Fun fact: The reason scammers will intentionally mess up spelling is because it gets around spam filters. Often emails will use something like a Bayes algorithm and depending on words used, like "money", "transfer" and similar words, it will filter those emails as spam but the machine doesn't understand that "tranzfur" is just a weird spelling of "transfer" so it gets around the algorithm. Some emails will have bastardizations of the word built in but obviously you can't cover everything. Also, the thing that kept coming up as "concentration camp" is actually a kids show called PAW Patrol and I'll be honest, 80% of their own merch looks like off-brand stuff so if they just got the name right they could probably sell this stuff.
I'm fairly sure the Paw Patrol one is a case of someone not really knowing English and confusing "construction" with "concentration". At least that would make somewhat sense. 🤷🏼♀😅
Important fact: gullibility is not an innate quality, it's shifting factor in everyone's life. Anyone can be caught by a scam. There are ways to prepare and combat gullibility, but nobody can beat it, we are all susceptible to scams at different times in our lives. This is not a fun fact, but it can help people realise that they can be tricked, and that the people who are tricked are not silly, just unfortunate.
Another reason is that people who are less educated are less likely to notice or care about the misspellings and also less likely to know how whatever method they're requesting payment in works. Some scammer recently claimed to my mom that he needed a Steam gift card in order to access a method of messaging his friend in another country so he could get home, but expecting her to know what Steam was, and she wouldn't have if my brother hadn't asked for a Steam gift card for every Christmas and birthday for years.
The "No-Brand" chips are pretty popular. There's an entire grocery chain in Canada that's in-house brand is "No Name" and uses the same plain yellow packaging. And know what? Their products are usually better than the more heavily advertised name brands.
Not nearly all of them. I've found that most NoName brand stuff is absolute crap. Have you tried their saltines, marshmallows, or corn flake wannabes? Disgusting. Totally worth the extra cost to get the name brand. But their cat litter is just as good as any other. Of course I wouldn't eat that in the first place ...
No Name isn't a _great_ brand these days, but I'd say it's still just a little better on average than Great Value (but not by much). I remember No Name used to be better than it seems like it is now - it's possible that the expansion of the President's Choice line over the years has resulted in corporate decisions that quietly pushed the quality of No Name downwards, to further differentiate the two store-brands within the Loblaw's ecosystem. Either that, or nostalgia is tainting my memories of a time when I couldn't afford better.

Fun fact: Click's hypothesis about scammers using terrible grammar was actually right on the money according to a couple studies I remember learning about. I think it was in HBomberguy's video analyzing the War on Christmas non-sense. To paraphrase what I remember, there was a line in the study to the tune of "Since gullibility is an imperceivable personality trait, it is more efficient to make those with this trait self identify." Even out of that context this is just such a good quote. xD
No Name brand is an actual brand and all their packaging is black text on a yellow background with *maybe* a picture of the food on it too. Not too uncommon here in Canada.
I saw an off brand Hungry Hippos that was (at least I think it was called) Snacking Turtles. And honestly I'm more upset that it wasn't something like Chompin Crocs (same first letters for both words) than anything else
I remember that one year I had a very, very crappy birthday, because everyone, literally everyone outside my parents, forgot about it, and I was so bumped. I was... I don't know, 12 or so? And then, the oldest of my godparents (I had a lot, long story) came afterwards and gave me a VHS (or DVD? don't remember) of "The Beauty and the Beast" - the not-Disney variation. I have never watched it, I was so done, it looked so terrible on the cover, that even as a kid, I didn't wanted to watch it.
My problem with No Brand is that it's a chain of grocery stores and is a recognizable brand name in South Korea, where it's from. You can tell somebody that you got it at No Brand and people will know what you're talking about. And Canada has the "no name" brand which is also treated as a recognizable brand, even though it's supposed to be generic.
man... that "Shrek" movie at 11:55 has everything. A hilarious off brand Shrek, the racoon and turtle (and I think the snake as well) of "Over the Hedge" and the monsters of "Monsters, Inc.".

Films like Kiara the brave tend to be either other projects they rebranded to looks more like an upcoming film or rushed into production based of a super early add or press release. It’s important they com out before the real thing to maximise the amount of time only the fake version is on sale. While the real thing is cinema only confused people see it and think it’s just a different cover and with no real cover to compare it to buy it and these can even be best sellers in store so they get better self space and by the time the real thing comes out they can discount the offer in the hopes relatives buying presents buy the cheaper option.
I think Frozen Land is actually a real film made by a small studio in Asia. But someone got the rights to it and decided to cash in on Frozen. So it's not even trying to be a rip-off. It's just the westernized version is marketed that way.
It ... doesn't say icequeeN ... that's an R ... which is very fitting, considering the whole coming-out undertone that some people attribute to the movie.

It was an original story that was unique and really entertaining, and the visuals were often times really pretty. It was actually a really good movie. 10/10 would recommend, check it out if you can. It's a little slow at first, but ultimately is worth it.
I think someone stole some copies of the movie, and then repurposed them into a "ripoff" that only really changed the title. Because there are different covers for the ripoff, like Frozen World if I remember correctly.
@@WhirlyBeepBoops Oooh. That movie! I started watching legend of Sarila but unfortunatly got bored and stopped. Weird that they changed the name. From what I remember It's got nothing to do with Frozen, besides some snowy winter background at some point.

The store at 26:32 is in Sri Lanka. People in Sri Lanka don’t really learn about 9/11 anywhere because it’s “not important” to them, or at least it wasn’t when I studied there in like 2014
I love when click does subreddits like this… i just need to step away from the “harsh reality” ones
10:03 They look so terrified as if they know what kind of people will buy them instead of the target demographic.
They look as if the line was named My Little Glue Factory
Something a professional toymaker told me about these off brand toys - they're often painted with lead based paint.
Probably not because lead based paint is banned in most countries. He probably works/worked for some real toy brand and wanted people to stop buying the off brand toys.
@@marijevanderende6517 they're already intentionally deceiving people so I don't think lead paint is beyond them, but i don't really know lol.
I can’t wait for the day when someone opens up an off brand fast food restaurant with Rick Astleys face as the logo
They must have amazing cinnamon rolls with surprise fillings called Rick Rolls
The only restaurants Karens cant complain about
Never Gonna Give You E.Coli
Fun fact: Click's hypothesis about scammers using terrible grammar was actually right on the money according to a couple studies I remember learning about. I think it was in HBomberguy's video analyzing the War on Christmas non-sense. To paraphrase what I remember, there was a line in the study to the tune of
"Since gullibility is an imperceivable personality trait, it is more efficient to make those with this trait self identify."
Even out of that context this is just such a good quote. xD
Nothing more refreshing than the dew that precipitates on the leaves during a monsoon.
No Name brand is an actual brand and all their packaging is black text on a yellow background with *maybe* a picture of the food on it too. Not too uncommon here in Canada.
its owned by a cow furry
I love their stuff! Have you seen some of their non-food products? I saw they made a tumbler, and shopping bags now.
10:30 You missed that the smilie face is flipping us off. 🤣
I saw an off brand Hungry Hippos that was (at least I think it was called) Snacking Turtles. And honestly I'm more upset that it wasn't something like Chompin Crocs (same first letters for both words) than anything else
Teething turtle? 😁
Terror Turtles!
I get your point, however it could've been a play on "snapping turtles"
i m pretty sure chompin crocs is a game already or something of that nature
I remember that one year I had a very, very crappy birthday, because everyone, literally everyone outside my parents, forgot about it, and I was so bumped. I was... I don't know, 12 or so?
And then, the oldest of my godparents (I had a lot, long story) came afterwards and gave me a VHS (or DVD? don't remember) of "The Beauty and the Beast" - the not-Disney variation.
I have never watched it, I was so done, it looked so terrible on the cover, that even as a kid, I didn't wanted to watch it.
I'm starting to get the feeling Click is just looking for reasons to get drunk
My problem with No Brand is that it's a chain of grocery stores and is a recognizable brand name in South Korea, where it's from. You can tell somebody that you got it at No Brand and people will know what you're talking about. And Canada has the "no name" brand which is also treated as a recognizable brand, even though it's supposed to be generic.
I think I’m naming my Emotional Support Demon Tomato
I don’t know what to name mine.
I'm gonna call mine Satsuma
Nice, fruit based naming convention to go along with mango
Mine is going to be Nomnom
Someone at the party yesterday said "many people are naming their demon Uwucifer." I can't deny I'm a bit tempted.
man... that "Shrek" movie at 11:55 has everything. A hilarious off brand Shrek, the racoon and turtle (and I think the snake as well) of "Over the Hedge" and the monsters of "Monsters, Inc.".
I'm pretty sure the snake is from a movie called "The Wild" which was basically the Disney "Madagascar" ripoff
@@stupideclipse possible... never watched that one.
The off brand shrek is another character called fungus the bogieman. A cartoon character created by Raymond Briggs. Briggs created “The Snowman” cartoon, who’s animated version was a academy award nominee in 1983.
@@darrenhemingway7121 wow. Didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
The pig is from Sing
It ... doesn't say icequeeN ... that's an R ...
which is very fitting, considering the whole coming-out undertone that some people attribute to the movie.
what would be funny is if you started the video with a bunch of the emotional support demon and periodically through the video the count gets larger and larger until they take over
agressive wholesomeness
If I've learned anything by watching Saberspark, is that studios that make knockoffs can be just as relentless when it comes to claiming videos
Click has "dark alley vibes" at 11:45 because they literally gave Shrek the face of Fungus the Bogeyman.
For those who don't know. Here in Mexico we say lonche to refer to the food we bring to school, work, etc for, well, lunchtime! (Idk if other countries from Latin America uses lonche to refer to food tho). Yes, it sounds similar to the word lunch-
Hi click, I hope you and the emotional support demons are having a wonderful day!
Can't wait to see an "Emo Support Dog" ad placement in the near future
27:51 I just wanna say that the picture is just a image from the show or cartoon series called "Paw patrol". Its a show where a boy and his dogs go on different missions and save people from trouble. Each pup talks and has different abilities.
I watched it as a kid but haven't seen it in a long time so maybe stuff has changed. This is just what i remember.
Please do that “watching fake movies” thing, I love that shit
I'm absolutely at a loss for how they got from knockoff Paw Patrol to Concentration Camp. I'm going full on mind palace and keep coming up empty handed.
Your theory with the typos in scam emails is 100% correct. The second is, after they have been stringing them along, they go to the voice chat. "Mike from Texas" has an accent...and the victim overlooks that, too.
I got the best news yesterday! I had resigned myself to not getting the emotional support demon and when my boyfriend got home from work, he told me he bought me one!! He's the best and so are you, Click!! ❤️❤️❤️
10:27 - We need that smiley turned into a real emoji ASAP! 🤣
20:00 - No, Monopolio has nothing to do with any disease, it's how you say monopoly in Spanish (or in Portuguese, with the added accent: Monopólio). I don't know where they were going with that name but they got it somewhat right.
Couldn't believe my eyes. I had to stop the clip to see If that smiley actually does _this._
And I totally agree. We need this Emoji!
i love how Click's concept for a second channel is kinda just Saberspark's channel but with friends /pos /gen
21:45 love how they kept the gloves. Those were added by Walt because he thought mouse claws looked too scary for kids XD
Also, just like some other dark-skinned characters, it helps with siluette
*me, minding my business, watching this and scrolling through pinterest at the same time, absolutely zoned out*
suddenly the click: "hey ash wanna see my pokeballs?"
me: *startled scream*
I love my emotional defamation angel, very real brand.
29:53 I actually saw that movie a few years ago, expecting a Frozen rip-off. In the end, it wasn't. It was an original story that was unique and really entertaining, and the visuals were often times really pretty. It was actually a really good movie. 10/10 would recommend, check it out if you can. It's a little slow at first, but ultimately is worth it.
Its original name was Legend of Sarila, before some publishing company or whatever got dollar signs in their eyes.
Same saw it too
20:05 Monopolio is just Monopoly in spanish. I have no idea why it's in spanish while the product is in english.
My grandmother, bless her heart. Bought a hat for herself with colorful flowers on it. She went out somewhere one day and a little boy told her that he likes her Pokémon hat 🤣🤣
I'd love to see Click just lying in a pool full of Emotional Support Demons
I have a feeling he'd even be willing to do that naked (under the plushies) if people asked him enough lol
I wonder how many people never realise that there's always very very quiet music in the background of Click's videos.
Yeah the music actually does a lot, compare to JammieDodger's videos after watching a lot of Click and the lack of music is noticeable
I actually never even really noticed!
I've had earworms of the music for hours 🥴
@@sternentigerkatze interesting. I don't think I can hear it well enough for that.
I legit hadn't noticed, how
i freaking love the autonomy of the jaws poster, not only that it is human body with a shark head but the body just has so many tiny muscles, who even cane up with that!?
The movie at 23:41 is probably the hindu equivalent of one of those rip-off christian movies. Hanuman is a monkey god effectively who helps Rama save his wife from a gem on (very summary) so it would be like the angle that comes from heaven to guide the young man in the christian equivalent.
all these off-brand things had me dying of laughter. hope you do more of this in the future
"Frozen Land" actually has nothing to do with Frozen, in fact if I remember correctly the name was changed to cash in on the hype by some producers, but the movie itself is actually really creative
As of 11am EST, there were 6,600 orders for The Emotional-Support Demon.
Come on 66 random people! We believe in you!
25:09 Those are not random caracters, thats the Bird called Blue with his family. (If that was his name)
YES (also its blu, no e)
“Random characters that have nothing to do with adventure time”
9:20 its off-brand UA-cam and he says "is that an adult site? no thats another one right? I don't know, moving on."
19:48 As a quick note, "monopolio" means monopoly in Spanish, and although most current iterations of the game are still called Monopoly even in Spanish speaking countries, there were older iterations of it where it was refered to as Monopolio, and even some people like my dad refer to the game with its Spanish translation.
I once got a duvet cover from my lovely grandma from the naughty magazines, because it had a lovely bunny with a bowtie. I loved it, but all the other family members were not allowed to explain to my, as I was a 9yo. It was not off brand, but it was weird...
i think there's a certain charm to bootleg items. i like the ones where it's like they overheard a brief description and maybe saw an image in passing once (there's these bootleg sailor moon toys called like meteor girls or something that pop up on ebay, i love them and want them) or where it clear effort has been put in to it but at some point, somewhere in the creation process, something just went so terribly wrong so you'll end up with something like the "cursed saber figure". the like aliexpress/wish/night market bootlegs don't appeal so much to me because that's very purposeful, like they think spelling it Cucci or Lewis Viton is going to save them, though some still do have a certain appeal.
I could see my nan falling for the off brand stuff. Either way, I would cherish it with my heart.
16:20 The Knight Bus shows up in Prisoner of Azkaban. That's *literally* just the Knight Bus from Harry Potter.
my favorite thing in this video is the random "Defund planned parenthood" sticker on the Hello Kitty off brand phone case
MY CHRISTIAN DAD THOUGHT EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DEMON WAS SILLY AND IS GETTING ME ONE !!1!!1!!!! IM SO HAPPY :DD
22:58 I think it’s the flying “Spinner” car from Blade Runner.
Hard to be sure with the little amount of detail on it.
8:08 Danny Gonzalez actually did a video about this movie! It's very funny highly recommend. It's called "up but every thing is bad"
Fun fact: There was an actual American radio duo called Click and Clack, the hosts of Car Talk, which aired on WBUR-FM from 1987 to 2012. Their real names were Tom and Ray Magliozzi.
I'm researching this after 7 months and I can't stop rewinding the part when Click stabs himself in the eye with the glasses.
Fun fact: in Finnish paw patrol is called ryhmä hau.
So during Christmas time it's not uncommon to hear some say "so little Timmy wanted a group grave right?"
Because the partitive for ryhmä hau is ryhmä hauta which means group grave.
17:20 I can see someone wearing that at OKC Pride.
Heck, I hope someone does wear that at OKC Pride.
You were talking about the Nigerian prince email scam and the purpose of the typos is self selection to remove the people that wouldn't fall for it, so the scammers won't have their time wasted.
Fun fact: The movie poster from Ghana is for the actual movie it says it's for. There are a whole bunch of them, all hand painted, and every single one is a work of art.
I've actually seen the movie that was mentioned at 23:50! A good movie, a bit odd, but good. Had to watch with subtitles, but I liked it (can't remember most of it, other than the ending, but I know it was a pleasant surprise in that I thought it was going to be horrible.)
Friend was so excited to find a Prada blazer in a thrift store, I took a look and couldnt stop laughing; the label said PARDA.. Dyslexia, man.
13:34 That "no brand" thing is actually a rip off of a Canadian brand called "no name"... Kinda ironic lmao
There Is accidently Slovakian band called No Name
11:51 I think the best part of this one is the random Monsters INC. characters in the back XD. Like they didn't even bother to redesign them, just straight ripped lol
The irony here is that the "No-Brand" chips are actually a bootleg of the grocery company No Name in Canada. No Name are usually much cheaper but equally good grocery products (sometimes they miss though). They're practically a staple Canadian brand.
Okay, but that Bugs Bunny and Mouse Friends Mickey are what FNAF WISHES their animatronics were 😂
