I absolutely love long battles that have you tearing through the streets of Kamurocho. All the way from Tenkaichi to Kamurocho Hills, this was a banger battle.
This part is more like what I expected from the big Go-Ryu assault, but in the end it was like a dozen dudes. The heck did they need those 200 cars for, could've just taken a bus.
Yeah, they have more like tons of dudes on dojima family when they hunting kiryu so hard in yakuza 0.then again probably all of them busy fighting majima family and Daigo who also leading the tojo clan
@@mdnain7841 except the Tojo was explicitly on bomb duty. I really don't get why the Go-Ryu invasion was so lame in this game, not only is the final battle what it wanted to be but they nailed city wide invasions in the older games too.
I have a big mix of the Yakuza soundtracks on for lifting. It's mostly great...until it abruptly shifts from the combat tracks or Virtical Point into one of the cabaret management tunes. Or even worse, into Scattered Moments. Then I get sad thinking about Goda
WARNING: This is the point of no return. Once you head to Kamurocho hills, you're locked into the endgame with no more chances to explore Kamurocho or Sotenbori. You'll get an opportunity to save and resupply, but you won't be able to turn back once you start. You'll be starting at Serena, and will have to battle your way to Kamurocho hills. It's not gonna be easy, though, as there are enemies all around Kamurocho, and there are also a lot of weapons around, including some rather rare ones. *WATCH OUT FOR ENEMIES WITH RPGS.* Those rockets will do a ton of damage if they hit Kiryu directly, cannot be blocked at ALL, and will send him flying. You can talk to the Poppo Clerks to get some free Toughness Infinities.
i agree, stuff from dragon engine games are the shit, as well as games that were made after yakuza 5. yakuza 3 and 4 all had their great soundtracks, but in my opinion these all hit the hardest
@@Jaegeredit's more of an electro style after 5 but I think it does maintain great qualities in music especially because of the variety of it. Like in yakuza 6 you can find almost anything from rock to classical music
The intro of this track is fucking sick, especially where 0:17 hits ... I was hyping screaming out loud of emotions when Kiryu was running towards the enemies.
As i predicted, Musics during final levels, missions or course to the final boss It's like you better get ready for the final battle / showdown and i find music with such anticipating feel very awesome
Well, this theme was all about a race to a tower while facing like a hundred mafia members head-on. This track is persistence incarnate. I wonder who Kiryu learned that from...
It's such a shame that a larger piece wasn't made from that guitar solo. I feel like it could've gone on for at least a verse or two more. On the other hand, I suppose it leaves you wanting more, which is a good thing for a looping background track.
Pro tip: If you go into the convenience store outside of Serena during this section, the cashier will give you a Toughness Infinity.

@NightOwl Huh. Neat

I guess I could do a few more laps around Millenium Tower, just to hear this again..
Ryuji has time to wait.
I just walk slowly and beat the shit out of anyone who comes in my way.
I literally did that when the music slowed down
Bruh i went all around Kamurocho looking for any more weapons lime that mifune thing and that’s when i noticed that the music was fire
I had the Yakuza Training Gear on so I was forced to walk, but I said "nah this shit too good I'm keeping it on."

Because cars are way quicker. And they have more time to prepare
The shift to the instrumental stuff a minute into the song easily turns this into the best long battle theme

The best thing about Kiwami 2 for me, I love this track to death.
One thing I noticed about the positions of the characters : one is from osaka, on the left (West) and the other is from Tokyo, on the right (east) .

This would be Kiwami 2's music for the combination of cutscenes and gameplay that Kiwami 1 and Y0 had.
