I recently bought a Macbook Pro! So I’m now watching as many Macbook videos as possible. Also I didn’t know that they changed the whole OS name every year. Thanks for another great video Aaron!
@Kev2000 It used to be names like System 1-7 (80s-90s), then Mac OS 8-9 (1998-1999), then Mac OS X, (1999-2018, there was a “big cat” naming system, Cheetah-Lion, from 2000-2013), and finally macOS, (2018-present), which since 2013 has been named after Californian cities.
One feature that's not really been mentioned, is that last year when Apple brought MFI device support to Mac. Some MFI devices didn't work, more specifically for MFI Cochlear Implants. Now in macOS 15 beta 1, it now finally works.
Hi Aaron, I think people would appreciate if you could reduce the screen resolution when recording your Mac. It would be easier to watch the videos on the phone 😅
Great job as always - I would’ve loved to have seen what the UI changes in Mail and Calendar look like in MacOS like you showed us on iOS/iPadOS as a power user of both.
Thanks for the video, one feedback is that before recording you could change the resolution smaller so the view will be bigger so it’s easier to view on mobile
Hi, could you also test the drag function when your stage manager is on and the left side stack is showing, and drag the window to the left side, what is going to happen, and also try to maximize the window, will it hide the stage manager or show the left side stack like the Magnet app or the App Rectangle. Thank you!

Are they ever going to allow for MacOS to separate dark mode from night shift like with iOS on the iPhone? Its frustrating having to constantly change dark mode on and off rather than having them both relying on separate set times for the modes to kick in. Currently if you have your desktop set to auto dark mode, it only turns on when night shift does; so lets say at 9pm and, until then, all your windows are bright white which doesn't help with sleep.
