  • For 55 years, the University of Washington Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity has been creating pathways for diverse populations to access postsecondary opportunities, nurturing and supporting their academic success, and cultivating a campus climate that enriches the educational experience for all.
OMA&D has commissioned this book, Revolution to Evolution: The Story of the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity at the University of Washington, to celebrate the dynamic history that brought OMA&D into existence, and the stories of those who have gone on to change the world.
Come hear the stories of OMA&D's founding, growth and continued excellence from the book's author and UW's beloved Emile Pitre in a moderated discussion hosted by Jeanette James.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase during the reception and again for the book signing portion.
