So i am thinking of buying an MR2, i will use your advice and the advice of others on where to look. But i live in the Netherlands, and it does rain quite a bit (not like the UK), there is snow. And my question is what the best way is to prevent rust. Sadly we don't have a place to keep the car inside.
I would say keep your car clean as much as you can. We in the UK get alot of salt put on the roads so what I do is pressure washer all the arches and sills very well. You can also underseal the underside of the car and seal the outside with a protection layer Autoglym will do the trick to help protect the paint.
It always amazes me what happens to these little cars that owners neglect!
Fuel, brake, clutch hydraulic lines and fittings rust or corrode.

Is the one in the thumbnail the one in the video? If so what was the reg?
I'm not sure I had 3 or 4 grey ones at the time
It's no big deal the rust can be brushed back cleaned and ready for welding
