Was going through the comments and felt like putting this here. First of all, thank you from the core of my heart 🙏 It feels blessed to realise how relatable our problems are, we're all fighting one or the other battle in our lives.
I'd like to highlight (so that my journey doesn't end up misguiding anyone) that I had this UA-cam Channel as a cushion to fall back on before I quit my job. Most people don't have a back-up. If you are inspired to pursue your passion or try it out, I'd recommend to take baby steps towards it. Please don't put yourself in a situation of financial distress.
    Just this much 🤗

Just don't delete this video . Never ever Delete this. Alot of guys need this assurance that they are not alone in this. Every words of yours made sense. Proud of you!! I am in Sales by the way... And I find this challenging and cool, but not excited to do it, because of no creative approach. Every month on month you have to hit the target. And it sucks more if you have no friends in the town to celebrate weekend. Anyways, You're Rockin' !!..

I can feel and relate so much after watching this video. I've recently joined a S&P 500 company, felt like a dream come true for someone who hasn't acheived much in education. But after 4 months in this job I'm dreading each and every single day, waking up feeling terified going to work, losing sleep, peace, confidence, self esteem what not you name it. Feels like quitting each day but I don't know what else I'll do. Feeling trapped and miserable. Nobody is going to listen as nobody can understand this, it's different for everybody.

Thank you so much for sharing "not so perfect" part of your life. As aspirants see achievers to be perfect throughout their life which makes them suffer with inferiority complex but after seeing this video I hope their view will change. This video motivated me a lot as I too have had some mental issues in the past and while preparing for CAT 2022 they've started coming back because of this burden on my shoulders to prove my worth in the society. However after seeing this video my perspective did change. There's no need to prove anything to anyone. Your mental health should be your first priority. Life is not so perfect even after pursuing your dream degree from top notch b school (as it was in your case). Life can be equally fruitful with or without an Mba Degree. We just need to have the hunger for learning and growing!

It's really great listening to you didi . I did my 11th and 12th from science but mujhe uneasy sa lagta thaa . Chemistry and calculus were the worst enemies of my life at that point of time . I joined a coaching for preparing for jee in 11th but waha jane ke baad laga ki mere saath wale students are putting their all in it. I thought mai bhi kar lungaa but slowly slowly vo chapters ke back lagta gaya and itna ho gaya ki tension hone lagi . Exams me pehle no. Nahi aa rahe thee but phir dosto ke saath cheating karke sabki rank aane lagi . I was feeling ki galat kar raha hu and ek din maine 3rd class bunk karke dosto ke saath mall chala gaya bec vo class chem ki thi and vo bahot boring thaa but on that very day I realised that I will not be able to crack kit like this and more importantly I don't feel like studying these chapters . I thought to quit this coaching but fir gherpe kya batata . Itne mee half yearly results were out in school and my percent was 59 that was a serious letdown for me and my family but they were still ready to pay coaching fee. But mereko pata thaa ki is coaching se kuch nahi hoga and at that month I got typhoid and I skipped school and college for a month . I was hospitalized and when I came home in the evening there was an issue going on that mai coaching kaise karunga bec this travelling really doesn't suits my body so ek uncle ne kaha ki iss saal coaching mat karo 12th ke baad kar lenaa and mere ko ek mauka mil gaya I said ok . So coaching bund ho gayi mere marks improve ho gaye school me and in 12th I got 90 percent . Till then I have decided ki mai 2 saal drop nahi karunga coaching ke liya pehle hi 30K waste karwa diya hu mai . I said I will change my stream and choose commerce . I gaveenterence exam of many colledges for BBA . And I got selected for Symbiosis Pune but interview bacha thaa and usse pehle they wanted 1 lakh rs within 4 days . And at that point of time I was not having that much money so I left Symbiosis and waited for more results to come and luckily I got selected in Lucknow University .since I live in Lucknow I thought it was a good option for me .and now I am in my 1st year it's exam is in April . I am now planning to get admission in a top mba school . Since I left jee I already regret it but now I have a chance to reach the same level by a different road and I am willing to put my all in it. I watch your videos and those are the guidence I only need I really want to thank you for putting so much efforts in making those videos and covering all the small details . I joined an internship in Dec called mentorsity , younity and a WWF funding internship at once and it was super hectic I suddenly have to work on linkdin and create profile and recrute people for a hackathon and on the other hand I am doing sales work in younity and WWF ke fund ki to lag hi gayi at the end I was not able to complete my targets in any of them and mentorcity se to mere sales manager se jhagra bhi ho gaya after all thais I was expecting to get about 15k of stypend from adding them but I end up getting only rs 100 . Mera to dimag hi kharab ho gaya . But us ekmahine me mujhe 100 Rs kamane ke saath ye pata chala ki hr me kya karte hai and sales me kaisa kaam hota hai and on top of it mereko linkdin puri samajh me aa gayi . Mere 200 connections bane linkdin me ab pata nahi uska koi kaam hai ki nahi but ek profile to hai. Maine intern hiring ki hr wale internship me . At the end mereko bahut sara experience mila and linkdin thoda samajh me aaya . It was a nice try in my 1st semester ab exam khatam hone ke baad may se cat ki preperation bhi start karunga completely and saath me internship bhi karunga . And yes in the December only ek KPMG ka case study competition bhi join kiya tha but uske bhi 1st round me reject ho gaya . Usme mereko sabse pehle ek video send karni thi and I have to introduce myself but unlucky me it was a team competition and mere kamine dosto ne apni photos send kar di mereko whatsapp pe and said I should introduce them by using their photo and so I edited a video with the photo of those 3 idiots and explained their college and course etc. And I was sure it will be rejected and wahi huaa. But jo bhi ho ager maine aapka channel nahi dekha hota to mereko internship apps ke bare me pata hi nahi chalta and I would never have realised how to reach iim Ahmedabad target . Even my efforts have been useless till now but I built my confidence and developed the courage to do it right the next time . At least now I know what I have to do to reach and there is someone to guide me all the way to the top. Didi you are really doing great by making such informative videos . Like me there are lots of people who follow your each and every word . You are an ideal to all of us didi . Pls creating these lovely videos for us . Thank you. And I would like you to share my story on your channel so that new students who reach to your videos can know that what an amazing person you are . 😊👍👍👏👏

Although I was happy when I got this but eventually I realised this job and the whole lifestyle was just sucking my happiness and this is mental torture and nothing else. I tried to quit this job many times but you know it’s too scary to even think about being jobless and not earning on your own. But finally gathered some courage and quit it after so many sleepless nights and a lots of overthinking. Right now m just listening to my inner voice and ready to devote my time for preparing for govt sector. like you I don’t know when m going to achieve that but atleast m happy by my decision and hoping the best.Thank you ❤

Since I work in public sector (govt office) let me tell you. It isn't really much different to private sector. I worked for 2-3 years in private. While preparing for govt job. Got in. Thought life would be bliss, relaxed pace of lifestyle though money was not that good compared to private. 5 years fast forward. It's literal hell. No one tell you the office politics in govt sector, higher officials appeasement. Egoistic co worker who make anonymous complaints against you. Frequent transfer or no transfer... And most of all. Nobody cares about anybody in govt job like private until you offer some financial opportunity (bribery/ corruption). Oh and yeah don't think about bringing drastic changes. No one likes it. Mediocrity is the Norm here.

@moonlightgamers1436 Hey, I hope you find the courage and mental strength to tackle all challenges that life throws on you head on. Regarding what you said - no one said it's as tough as medical or engineering. But it doesn't mean we don't go through our fair share of problems as well. Thanks to India's population, it's hyper competitive no matter which field you choose - medical, management, engineering. Hell, even after studying for years and getting a 99.8ish percentile, so many candidates still don't end up in the colleges of their dreams.
That said, not sure why a comparison is needed in the first place. Comparing between the two fields is like comparing apples with oranges. Invalidating the problems faced by thousands of people not in the same field as you won't help you get any closer to your dream. Thanks.

I can't describe the mental torture i went through. I did not fit that role and being stuck in a sub par no growth/flexible role and company even after being a graduate from a top tier college really sent me in depression. I quit after 18 months i just couldn't handle it. I prepared for cat and now have all the calls except banglore. I've now decided to pursue a career in SCM or analytics. I hope I get this chance and more than that I hope i like working in these fields. If not then I'll have to suck it up and continue because I can't be chasing butterflies all my life.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and making this video. For the last two years, I have been preparing for MBA entrance exams, and two years before that, I converted SIIB Pune, which was no doubt a good college, but I felt I could do better than this and took a year off to prepare once again for MBA entrance exams. During this time, I got connected with an organisation that was conducting a leadership lecture series on UA-cam, which I later turned into a startup. After working there for a couple of months, I got interested in entrepreneurship, but as MBA came before entrepreneurship in my life, I appeared for as many exams as I could and finally converted IIFT on June 17th, 2022. Then I went there and attended the college for a week, and I came to realise that this is not something I want to do for the rest of my life. I felt that after entering into this it would be very difficult for me to come out of this ‘Rat Race’ and I would be bound to this for at least the next 6-7 years of my life, which would also keep me away from my startup. So, one week after starting college, I made the decision to leave my MBA programme and pursue something I am truly passionate about: working on my startup. I don’t know how long it will take for me to make money out of it, but I know that I will be happy and excited to work every day towards it. Hands off to you for taking this bold decision. I know how hard it is to make a decision like this.

Today, standing at this point of time, if I wouldn't have left my job since them, I would have never explored new things, would have never started my own small business serving over various customers across India, and definitely wouldn't have been able to speak up so confidently that Yes, it was a right decision! We crib about being in that wrong train, but yes sometimes, the solution is simple! I got to heard and is still hearing so many things from people all around, and as you said, people still thinks, Ghar baithe note chaap rahi hu.. 😅😂

This is an awesome and most practical viewpoint of an MBA. I also deeply feel, an MBA is not about a processing machine towards a particular high paying job, it is and should be a self realization where one can find out the intense passion towards any desired niche by which he/she can give something return to the society along with handsome earnings. Your own story of quitting high paying job and slowly coming back to your passion zone is a true inspiration for me! Thanks for sharing...

Everyone is unique and has their own journey. Personally, I can't even imagine how can someone feel low even after graduating from 'The' best B-school but I guess life is not as simple as it seems. Btw I am doing an IT job and yet another IIM aspirant but I totally understand your state of mind. I have myself done a sales job for a few months. Obviously, mine was a low-end sales job offered to undergrads unlike your position but I believe the pressure doesn't change or rather enhances growing up the ladder in the sales department. My sales job might not have taught me many things but one thing it has engraved in my head very well is that sales is not my cup of tea and if I get an opportunity to be a part of a good B school I would indeed choose my major anything but sales. So even your worst experiences teach u a lot.

    Hats off dear 🍻
From an IIM grad - And an Area Sales manager (present)
And I am having the same feeling that you had about sales. Let’s see if I can move to a marketing role. Hoping for the best.

I can completely understand where you coming from and what issue you had in the past and it's not easy to handle such things. You are a rockstar and you are motivating every individual with your raw and genuine content. Lots of love and support from my end.
