The use of an Insulation Tester (often called Megger) is used to determine the level of resistance of a device, part, or object that functions as an insulator of electric voltage and current.
In this video, Ryan, one of PT Radius Allkindo Electric's technical teams, provides an explanation of how to use the 1,000 Volts (1KV) Insulation Tester with measurement resistance of up to 4 Giga Ohms.
In addition to the electrical aspects, the unique technical design and ease of use of the Hioki IR4056-21 Insulation Tester as follow:
1. Safety design where if the tool is not in the OFF position, the tool cover cannot be closed completely to avoid damage to the tool or to the user's risk.
