I can answer this from my experience. I have done a hue forge print and mixed asa and abs in the print. Given the print temps and properties they have just as much likely hood of bonding as printing different color PLA (generally speaking.)
That’s a great idea. The rootiest from our fizzys tech server already set me up with slicer configurations for swapping between the 2 filaments. I wanted to show the difference in flow rate for those who have never tested either or just One or the other
i switched from polymaker lime abs to the uv reactive neon green, much better contrast with purple. might have a secondary accent in the dark purple abs. keep killing it!!!
Do you think the ASA heat resistance being a bit higher is worth the slight loss in durability? Typically ABS is a bit tougher while ASA has the higher heat resistance. (just from testing results I've seen)
@@TheVoronModder By durability, I was meaning that the rigidity of ASA leads it having less give, more likely to crack, more brittle. I've only printed ASA, and not ABS, so not sure how much they differ, as they are always lumped together. I'm just going off testing I've seen of different plastics to compare and figure out which is best to use in situations.

I built both of my vorons with polymaker asa! Its great filament......my ldo is also pop green and its black light reactive!
If you wanted to you could update the pressure advance with, SET_PRESSURE_ADVANCE ADVANCE=0.0XX

Dang, nice prints!
Can we print TPU filament on top of the ASA/ABS ?

That’s interesting, I find abs to be strong yet pliable, Asa to be tough as nails and rigid. It’s also in how you print.
