I absolutely love your humor. Came for the kegging, stayed for the plot. Thank you.
Cheers Dylan!
What do you mean "if anyone is still watching "? Won't turn my back on you in times like these. Stay strong and keep the vids coming bro.
Means a lot GR. Stay good and safe brotha. 🍻 ❤️
This joint was hilarious.. I can't believe I have never watched an H4L video until this one. Cheers.
Cheers braj!
Love the Mega Man music! Actually I really love how nerdy you are with all the old school nes stuff on all your videos. Big fan
Watching this 4 years after posted and thank you! Couldn't figure out why it was so hard to get the connector off....i had swapped the posts
2yr old video still getting comments 👍 awesome. I also run a larger brush down the post holes in the keg before putting the tubes back in. Most of the time there's nothing there because, like you, I clean everything right away. But it doesn't hurt to run a brush through, and it takes like 2 seconds, so it's a no brainer. On brew days I clean as I go so there's less to do when I'm done brewing. I'm liking the channel so far. (I'm new here) Cheers!
Cheers mad max!
Everytime i have a bad day, I just watch one of your vids. Well I picked this one to see how ya clean a corny keg. Good stuff my dude!!
by far and hands down the best homebrew channel. and it's not even close. 💪💪🇺🇸
Newbie at homebrewing here. Stumbled to your channel and think I've watched everyone of them. Awesome, and hilarious content. Keep the vids coming. 👍🍻
Cheers Brandon and thanks for watching!
God!!! I just discovered you guys... NOW I have to watch ALL THE VIDEOS! All of them. Everywhere. Well done gents. (Disclaimer: gents is used very loosely)
Cheers Chuck! Thx for watching braj!
Made my day love these technology style brew making thank you!
Mate I fucking love your comedic approach to this topic
Definitely gunna have to watch the rest of your content after this one
Absolute legend!
This video really helped me out. I really respect how you are giving links to products that you use that works, and how they aren’t paying you.
Cheers Chris!
OG H4L videos rule. Back to these CH!
Ive done 220 videos. Im running on fumes 😢
@@HOMEBREW4LIFE 220 videos of pure gold. Thanks for doing what you do.
Don't worry dude, watching & you're funny AF. I'm laughing every time you wonder if any of us are still watching. Good info bro!
Thank you for the idea of the pipe cutter. I just bought it from Amazon. My stupid ass was going to cut it with a pair of metal clippers, and you saved me! :-) My kegging is backed up something fierce, and I'm happy with this solution. Tom from NJ
glad it worked out tom, cheers!
Appreciate the raw video!
Man, am I glad I found your channel. Every video is made with love, I can tell. As soon as that stimulus check hits the bank, I'm going full send with an all grain system. 🤘
YOU BETTER DOMTRON88
Thank you for the video. Everything I've learned about home brew, diy, and MBC, I learned from you guys. Looking forward to being able to travel again and checking out BattleMage and the other breweries you've mentioned in videos.
Hell yeah eric cheers!
Been watching you for a bit saw you on clawhammers video and came back. I'm glad I did bc just got me a keg system and was clueless on how to clean them and get it ready.
Really useful vid, thanks for taking the time to do it properly. Who'd have believed a keg cleaning video could be so entertaining.
Cheers clive thanks for watching!
solid video braj
Glad I found your video CH, I remembered that you made this, and I needed to be sure it was OxiClean. I started using it and swapped StarSan for PAA since is also WAAAAAAY cheaper and works like a charm.
Been thinking about getting into kegging, but I was intimated by the equipment. Thanks so much for this how to video!!
cheers Trippen best of luck!
Thanks for this video! All this time, I had assumed that just soaking Star San in my kegs would be enough to clean them. I would run some Co2 into the keg and pump out water, thinking that the Star San would sanitize everything. I disassembled one of my kegs and took out the dip tube and ran a brush through it. Wow, was it filthy! Now, I'm going to clean every one of my kegs thoroughly to ensure that they're 100% sterile when I pump in my homebrew.
Gracias CH for another dope HB4L installment.
I go (OCD) one step further and clean out the PRV because maybe the Mormon Utah water but my PRV's get stuck open, usually when I'm already low on gas.
Good point on cleaning the dip tubes - I need to do that more often. I want that little pick tool you have. Covid blows. Enough of my ramblings...
Thanks for the shout out.
Cheers - George
Cheers my dude. Stay safe!
Great video. Very helpful for a new home brewer like myself. Oh and Bro I watched to the very end. Ill have to look at the shirts for sure.
Always great info thanks braj
Much love braj!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
You're welcome!
Initially, I'm like...this guy is high, but when he said that carbonated Sangria was "super damn good", confirmed... rock on Garth. Great vid... ppl need to watch this.
Been putting off cleaning my kegs. Thanks for the walk through. Love the vids. The wife and I would really like to see the Sangria brew!
Thanks for watching pieter!
Came for the keg cleaning steps, stayed for the Chrono Trigger and Megaman tunes. 500% subscribed.
Nice catch, cheers Alex!
Love the vids. Either format is fine!
Cheers matt!
Great video. As usual. I have years of these to catch up on. Bloody Covid eh. I remember those days!
Thats a nice vid to watch (also the format) to make the quarantine easier to go, cheers brother
idle hands are the devils youtube!
By far the best and most entertaining keg cleaning vid out there! Cheers braj!
Cheers braj!
Great Vid. I’ve been kegging beer for a few months and never heard of a few of the tips you had. You guys are great. Good luck with the quarantine!
Thanks for watching braj! be safe in these times!
I’m just starting out I have an old keg this was great information. !!!!
Cheers perry!
great video dude! cant wait to see more from you!
Thx for watching braj, cheers!
I shouldn't admit this but I have never cleaned my dip tube. Thank you for giving me the confidence in thoroughly cleaning my dip tube.
You don't need to do it everytime. I just always do it when i score a cheap corny off craigslist
Basically like a real time how to! Super good! Authentic and entertaining Braj! Carbonated Sangria sounds dope
Yeah buddy cheers to better times ahead!
Dope videos!
Well, I guess I'm starting to brew beer this winter. UA-cam... you did it again!
Great videos! Thanks for all the great information. Keep the videos coming :)
Welcome back patrick!

Dm ur address. I wanna send you a pin
11:42 Is this thing Crooked! LMFAO!!! Serious... love the random pause tangent of thoughts. LOL
Still waiting on that Sangria video! Thanks for the tutorial.
Cheers!
I was given a corny keg along with all my brewing equipment from my brother in-law, so thanks for this. I won't miss all the "nooks and crannies" of that keg now. Another great piece from this, is he gave me PBW and I was wondering if there was a more cost effective alternative, and just over a minute there it was. Thanks! I'm so happy I stumbled onto your videos, the really are great!
Cheers WR!
Tank and line cleaner... 50# bucket for like 80 bucks. On Amazon
This was a great one! When you had the heavy rain, I was getting serious homebrew ASMR vibes. Could be your next one!
Cheers!
Great video, exactly what I needed after buying some dirty kegs on Craigslist!
Ive been there cheers!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
This is a fantastic video! I am a new home brewer and the information is helpful. Will be saying more content from this channel 🎉🍺
Cheers Tim!
Currently cleaning my corny keg while religiously rewinding this video, cheers Brahj!
Cheers HP!!!
@@HOMEBREW4LIFE HERE HERE CH!
That's really cool! Thanx!!
Glad you like it!
The Chrono Trigger music really made this video for me. 10/10
Love your channel !
Thanks for watching cheers Shane!
I found a gun barrel cleaning rope (small gauge rope with two brass weighted ends) perfect for cleaning dip tubes. Cost £1 from military surplus, even chucked in some cloth. Will last forever👍🏻
Mate you are absolutely hilarious 😂 👍
Cheers Stu!
Cheers Braj! Maybe nows a good time for me to tackle that kegerator project I've been putting off..
more deer hunting videos please!
Still waiting for the sangria vid! Great content, cheers.
I like the acoustic beer chug.
Cheers dicky!
The asides...>.ROFL . Loved the video, keep bringing them.
cheers Sean!
More of these vids please. 🍻
Cheers tom!
Fridge full of beer sounds pretty good right now. Stay safe, braj - it’s a weird time to be alive.
Enjoyed the video! You should do one of these for each step of the process.
thank you for watching
3 keggle brew system in the background? Let's see some of that.
I like any format you got. Dont stress the production so much. We are here for the knowledge and entertainment first. Love the videos. Keep em coming.

Good job, Mr. Hardy. You weren't on UA-cam when I started brewing in 1985.
Norm Hardy ha i was born 1/4/85
Video Format Opinion:
Hi brother. I'm a professional brewer at Big Boss Brewing in Raleigh, NC and also an amateur gaming UA-camr (shameless channel plug). Wanted to share my 2 cents about the new format since you asked. My personal opinion, I'm into it. This was far more informative than other videos and even though you still cracked jokes and had fun with it, it seemed far more professional. Although I enjoyed watching previous episodes, I thought the format was a little too "old school Epic Meal Time" if you catch my meaning. I think the newer format is a better balance for people that want to seriously learn while still being entertained. Thanks for all you do! Looking forward to the next episode!
yeah usually our videos are like 90% voice over with b roll, but this new solo production / quarentine one man show was 0% v/o is a lot longer. Thanks for the feedback!
@@HOMEBREW4LIFE you went more in depth, gave practical, cost effective solutions, and I think you did a great job of making it understandable for even a novice. Well done
i used to work at a small brewery as a cellerman and we would use oxy clean for our small canning line..
Watched the whole video and I don’t even own a corny keg lol. HB4L always hits when I get off work with a cold one
Just cracked another one too! cheers braja!
HOMEBREW 4 LIFE update: snagged some off offerup. I am doing the switch from bottles to keg #thankyoustimuluscheck. I got 2 of them and the insides looks pretty sticky on the walls. Would you recommend scrubbing it with a sponge with warm water and PBW ? Or should I use my carboy brush?
Bottling is hell
Your forgot the PRV my man. Unlikely to need a clean but i always have a look now and again.
Nothing wrong with this format, very enjoyable. Slainte, from ireland 🇮🇪
cheers from san diego!
Right on
Cheers Ryan!
watched every minute while we were sitting around getting our drink on
Cheers my dude!
So Oxyclean does work good but if you add some TSP/90 cleaner in there too it works like 2 times better(only need about 30% ration of TSP to oxyclean). It does a much better job at breaking down oils which Oxiclean can have an issue with. Its the two main ingedients in PBW. Great video all around.
11:15 Unedited manditory beer chug! LMAO... Rolling on the floor. Dude I'm watching these nearly a year later from Temec SoCAL...love the vids. Extremely helpful! Maybe do a SoCal top ten brewery vid as we get closer into opening up this State.
I miss da old title BUT ya boi did just get a corny keg and we ready 4 dat clean 😎😎🥶
Dude brand new keg and it wont pour my super dry hopped NEIPA... Circumcising the drip tube solved that, thanks braj!!
10:50 Thanks for being proud of me dad! Cheer to you. Drinking a Pilsner w/ American Hops instead of German. Tasty. Long format is fine. You're right...we are bored. What else is there to do?
Cheers Nicholas!
I’m late but I always love the jrpg songs.
Cheers chris!
Love all your videos. I've brewed before at my buddies house but just bought my own rig this week so I've been watching the shit out of your videos all week! Thanks for all the info man! PS did you ever up that video of the carbonated sangria? sounds tasty
Carbonated Sangria video on route!
Super clean video.... But where is the carbonated sangria video??
Wrist watch quote comes out about 3 times a year at this point in my life. My kids have no idea what I'm on about. What's a Chachi?
Cool, helpful video!...did you make that carbonated sangria video??👍🏽
I wish I saw this a couple months ago. Seems like I got it right tho. If you flatten the loop on the brush, you can twist a length of wire to it and pull the brush all the way thru. No worry about crud in the middle.
💯💯💯
What about the oring on the poppet valves for the gas/liquid posts?
I watched the entire video! I like this style. Keep up the good work! Have you every tried "Keg lube "when assembling your kegs? I use it and things seem to fall into place a little better and no air leaks. Looking forward to your next video!
I'll look into it. Cheers brotha!
Can't wait for carbed sangria!
gonna be drinking some later! Cheers tom
@@HOMEBREW4LIFE any chance the carbed sangria recipe is available somewhere?
Bro Loved your vid, learned alot from this video!
Do you ever remove the top and bottom cover? I scored a couple of kegs and the top/bottom covers is vomit bacteria city.
Previous owner left gaps in the glue and bacteria built up in between the spaces, is a hell of a job to get the crap out :(
Any tips for SERIOUSLY dirty kegs (inside)
Great video! I know others have asked... and you said you were working on it... but where might I find that carbonated sangria video? =) Cheers!
Heads up that the brushes in the link are actually only 8 inches long now. But it's get you to Amazon and you will see 10 - 12" brushes for just a few dollars more.
Sick videos. Watching from Australia.
Any chance you could do a video explaining how the addition of hops and times of addition affect the final flavour of the beer. Your honest, DIY way of doing things is sweet. Dark ale, Vegemite beer experiment would be a sick vid too... might taste like shit!
Great idea!
Nice shirt!
Thx for watching! Cheers!
After looking for a bit I didn't see anyone address the different color O-rings. One of the small colored O-rings are for pin lock kegs. Red is for pin lock, and teal is for corny kegs.
What up CH! H4L! Q about PRV in corny keg. How often do you replace if at all? Do you clean those? Thanks bro!
No need to replace it cheers!
Just wanted to say this is the most informative channel I have come across being a new home brewer, I did have a quick question though, I was wondering if there is a difference between Oxiclean and Oxiclean free? Does it matter? Thank you!
just use the non scented stuff, cheers braj!
like theis style but love the brew days
same, cant wait until this apocolypse is over
