I love this game and have played it since the start. You are the only person on youtube who I have found that is in anyway good at the game. Subscribed!
I really don't think two pillars is necessary early on, In EL that extra science doesn't help you outside of tier 1. Your supposed to use your science early on to get village square to parley the minor factions around you and do quests to get loads of strategics and eliminate death threats. Haunts - Daemons = game over if you don't eliminate them as soon as possible. Ardent mage units are the wimpiest units in the game at start and 1 daemon can kill 2-3 of your units alone. For rushing tech order i'd go Language square, mill foundry, library, empire mint, topograhy, cultivation, Zealots, alchemical metallurgy and Merc market. You need to build your empire up early because it determines your rank in the game overrall. With your build you will have no empire after early and the person you rush. I would certainly LOVE to host a joint multiplayer series with several other youtubers/streamers involved. I already know two guys that might be interested in such a thing, I'm looking for more. My goal is to play a full game with all players talking over skype/teamspeak/whatever and then have each of us post our individual points of view. That would be great but I hesitate to do it with less then 5 players. I'm also very careful with who to bring to the show since I'd like to avoid having players that behave in an immature way or who have poor quality microphones. In addition to that, I also plan to host regular games with regular subscribers on regular basis after EL is released. Some of them will be recorded, some of them will not. But all of this has to wait until I'm back from Korea ~_^ ...or until some rich princess buys me a gaming laptop and a room to record in Seoul. Then it's another story ;P
panczasu could you play a full game without explaining everything again and again? you explain this game in every single playthrough you do and i really cant hear it anymore. i would love to watch your videos but hearing the same explanations over and over again is really exhausting
