3-minute reviews delivers again a smaller game with an honest, hype-free review. Never would’ve looked twice at this game without this review. Now it’s in my steam library and I’m gonna smash it out this Sunday. Thanks guys for these reviews. What you have here with this format is something special.
I think this might have been better as a film. The strong aesthetic and good writing could have had more focus in that mode, and it's not like it has much in the way of interaction to give up for it. I'll probably play it anyway.
I guess that's always the discussion when it comes to narratives and mediums. I do think the interactivity of video games tend to make even simple stories more involving. It's the difference between watching something happen to someone, and watching it happen to *you* even if you are temporarily filling the shoes of a character. It tends to make stories feel more personal, which is great for well-told stories that are trying to make a point
I really enjoy quality voice acting/story, and have been enjoying playing low-stress titles like this in the evening. I'll be sure and pick a copy up! Thanks, Will :)
On the one hand, I'm sick of "mental health for dummies" 2 hour indie games, on the other hand, I've been hanging out for a non-pervy visual novel I can play on my phone...

I love the time period, settings and visual style of this. Thanks for the heads-up!

@@onedeadsaint Whaaa? I hope you were satisfied with the quality of my comment anyway! 🤣
@@andrewhickinbottom1051 it was "insightful" and "relatable".

Dude I read this and mistook it as a comment on the recent asmongold video and it still made so much sense

Yeah, I'm getting "Why couldn't this be a movie?" vibes. Thanks for the honest review, Will.
I like the aesthetic
_Any_ game that takes place in Antarctica *needs* to have a secret ending wherein you meet *_Gwar_* and join their cause.
Thats amazing
What's its frozen balls kind of did everything too well. Fresh blood is a nice refresh if you're viscerally cleaning up spray goop with a toothbrush!
another great review from cruz
Thanks! Will buy ^^

This would be great if it was on Game Pass too.
