First of all, Love the raw content hampter 7:45 I'm new to ow, and my main issue with the game is the terrible matchmaking in qp, I barely unlocked all the characters and I'm going up against gms and top 500 rolequeue... I only noticed this when I complained at how well people were aiming and positioning and a friend that had more experience with the game pointed out the view career profile feature. I now always do it as soon as game feels unbalanced and it's always top500/gm/m. I see mostly high diamonds in my qp games, and this as a new player is not fun to me because I barely know the maps. Other than that, it's ow it's a good game, game design, art...

Overwatch has some of the worst matchmaking in any game I've ever played, you will rarely have a balanced match, it's usually a stomp in one direction or the other. You get used to it eventually and just learn to not take the game very competitively as mmr from team to team can vary drastically.

Skins (and every other item; sprays/icons/titles/charms/...) in OW2 literally have a defined price so that the shop can legally exist and the bundles are able to be sold. Each item and rarity tier has a designated value, you can buy (e.g.) a purple tier skin alone for $X value down the line, or in a more costly (but discounted) bundle at shop arrival, or even not at all (amazing concept people struggle with). The discounts on bundles cannot happen unless items are given value per item/tier across the board, and the bundles can come up later for cheaper as long as they have been in the shop for a certain period of time at the original bundle price. If Blizz lower the prices (like they did with that joke Moira Legendary that was a default skin with a beret) people who bought things prior get upset they are not getting refunded or reimbursed, and people who want to buy skins at lower prices were still required to buy in-game currency at the same price to cover the cost (like every game's marketplace tactic) - they will nver reduce the cost to e.g. $3 a Legendary skin as that's more than they have ever been valued (not cost) even in OW1, and as Chazm said the majority of OW2 skins are far better than they used to be, and other games on the whole. OW1 Loot Boxes were a slightly skewed RNG-fest that cost $80 for 100 back in 2017, with a drop rate of about 1-in-10 per Legendary, thus $8 per legendary right? Not exactly, it's $8 per *random* Legendary - on hour 1 of the new event you could pay $10 and get the new Rein Legendary, or pay $80 and still not get it. To make up for that they gave dupe credits, and tried to avoid dupes where possible. OW2 on the other hand is $20 for a *specific* skin bundle, you know what you are buying. For the luxury (yes Luxury compared to LootBox gambling BS that somehow is glorified) of knowing what you get, inflation, and general accepted costs for items in games, the prices have gone up compared to what people used to perceive from OW1. Hell, it took years for OW1 Blizz to make old skins cost 1000 rather than 3000, yet somehow OW2 tried to milk newcomers for old skins also when the cost was 'only' 1900.

Slap 2 in the name, promise a lot of shit, take away every possibility of earning free skins (1 skin per 5 or so months, golden guns are earned in somewhere same time frame), slap in battle pass, make 1 lvl battlepass a hero that is fuking op, make f2p grind for that hero, make f2p new players suffer, never deliver on talents, good pve, less cc, etc., release content in times frames that pleases investors not the audience, when customers become very angry (like when 1 skin cost was 8 month of grind) swap a gigantic mega dildo 3000 for gigantic mega dildo 2000, so they feel happy. All in all, we have been scammed big time Gameplay is still somewhat good, for some players even better. Not for me though, i'm not a competitive player, climbed up to gm and forgot about it, don't like tryhard. As a tank main playing now is fuking pain, especially with new hero. Haven't played for month, joined qp, found out how broken this shit was, abandonded till fixes or somewhat interesting. Watched pve missions, they are fuking trash holy shit, if given opportuninty i swear community would have done better job. As for skins, yes they are great, but not all of them and it all comes down to personal taste. I've played some League in the past, and they have way better skins than OW2, also some of dota2 skins are 2 heads above ow2. OW2 skins have so much potentinal but bliz never care much to improve.

said straight doodoo. there are a lot of games that have good skins. a prime example is paladins and smite. not only the skins super unique but it can make characters look like a whole different character. an example could be a a character that is a human. they would have a skin where they are a friggen dragon or demon AND will sound like a dragon or demon which is really cool. they dont only put a lot of effort into the skins but also into voice acting. in overwatch a skin can have a huge different appearance but sound like the default character which is such a waste of potential imo. a good example is the C-445 sharpshooter skin for cass, and K-2000 blademaster skin for kiriko. the skins are a let down. you would think because they are robots they would sound like them right? lol.. they could have at least slapped a robot filter and called it a day but nothing is different about it besides the appearance. how about that demon rein skin. it’s a complete beast of a skin but just sounds like normal rein.. where smite and paladins in the other hand. EVERYTHING is unique. effects, abilities, sometimes even the animations, voicelines, some even have unique emotes. the skins in overwatch are really cool. but i dont think they are worth 20 considering some skins are half assed or copy and paste. it is rare when a skin is worth 20 bucks. and btw in smite or paladins the average price for a skin can be 10-15 (sometimes way more but those are usually really unique skins) either this guy hasn’t played many multiplayer games or his goal is to trigger us all xD the only great games are the mythical ones but no shit those skins are great. and you basically get them for 10 bucks with a ton of other great rewards.
This is what pains me about this game, I have never seen a game with more passion into the story, the characters, developement, looks, backgrounds, art, maps, etc... the sheer creativity put into this game is insane, but as with anything that blizzard touches it turns into a spiral of corporate greed.
Awesomenauts had better value for premium skins. For 5-6$ premium skins you got not just the skin but a full rework on voice lines, gfx of some abilities, their killing spree theme song, etc. The legendary skins in OW2 might be better, but DEFINITELY NOT 4x better. Also 66% of the negative reviews on steam have been already stated as from Chinese players because the deal between Netease and Blizzard fell through. So the only way to play OW2 in China now is with a VPN and your ping will be awful. The rest would be from people like me if I bothered to review the game. I wont even buy the battle pass anymore because of the absolute greed of corporate killing the PvE
I like overwatch myself but the point about new players "liking the game and not being able to hate it" is wrong. I tried to get more than 5 of my friends to play the game and all of them instantly thought it was unbalanced, no fun, and overwhelming. Overwatch cosmetics are at best C tier compared to Warframe's and Warframes are priced way fairer. Chazm been rolling in the ball so long his brains have been smoothied to mush. Paladind has better skins. The games on unreal 3 so its graphics are kinda dated but each skin gets custom vfx, voice lines (not few and entire new va) and in some cases kill effects. All that for half the price of overwatch skins.

While I do agree art-wise the skins are just SS tier, there's just no effort elsewhere in the skin. I'm used to Paladins skins having more voice lines, whole new voice actors on a per skin basis, custom kill effects, and custom sound effects as well. But like, when I'm using the Omnic Ana skin and half of her voice lines are just a remixed version to sound more robotic, and then the other half of her voice lines are human sounding asf, that shit screams low effort. The art on that skin though is unlike any I've ever seen.

There is a video about ball techs you should watch, but my tip would be to jump at the EXACT time you hit the wall in ball form, stop pressing w maybe a quarter a second before you do, then you should get the height to piledrive.

Like for example in Paladins, for a 5$ skin, you get a new model, weapon with new effects and sounds and a completly new voice pack made by another voice actor than the hero (for each EPIC skins btw, not even counting the legendary ones). Overwatch skins are good but definitely not the best. this might sound lame but just from the sheer amount of them, fortnite had every game beat. yea theres some lame ones, but the amount of crossover skins, cool designs, fresh designs. they have goth and alt bitches, they have stuff based on like newer fashion trends. emo and punk skins. even stuff for sports fans and shit. and anime shit ofc. and unlike overwatch you actually see these skins constantly. the next game imo is a game called smite, its also a moba but unlike league and dota, this one is a 3rd person where you’re much closer to seeing your characters. the skins in this game are sick. they constantly do themes and just about every skin also changes the way abilities look in-game (4 abilities sometimes more on every character). They’re also cheaper than overwatch skins lmao one issue i have with overwatch skins is how clunky and busy the designs are usuals. they have some really good base designs but it gets ruined by them adding so much unnecessary busy work to an already good base design. its just not that good imo especially now in overwatch 2 cuz im seeing it more often. they’re also just completely overpriced, have no idea how you dont think so. fortnite puts the same amount of work into rigging and animating the skins and they’re still cheaper. overwatch has released recolors of skins (that use the same rigging they just fucking retextured the skin) and they’re still the same price as 20 dollars almost in fact, if you look you can find multiple skins that do just this. 1900 for legendary skins is damn near 20 dollars, in comparison to the industry standard. which is like anywhere from 8-15 dollars. 20 is usually reserved for like idk certain IPs? crossovers and shit. really special skins.
At least 50% of the skins are recolor, which honestly, doesn't take any effort. To recolor a skin takes about 5 minutes, 10 if you want to make sure it is blending well.

Especially considering one is a franchise spanning 20 years with the most downloads on steam as a whole with the highest average playercount. and one has a company that regularly takes dumps on its fans and employees. Illari is perfectly balanced except for her ult cost, needs to be raised a bit. She was op on release because nobody knew how to play against her, shoot the pylon and her heals are shit, there’s a ton of counters to her ult, she’s a great hero and I bet she’s going to get nerfed into the ground just cus the community instantly whined about her
everyone got complacent with Lifeweaver not needing a brain to play against when he released, so now a support needs people to play slightly different around people have lost their minds over a very good character that might need a few tweaks, not blasting to hell like people want

He's never been so wrong. Biggest L take. OW2 is one of the biggest scam in gaming history. Slap 2 in the name, promise a lot of shit, take away every possibility of earning free skins (1 skin per 5 or so months, golden guns are earned in somewhere same time frame), slap in battle pass, make 1 lvl battlepass a hero that is fuking op, make f2p grind for that hero, make f2p new players suffer, never deliver on talents, good pve, less cc, etc., release content in times frames that pleases investors not the audience, when customers become very angry (like when 1 skin cost was 8 month of grind) swap a gigantic mega dildo 3000 for gigantic mega dildo 2000, so they feel happy. All in all, we have been scammed big time
Gameplay is still somewhat good, for some players even better. Not for me though, i'm not a competitive player, climbed up to gm and forgot about it, don't like tryhard. As a tank main playing now is fuking pain, especially with new hero. Haven't played for month, joined qp, found out how broken this shit was, abandonded till fixes or somewhat interesting. Watched pve missions, they are fuking trash holy shit, if given opportuninty i swear community would have done better job.
As for skins, yes they are great, but not all of them and it all comes down to personal taste. I've played some League in the past, and they have way better skins than OW2, also some of dota2 skins are 2 heads above ow2. OW2 skins have so much potentinal but bliz never care much to improve.

said straight doodoo. there are a lot of games that have good skins. a prime example is paladins and smite. not only the skins super unique but it can make characters look like a whole different character. an example could be a a character that is a human. they would have a skin where they are a friggen dragon or demon AND will sound like a dragon or demon which is really cool. they dont only put a lot of effort into the skins but also into voice acting. in overwatch a skin can have a huge different appearance but sound like the default character which is such a waste of potential imo. a good example is the C-445 sharpshooter skin for cass, and K-2000 blademaster skin for kiriko. the skins are a let down. you would think because they are robots they would sound like them right? lol.. they could have at least slapped a robot filter and called it a day but nothing is different about it besides the appearance. how about that demon rein skin. it’s a complete beast of a skin but just sounds like normal rein.. where smite and paladins in the other hand. EVERYTHING is unique. effects, abilities, sometimes even the animations, voicelines, some even have unique emotes. the skins in overwatch are really cool. but i dont think they are worth 20 considering some skins are half assed or copy and paste. it is rare when a skin is worth 20 bucks. and btw in smite or paladins the average price for a skin can be 10-15 (sometimes way more but those are usually really unique skins) either this guy hasn’t played many multiplayer games or his goal is to trigger us all xD the only great games are the mythical ones but no shit those skins are great. and you basically get them for 10 bucks with a ton of other great rewards.

This is what pains me about this game, I have never seen a game with more passion into the story, the characters, developement, looks, backgrounds, art, maps, etc... the sheer creativity put into this game is insane, but as with anything that blizzard touches it turns into a spiral of corporate greed.

Awesomenauts had better value for premium skins. For 5-6$ premium skins you got not just the skin but a full rework on voice lines, gfx of some abilities, their killing spree theme song, etc. The legendary skins in OW2 might be better, but DEFINITELY NOT 4x better.
Also 66% of the negative reviews on steam have been already stated as from Chinese players because the deal between Netease and Blizzard fell through. So the only way to play OW2 in China now is with a VPN and your ping will be awful. The rest would be from people like me if I bothered to review the game. I wont even buy the battle pass anymore because of the absolute greed of corporate killing the PvE

I like overwatch myself but the point about new players "liking the game and not being able to hate it" is wrong. I tried to get more than 5 of my friends to play the game and all of them instantly thought it was unbalanced, no fun, and overwhelming. "Uhh maybe they just have to learn all that" No man some just want to have fun and not learn every damn day like me sadly.

While I do agree art-wise the skins are just SS tier, there's just no effort elsewhere in the skin. I'm used to Paladins skins having more voice lines, whole new voice actors on a per skin basis, custom kill effects, and custom sound effects as well. But like, when I'm using the Omnic Ana skin and half of her voice lines are just a remixed version to sound more robotic, and then the other half of her voice lines are human sounding asf, that shit screams low effort. The art on that skin though is unlike any I've ever seen.

There is a video about ball techs you should watch, but my tip would be to jump at the EXACT time you hit the wall in ball form, stop pressing w maybe a quarter a second before you do, then you should get the height to piledrive.

10:03 I disagree so hard on this. Overwatch skins are soo mid and not worth 15$. Like for example in Paladins, for a 5$ skin, you get a new model, weapon with new effects and sounds and a completly new voice pack made by another voice actor than the hero (for each EPIC skins btw, not even counting the legendary ones). Paladins is way less popular than Overwatch 2 too.

Overwatch skins are good but definitely not the best. this might sound lame but just from the sheer amount of them, fortnite had every game beat. yea theres some lame ones, but the amount of crossover skins, cool designs, fresh designs. they have goth and alt bitches, they have stuff based on like newer fashion trends. emo and punk skins. even stuff for sports fans and shit. and anime shit ofc. and unlike overwatch you actually see these skins constantly.
the next game imo is a game called smite, its also a moba but unlike league and dota, this one is a 3rd person where you’re much closer to seeing your characters. the skins in this game are sick. they constantly do themes and just about every skin also changes the way abilities look in-game (4 abilities sometimes more on every character). They’re also cheaper than overwatch skins lmao
one issue i have with overwatch skins is how clunky and busy the designs are usuals. they have some really good base designs but it gets ruined by them adding so much unnecessary busy work to an already good base design. its just not that good imo especially now in overwatch 2 cuz im seeing it more often. they’re also just completely overpriced, have no idea how you dont think so. fortnite puts the same amount of work into rigging and animating the skins and they’re still cheaper. overwatch has released recolors of skins (that use the same rigging they just fucking retextured the skin) and they’re still the same price as 20 dollars almost
in fact, if you look you can find multiple skins that do just this. 1900 for legendary skins is damn near 20 dollars, in comparison to the industry standard. which is like anywhere from 8-15 dollars. 20 is usually reserved for like idk certain IPs? crossovers and shit. really special skins.
At least 50% of the skins are recolor, which honestly, doesn't take any effort. To recolor a skin takes about 5 minutes, 10 if you want to make sure it is blending well.

Especially considering one is a franchise spanning 20 years with the most downloads on steam as a whole with the highest average playercount. and one has a company that regularly takes dumps on its fans and employees. The 75,000 people who downloaded it on steam are practically the remaining 75k and id bet both my kidneys on it. Also considering people hate the blizzard launcher. FAR more than “5% of the playerbase” went to steam to download it. Being generous and including console id still say at max 150k average players at most.
