DWK - Khan's last year. Showmaker's had a chip on his shoulder are year. Canyon is insane. Ghost has become super consistent. Beryl's over aggressiveness is starting to become a positive as the team communicates better. Congrats to kkOma for his 10th LCK title. Mad Lions - This team seems to have the most fun. Even when they are in a bad game they are still having fun and find those team fights that will turn it around for them. Their team fighting really has been amazing all year. You wouldn't think that if you listend to their coms. RNG - They won MSI. They come back lose 7 games straight and then win 8 games straight. Xiahou is best top laner in the world. Ming is best support in the world. Wei has become an amazing jungler and will never forget to pick smite as summoner spell again. Cryin' has made the most improvement in the team. They are amazing team and do everything right but sometimes I feel they are missing an X factor. FPX - DoinB & Crisp cannot keep carrying this team. LWX seems scared to react compared to other ADC's. Tian is way too aggressive and Nuguuri who is great in late game team fights is consistently losing lane and showing up to early fights too late. EDG - This team is very similar to mad lions. All the players seem to be having a lot of fun and their team fights are amazing. T1 - Faker is hungry and Angry. Canna is proving to be a consistent top lane. Tedy & Guma probably best ADC's in the world. Oner has really become a strong point....Keria who was my favorite support all year and an amazing support has proven time and time again he cannot bring out peak performance during a champion match. LNG - The one team that is done nothing but Improve and fight for their games all damn year. Good luck to Tarazan, Icon, Iwandy, Light and Ale. FNC - Hungry as hell. I think each one of these players really want to prove themselves. Their aggression in play style is just like FPX, Bwipo is extremely proactive jungler. 100T - Say what you want about a Hooide org. but these guy's have been putin in work. Closer's Le shin seems to be on par with Tarzan & Canyon. A great coach goes a long way.
Very insightful thoughts. I have reservations about Fnatic though. They seem a lot more proactive, because now that Bwipo is jungle, he and the aggressively likeminded Hylissang can coordinate their aggressiveness much easier. However, I feel like the top teams at worlds are a lot better at reacting with teamfighting and on the spot thinking to "cheese" strategies and aggressiveness as a team, and they could actually look foolish more than a few times when they get punished for it. Mad Lions is the only Worlds level team they have faced with their new proactive aggression strategy, and that ended up a 3-1.

I think they are right about lck But Damwon is still really good Everyone seem underestimate them About T1 their early game macro is really good but their mid game seem a bit messy and thier team fighting is weak compare to EU or LPL team

I think we just really have to ask ourselves what is MAD bringing compared to the G2 miracle year. Are we saying that the general competition was down across the board this year so first seed EU has a reasonable chance or that MAD brings something to the table in the same way G2 did? Also I think T1 is extremely hard to place. If you've been following their summer split where they basically just played musical chairs until a bit before playoffa, idk how people are so sure they're not even in the running for 1st. Khan always ints at international tourneys, so will be interesting to see if he can maintain that LCK form at Worlds this year. If he can, Damwon will be a problem as Ghost and Beryl have improved massively, and you still have the stars of Canyon and Shoemaker.
How you know DK Ghost and Beryl improved a lot? They just easily rolled LCK like they did in Spring. Ofc when they face better teams then LCK teams they wouldn't look that much dominant or good (like what happens at MSI). I'm not saying DK are bad, but there is a really huge gap between them and any other LCK teams that you can't know for sure if they improved or not. I mean DK this year are way weaker then last year and they still manage to easily roll everyone in LCK. DK still a top team at Worlds but honestly I don't think they improved from Spring or MSI.

I feel like at lot of people are underrating LCK. Yes LPL and EU are much more used to all out war with the team fighting. That has been the case for the last 2 years but you can't sleep on LCK. Remember what happened last year? Not saying it's gonna be the LCK again winning but what's good about the LCK is their adaptability. They adjust too quick depending on who they're playing. I know it's dim but still hoping for Faker to win 1 more worlds before hanging those mouse and Keyboards. My prediction is.... It's totally up for grabs. With how good the teams now, we can't say who will be the kings of Worlds 2021 but the top teams on my list to win it all are any LPL team, DK, T1(hoping). I don't understand why people think LCK is bad. The level of play of LEC this year (especially in playoffs) was horrendous, besides MAD being the only team playing somewhat clean. LCK is looking good especially T1 and DWG and they are both contenders for the title. That being said I do think this year is gonna be close since the meta is prone to snowball-y games and that can lead to a team like MAD beating any of the eastern top 4

Yeah cause LPL has won the 3 out of the last 5 international competitions and LCK has only won once along with LEC. And GenG are probably one of the worst major region teams in the tournament.
If I'm being honest, I have more faith in MAD than FPX shockingly. I think FPX's major weakness is their reliance of Doinb and sure DK would arguably win again but I doubt it since MAD was able to find some cracks in their armor at MSI. It's a matter of if Ghost and Beryl will int hard like they have at MSI but we'll see.

LCK for the most part right now is not performing well as a team. It is very clear they have top tier players like China, they just cannot seem to play the game well enough to beat them except for Damwon. Whereas in LPL most if not all the seeds have the potential to win worlds or are downright favourites.

No, MAD is an incredible team on its own. MAD improved a lot over the year and are far stronger than Spring. MAD is more reminiscent of 2019 G2 than 2021 G2 is of 2019 G2.

LPL is the best region. LCK is really a 1 team region. First seed for LCK is probably the best in the world. The other seeds aren't as strong as LPL or LEC seeds.

Recently LPL has been out performing LCK internationally and Korea has looked weaker compared to the past. Damwon look much worse with khan than with nuguri. Their bot is really shaky as well. I'd love to see T1 win worlds but if im being realistic it doesn't seem possible at their current level

I don't understand why people think LCK is bad. The level of play of LEC this year (especially in playoffs) was horrendous, besides MAD being the only team playing somewhat clean.
LCK is looking good especially T1 and DWG and they are both contenders for the title.
That being said I do think this year is gonna be close since the meta is prone to snowball-y games and that can lead to a team like MAD beating any of the eastern top 4

If I'm being honest, I have more faith in MAD than FPX shockingly. I think FPX's major weakness is their reliance of Doinb and sure DK would arguably win again but I doubt it since MAD was able to find some cracks in their armor at MSI. No, MAD is an incredible team on its own. MAD improved a lot over the year and are far stronger than Spring. MAD is more reminiscent of 2019 G2 than 2021 G2 is of 2019 G2.

Saying that all of LPL is better than LCK bar DK is fallacious, it's completely unjustified. Had LCK got the same luck LPL did with the QF draws last year (DK vs G2, DRX vs GenG) then LCK would be the undisputed best region right now.
