- This isn’t really a how to, but I’ll show you most of the steps for changing the springs on your Audi TT mk2. These H&R lowering springs are a nice subtle modification, and the handling on them is great.

2002 180 Quattro...put the same H&R springs all around! What a difference (3 out of my 4 were broke!!) Car looks great and rides and handles so much better! Great Vid!
I went for dsg as I read about several clutch issues in the manual. Dsg is a dream to drive in the S
Certainly from a modification standpoint, the dsg just handles extra power easily and is better, from a weight and balance of the car point of view I feel the manual has its advantages

If you don’t mind me asking, what tyres are you running? And since doing your springs, about how much of a gap is left?

mate, a few days on now and with the springs fully settled, are the fender-tire gaps in the rear and front on level terms now, or is the front still a wee bit higher ?
It’s hard to say because the part of my driveway I park on isn’t level, but over the next few days I’ll be putting it on level ground to do the camber and alignment, so I will get accurate measurements then and get back to you
My front suspension is sitting loose in the top mounts. Does that mean they just need to be re- tightened, or are they bad?
Could be the half nut is lose, or bad bearing
Did you end up removing those 20mm rear spacers because they were catching?Im toying with the idea of lowering springs on a Pug 107.
Yeah I need to fine tweak a few other things and then experiment with spacer sizing.
How is the ride quality vs the stock springs? Noticeable harsher? Found a broken spring on my mk2 yesterday and looking at these H&r springs
It’s just slightly firmer, still nice, I’m actually selling these ones on though as I picked up some coil overs for a bargain!

For a mk1 you need 225 40 18 on 8j wheels

All right ! And, I bet you've got a list. You've got a beautiful TT there with which to work. I went to AZ and drove back an '01 w. BB a year ago. Manual top. (No top button between the seats) We'll see what's going on when we dig into it when we reglue the rear windscreen now sitting in the basement. I've not talked with anyone who's seen anything but an hydraulic top. This weekend it's replacing the heater core (a fiddly job) and sending off the instrument cluster for a pixel redo. Life in the fast lane. @@BWSTT

Back to back data shows that yes, an open cone filter with a greater surface area than the standard filter will increase the maf readings earlier in the revs- the maf is reading the mass of the air, so don’t worry about it being hotter air, it’s still getting more oxygen to burn by being free flowing.

Hello, a question that is not for this vid but still want to ask it. I have a mk1 TT 225 BAM 2001 and my turbo has play. I want to send it out to make it hybrid and do a service on the engine like oil, belts water and oil pump and add an intercooler with a remap and aim for 290hp 300hp maxxxxx. My car has passed 292500 km and I am wondering if it will be reliable. Any suggestions? My exhaust just has the stock muffler and it has nothing else on it, I removed the cat and resonator. Thanks and lovee the vids, saved me a lot of times.

I need to inspect my current turbo, as long as its in good health it will be staying for now, of course if its worn, it will be upgraded

dont do it if no good road i got h&r lowering springs and koni sport and always tyre damage inside tyre hit suspension because of bad road...in result ball joint will need change every year..this time i add and spacer and new suspesion stop inside because of so low
