Dutch colonization era, the structure is really strong). So a lot of old buildings, relics, and historical documents are still here in Indonesia and Netherlands. Explanation for 9:42: the prepositions in UK place names refer to the fact that these cities are near rivers. For example, Stoke-on-Trent is near the River Trent and my hometown, Kingston-upon-Hull, is near the River Hull (which coincidentally flows into the larger River Humber which is the source of the former name of the county Humberside). We just really like our prepositions haha
Just before the 10 minute mark you remarked why so many UK towns and cities have prepositions in their name. They’re the names of rivers normally. And the reason they do it is to either advertise that they are situated on a river for tourism, or to differentiate from another town with the same name. For example the Newcastle that we all know is Newcastle-upon-Tyne as it is on the Tyne river. There are 4-5 Newcastles across the UK, one of the others is Newcastle-under-Lyme. Staines recently changed their name to Staines-upon-Thames (same river as London) as it sounds nicer to visit that way. Just thought I’d add a little insight for you Geography nerds. :)
You know what i like about your songs tobu? the first 1 minute is very calm and relaxing and after the 1st minute comes this part that gives you courage and hope :) keep up the good work tobu!

If British places are named like that it's because they're usually by a river or major landmark, so Stoke on Trent is Stoke on the river Trent, Newcastle upon Tyne is Newcastle on the river Tyne & Newcastle under Lyme is Newcastle either by the Lyme brook or the Forrest of Lyme, I'm not sure which.

Back on the royalty theme: Wallis Simpson technically became 'The Princess Edward' (even though her husband's real first name was David... go figure) when she married for the third time, but the British royal court made sure she'd never be referred to as much. Just like you don't hear Meghan being called 'The Princess Henry' when she officially could be known by that name - but at least unlike American women who married into the House of Windsor 80 years ago, she does get an HRH :)
