Fu Hua is such a great character and i'm glad she's finally getting to be the focus in the newest story chapters. it's about time our favorite chicken got some of the spotlight
the lore video i didn’t know i needed. the chicken just seemed so in character to hsr’s sushang that i didn’t even think about where it came from 😭. love your videos!!
Loved the video, very entertaining but the fact that the actual reason can be shortened to:" Well The HI3rd protag has a pun that relates her to tuna, and one of the character's Sushang is related to has a pun that made the entire internet relate her to chickens because its funny, so Hoyo took it a step further and made Sushang's sacred animal guardian a chicken that gets calld phoenix." is so unbelivable yet completely reasonable that I'm in shock.
ive been doing a replay of hi3 due to my orignial account being on the steam version and that having many issues. as someone who became an accidental sushang main in hsr and is working hard to get that free herrcher of sentience ive been thinking about this exact same thing. one extra detail is that most of fu huas desiples are dead and they once tried to kill fu hua. i wasnt able to get far enough on my og account to fully meet hi3 sushang but did see her a bit. im super interested to see more. with playing hi3 again i have had headcannons on what a hsr hua could be like. apparently theres a general hua mentioned in one of the many many collectable readables but i dont know much more than that. if there was one then id like it to be a sort of hannah montana situation where shes both this legend that others greatly admire, and a normal chicken farmer who just happens to have a few interesting companions. this way we have both pheonix and normal fu hua in the game. sushang would know of both but not know this lady whos like a grandma to her and gave her chicken to her is the same person she named the chicken after. the reason why she would nave never mentioned this was because she doesnt know the connection and didnt think it was that important. it would be a fun way to introduce lore about pheonix the chicken (because theres like zero) and a funny reference to ELF academy (love that being included in the video lmao i love that series). we know sushang's mother is alive still in hsr because sushang's whole character assencion story unlocks are her writing letters to her mother after moving to the Luofu and the last is a letter back. (i love this particuar story bc i adore hsr sushang as a character and its where i found out about guinaifen who became my favorite so fast. also dyslexic sushang real) so i would like to think they would have a good relationship with the hua in this timeline. like i can imagine her character voiceover about it being like "We're not related or anything, its just my mother greatly looks up to her and claims she's the wisest person within the Xianzhou. I dont disagree with her, but I do wonder how she found that out." i just really want to see fu hua in hsr and the set up we already have analysing sushang in that. also maybe senti if that could ever be made sensical lmao. no idea how that could work but senti is one of my faves and theyd THRIVE in hsr's meme enviroment.

Like others said Sushang was taught by Hua's disciples, in detail Sushang is a kid of one of Hua's disicples(who by old Martial arts are basically Hua's adopted kids) and was tuaght by her mother before being sent to the disciple's yonger sister Lingshuang(the only one of the disiples to master the Tiaxuan arts. Making Sushang not only Hua's grand disciple but her grandkid. 2)Hua and the ther Mantises Got their stigmata when they became a mantis. Alot of the dialouge from ER and the Finality arc says that Mantise naturaly get a stigmata upon becoming a mantis. The girls Dr.Mei gave a stigmata to seems to be the rest of the female Fire Moth staff. We also learn through the Moon Shadow Manga Herrscher cores carry/grant a herrscher Stigmata to the host weather they become a herrscher or not, with Gratitude arc/Sakura's arc showing the same thing. Though for those manga it more stated in their honkai classroom(something that was cut from the EN release of the mangas). This is important because both Hua and Mobius became temporary Host to PE HoC due to mobius experiments, with Hua being the perfect host for it, grating them the HoC Stigmata and some of it's powers, that only ever use in ER. Hua also gets a stigmata from becoming the host for HoS, which we see when Senti preforms EoT. With EoT being shown multiple times to show the stigmata the Users' is actively using at that moment. 3) Hua was Shenzhou guardian nearly right after she woke up, long before she took on any disciples. Also Hua is know by the names " The Immortal Phoenix" and the "The Celestial/ The Empyrean". She was never called the Sage.
You just got one fact wrong fu hua didnt train sushang but her disciple did her name was cheng lingshuang who was said to be the only one who fully mastered blade eminence thats why sushang refers to hua as 'grandmaster'
Mama Sushang is the 7th Hua disciple ! she joined at 8, but can't remember squat before that. No parents, no hometown-just waking up in Fu Hua's arms. After some messy assassination drama, she ghosted the martial arts scene for 3 years, only to resurface and hitch up with Li Shen. Their love story went viral, but surprise, it was all a setup by Li Shen wanting to steal the Edge of Taixuan. Then they birthed our girl Sushang! Before the big hit on FuHua, she tried warning Hua, but Su Mei shut her down. The grief from her master's death messed up her Blade Mantra. She dead but we’re not sure how

Sushang didn't train under Fu Hua, but rather under one of Fu Hua's disciples.
