He just described consulting as a job which is basically telling others what to do by analysing their resources and requirements...i.e telling the time to someone who has a watch but don't know how to read it Edit: It is just my take from it
Hi saurabh sir ,after listening to u. I have Q really MBA is necessary to make money or it's ok to go with job. Cause u have suffered with lot unwanted situations which don't expect after completing MBA .
There's no right answer to this question. In any case, you can do an MBA if you are looking for opportunities in companies that come on campus and for the role, compensation they offer. It'll also help you learn some important subjects like economics, finance, accounting, etc which are very useful in life in general. MBA is uncorrelated with making money.
So I am in the final year of computer science, I am good at programming, I am sure I will get a decent job through on-campus placements. But I consider myself more of a creative person, who loves to formulate strategies, distribute works among the team members, loves to look at the bigger picture and hates the nitty-gritty detailing. So what would be the best career choice for me? PS: I figured out these things about me through various club activities I have been part of during my college, say for example I am currently Student executive chair of Alumni Association over here.
i would say get on software engineering role, preferably in a startup. You have much leeway in terms of where you fit in and what's happening around you. You get to wear multiple hats and have a say in decision making. I got to mentoring and work distribution within 6 months of joining. Later on a product-manager role/ entrepreneurial role will be great fit for you. But first knowing the nuts and bolts of the industry is crucial. You can learn a lot by just being a software engineer for a few years.
Would you mind sharing what choices you made and how it turned out? This is coming from someone who is now in a similary position as you were back then.
@@vishalmishra7018 Hi Vishal, I am working as Software Engineer at Olx, I got this job through on-campus placements (as I told in the previous comment). Currently, I am understanding the various roles and realms of a company. Will see what life has planned for me in future :)

Hi there CA Mohit Khandelwal here. We're a group of young qualified enthusiast curious about what they teach at high rated B schools like IIMs, XLRI etc. as many great positions, start ups are held/started by their alumni. So we're planning on creating a CLOSED group (Telegram/Watsapp) consisting of CA & MBA's from top B schools as it's members, so we can share each other's knowledge or ideas. The core idea is to add MBAs from top B schools and ask them to give us a download/share/interact (from) their learnings. We can also discuss ideas & startups on weekends to take each other's thought on that. So to start with can you pls answer below two questions 1. Is the above idea interesting? 2. Will you be interested in joining such group? Cheers!!
