    "I feel like I'm on the outside looking... only at the outside really because that's all I can see" being directed at the rest of the system is honestly so relatable for me right now hahaha

      Feels like silent treatment sometimes. I try to understand that they are doing it for a reason.

    Thanks for talking about this! Good to know I'm not the only host/system struggling with an innerworld and meeting place, etc.

    • @TheBagSystem

      Far from it. The host has a tougher job than we give ourselves credit for... and we are left out of things in the process as well.

    "Go to your happy place" is a concept that have been very hard for me, all my life. Finding out I'm dissociative is hard too, but it overwrites the quote. Now i know why I didn't want to, or didn't create one before... It's kinda of a scary and eire place, but I'm ready to heal, and bring love to myself

    The idea of both creating your own space with others' influences and inviting them in, as well as using the outer world to connect are both really interesting. We're very excited to try this, thank you so much for this video

    Hi, I'm Cloud the LTH (long term host), and yeah, I'm the one that chitty chats (some think too much).
    I have been granted a overhead view (like 'google' maps) of, I'm guessing about 1/3 of the inner world.
    There's a fantastic meadow a km wide(?) and 2-3 km long(?) with a stream with forest on either side.
    There's a playground with sand and swings for the littles.
    And there's a house much like the Weasley's from Harry Potter.
    Their sun rises and sets just like in the outer world, or that is the idea.
    I like what you have presented and when I 'voiced' that I'm out of the loop, they are like "How can you be out of the loop? We've been sharing the trauma so you can help us with that through the counselor". I am curious if they don't want me to 'see' more than what they think I should see for my own protection?
    Anyway, the idea of a place to talk to the others without it being a voice from within would allow for better, more effective communication.
    Thanks for this. Be Well and Stay Safe. Kindly, Cloud

      Hi Cloud. Thanks for sharing what you know of your inner world and of your communication. Maybe your headmates don’t realize what you need and why? Sometimes we might assume that since we share a mind that they must automatically know, but it might be useful to make your feelings on your thoughts and needs more clear.

    • @5of9

      @@TheBagSystem Thank you for your thoughts on this. Agreed, one of the things that happens with me is that I feel that I AM JUST THE HOST. Yet, I also have to remember that when they considered replacing me, the job of host isn't as easy as it seems and requires balance with those in the outer world. And I was created exactly for this job, so it is important. Yet, I have to not try to know more than I should as it can be overwhelming. So this will be something to talk about with our counselor. Thank you again. Best wishes to you as you continue to work with your system in it's trek towards health. Kindly, Cloud

    I'm so sad for you that you feel left out. I hope your room idea has worked. This video has been soo helpful and different than others I've seen. You are so pike me with what you know and don't know like the pen and pad by the bed.

    This person is so lovable. I would love to be part of her world. If this person is not successful in making those in the inner world contact her, those individuals are not worth the trouble.

    I think I'm gonna try again, I feel empowered by your dedication to develop communication. I tried without believing in me, I guess I'm gonna work on that first^^ I think the way you do it is respectful and not in a rush, I learned a lot from you so thank's for sharing your journey with us. Everyone, take care and share your truth, we love you!

      Video.Officially.Worth.It...
      That’s amazing. I hope for you and your system that you can find communication. Sometimes it takes a series of gentle but persistant nudges ;)

    • @5of9
      @5of9 3 роки тому +2

      Hi Weeckek! It's about patience. For us, it took time to learn this and they (the other headmates) created a video for me (LTH) to not be afraid for they took (my place during the 'incidents' and the memories) so that I wouldn't know until 'the time was right'. They said that they did so out of love. They waited for me to be ready (for years) and so it is only fair that I be just as patient with the and show them that they are important and loved. Best wishes as you move forward in your journey towards healing. Be Well and Stay Safe. Kindly, Cloud

      I'm new too... Hope you're doing well?
      I find, that videos about cPTSD, can be healing i periods, (periods where i have a person that 'just' listens to my reflections) - and videos about the psychology behind childhood trauma.
      They're triggering, so be sure to have at least one, empathic person in your social network.
      You're worth so much, and wish you well 🤍

    We have. Inner world and our host can kinda of go into it our host holds a lot of trauma so sometimes she has a horrible break down and can’t front for a couple months (not on purpose at least) in this time the host can get access to this inner world in a few spots like just her room and the rehab room and the garden I think and there is very few alters she can interact with but when she comes back she feels it was just a dream and doesn’t rember it as a inner world - Max Evan and Jules

    • @TheBagSystem
      @TheBagSystem  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Max, Even and Jules, or whoever reads. Thats interesting. Thank you for this comment. I wonder sometimes how much confusion there can be between inner world scenarios and the world. It seems there’s so much happening inside that can be so vivid.

    • @starrysystem601

      @@TheBagSystem going to be honest here I completely froget about this comment but yes a lot of things can get very vivid it’s kinda weird how it works in our host has been the host since we where little kids. We had a lot of trauma of course but from many many parts including school. So although host did not get bad bad trauma they still got a bit of everything I guess even if just a tiny bit it does get super overwhelming

    Thank you for being courageous and sharing so openly and genuinely! I truly feel for you because you are so honest and open with what you are going through every step of the way. I respect the boundaries you set and how well you explain everything you are going through 9n both your channels. I only just found you and subbed to both, and just wanted to let you know and also tell you I see you and care and wish the best for you and your system! 💓💓💓 I have been wondering, thinking for about a year, that it is a possibility that I may have DID. I dissociate and lose time, but if I do have alters..all I can say us they are doing a VERY good job at hiding it from me!

    • @TheBagSystem
      @TheBagSystem  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for taking an interest in what we have to say.
      DID is very hidden. If it weren’t for a new trauma in 2019, I may never have had the symptoms get too big to ignore and so obvious.
      There are more signs to DID than switching. Maybe you could find a professional willing to give you the MID assessment interview created by Paul Dell. It’s very comprehensive with the signs of DID that aren’t yet in the DSM but is being used by many in the field.
      We also have a podcast that you can find at thebagsystem.com
      The third episode describes more detail of what DID is and what it’s like.
      Glad to have you with us. I hope that you can find your answers.

      He was a kind person, but I think was very ignorant as to how to treat DID compared to other forms of dissociation. He wasnt flexible with it.

    You seem to have a sensible plan, Mel. And who is more approachable than you? 💚
    in the canyons of our mind
    we wander on and stumble blind
    thru the often tangled maze
    of starless nights and sunless days,
    asking for some kind of clue
    some road to lead us to the truth
    but who will answer? 🧡

    This may be late in the coming, but for a couple decades we (my bits before they became me, and a gatekeeper) stapled a host to the front. It's possible that you were intentionally barred in some way, perhaps by someone who no longer exists.
    It may be good for you, but sad fact - not all gatekeepers do their job well. Some are intentionally poisonous.
