I have a TI-84 Plus (not sliver edition just base model) and when i open up doom it comes out as a load of stripes, any tips on how to make this work?
edit: i pressed down and enter when the game was open and the game it's self looks fine just the menu is a little messy 👍

actually yes but its not that diffrent u just need to get the ti connect CE edition not the ti connect regular
Yes as in it doesnt work yet the TI84 and the plus CE are a little different cause of how the plus CE works until someone makes one for the plus CE it wont work

My computer says USB connection failure, insufficient memory. but i just got the TI-84+ and my computer doesnt seem low. I dont know whats wrong
you need to reset your memory on your calculator. i think they fill it up with their programs.
you need to press the function 2 button
then click on the memory button (+)
than scroll down to number 7, hit enter
then do the side button to all tab
then click all memory
then go to option 2 and chose reset

Great video but how do i download TI connect using a chromebook?
you can't unless you use a windows emulator for chromebook, which I have no idea how to do
Sadly chromebooks do not support this yet. :(
Tried getting Ti Connect to not crash when selecting calculator, but it crashed every single time. I also tried sending the programs through Ti Connect CE and it just says the files aren't a program/ wrong file. Any ideas on what I could do here?

@@bookw3rm6 No sadly. There is a developmental version in progress, and I will post a video about it soon. In the meantime, other fun games are Mario or Donkey Kong or Galaga etc.

@@CalculatorGuy2001 yeah. I'm using the same ti connect program, and I'm able to get up to the part where it sends the files tk the calculator. The part that says 0 of 2, 1 of 2, etc. When I get here, it gives that message and my options are to retry, which never works, skip, which just cancels everything, or cancel. @@johnlowney8870 ok, if you have a ti-84 plus, use the new ti-connect CE software; you can find it on google, if not, I think there’s a troubleshooting link in the description

there is something on the top of the browse page. drop it down and you will see the types of files you have. you should go to one that says downloads

Sadly no, it only works with the ti83/84 plus.

No. There were multiple attempts across the web, but no one has come out with one.
My computer won't accept the calculator, I did it on my school computer and it connected, but I could not use Ti connect due to it being blocked. How do I fix this?

If you have a ti-84 plus, then use the software Called “ti-connect CE”. It works way better

What’s the status?
Sadly there's no doom on the CE out yet, but I'll make a video on good alternatives. Someone attempted to program doom last year but gave up, and I can show that too.

Once it’s in your calculator, you can unplug it.
Do you HAVE to use mirage?
There are a few other apps/shells that you can use, but mirage is the best. Sadly you can’t run it by itself.

Okay! MirageOS runs off of the calculators memory, so you would need calculator memory. You can search on google “how to increase memory on ti-84 plus” and you will find useful articles. Let me know if you still need help!

No. It may seem like it because it is assembly code.

When I had the doom file and go to ti connect i. Ring the files over says that the files aren't there
@@motta4life Hmm. You might have a faulty wire connection thing. I don’t know a whole lot about this topic, so maybe someone else can help more. But maybe the wire things your problem, and you need a new one?

even though i haven't downloaded anything on my ti-84 plus
your ti-84 plus comes with some math apps preinstalled so will have to delete those using the ti connect exe with ti explorer and delete all the programs but before you do make sure to back up your ti 84.

mine just infinitely transfers and after a bit it just says “the current transfer failed a retry may be successful “ (8c010001)
edit: 40 minutes later and it bricks my calculator, is stuck on “not responding” whenever i try to do anything on it, and the one time it was “working” it just said the battery was low which is not true.
