Nenhuma novidade já que ele era fã do Sepultura e o Corey também, o Roots é um dos albums preferido do Corey, se vc reparar tem muita música do Slipknot que lembra demais o album roots
It is. I mean there are lots of heavier genres. Like death, grind, black, war,etc but there's something in this song. The rawness, the genuine anger, the explosiveness, the power, the fucking scream. One of the hardest, heaviest song ever produced.
for anyone that thinks this was a dead crowd you werent there and didnt feel the energy of the show. this wasnt a typical concert but a once in a lifetime event you can never see again. i was there. there was 5 ppl moshing at random times. everyone was focused on the ppl on stage in amazement, cheering, singing and head banging along to all those great stars on stage. the crowd was mostly older concert goers 30s 40s plus with a few younger ones like myself 24 at the time. tickets were like $80-90ish dollars each (which then was insane price), and it was a stormy raining shitty night in NYC too. i tried to mosh at one point myself but no one was into it and admittedly i wasnt either after a min or 2 i just wanted to watch, headbang and sing along. there was also this 6 foot 3ish dude throwing jumping axe kicks like an asshole and no one wants to deal with that at this show, possibly getting into a fight, and getting kicked out missing everything else. it was also a very chill event overall and none of the videos show between songs jamie jasta hosting talking to the crowds about the band they are covering with the next song while they played a mini hits video on that screen that kept going up before each song. it also help them change out all the equipment for all the different artists there. some asshole was yelling at Jamie the whole show going "where is your fucking thumb jaime" over and over between each song. Jamie was a fucking pro ignored the guy and did his job hyping up the next bands song that was gonna be covered while singing some of them himself.
Save the bs. The crowd is dead and doesn't deserve a show with all those legends performing live. Fucking bunch of ungrateful bastards. We idolise these guys and they know it that's why they love coming to see us in Britain. You can say what you want, but I've heard too many of these guys say they love European shows because the ENERGY is so strong compared to America that it doesn't even come close to comparison
Machine head done something similar in Glasgow 2011. Rob screamed DO YOU WANT IT LOUDER!! We shouted back hell yeah.... the fuckin noise was defining my ears where ringing for 3 days after that concert. I was standing right next to the speakers, and they were 20 feet tall. I'll never forget it what an experience 🏴🤘😁🤘🏴
I later came to realise that was machine heads last tour with roadrunner records, so he played longer than he should have and played a lot louder than he should, especially davidian, that was something else. He kicked the absolute shit out of Glasgow that night. Magnificent moments like that will make memories that last a lifetime
@StoreRunDotCom I've never been to Newcastle. It's supposed to be amazing for the nightlife. A lot of my family and friends say that as well as some famous people too
Ta bom parabéns! O MAX CAVALEIRA VOCES NÃO PASSA A FRENTE nem UM POUCO! OUÇO SEPULTURA DESDOS 11 ANOS HOJE TENHO 36 . PARABÉNS MAIS CADA UM COM SUA MÚSICA 👏
I am 61 now and consider myself an OG of Metal. Saw my first concert as a little kid when my aunt (was a state trooper for Utah) and uncle took me to see Sabbath on the Masters of Reality tour. I also saw Alice Cooper, Three Dog Night and Deep Purple. I knew right then and there what music I loved. From then on, it has been nothing but metal/hard rock. I never considered Anthrax as Metal. I saw them several times in large shows...in Europe while stationed in NATO. This is Metal right here man!
See Corey screaming out loud "ROOOTS BLOODY ROOOOTS" make my day better
Yeah. Best vocalist so far. And the same corey changes his vocals in stone sour. Love him.
I think the craziest thing about all these performances is how young everyone looks!
Stay young. Creators have to.
I dunno.. kinda crazy no Max&Igor
Yeah, you can tell where Andreas stands. Maybe they used some youth potion or something?
This is metal brother
'cause it was 18,5 years ago)
Robb Flynn definitely suits this song like a charm.
Not at all...Max all the way gtfo wit that shit...it ain't bad but No comparison to Max
@@notagain5912 Oh, sorry I hurt your feelings Mr. Closed Mind Die Hard Fan, there there.

He definitely did the song justice
Paul Gray will forever have the most recognizable and iconic headband.
Ок.
That leaned forward bang!?!?
Definitely agree, but think Phil Bozeman's headbang with be right up there with him. Dude puts his entire upper body into it
Literalmente por eso supe que era él
I argue Jason Newsted
So many artists on stage together, priceless
Where's Max though!?

RIP Peter Steele, as being one of the first big acts of Roadrunner Records.
This the metal music equivalent to MCU. Roadrunner was really ahead of its time back then.
If UA-cam's algorithm is apparently so good, why am I only seeing this one for the first time?
Absolutely love this.
The amount of times I've typed roadrunner united into the search bar breh
Same in 2024 😳😒
Seeing in 2024, bro, doing the same question... Fckng amazing!
Slipknot,Fear Factory,Killswitch engage,Anthrax,Machine Head...melhor Roots bloody Roots da história,com certeza!
Like al the bands. Except Sulpultra. . Al I got to say...
Certeza, faltou só o soulfly do Max ali
In my opinion that’s a heavy metal army full of badasses
You forgot Divine Heresy
And StoneSour
Without a doubt one of the greatest jams ever made in metal.
What a time to be alive such a beautiful moment!

I love sepultura's performances so much !
LoL
They sound just like the recording. If the main singer could just keep his mouth shut.. Sepultra /Ozzy.

Joey and Paul 🤘🖤🤘 need I say more
The Best Choir EVER.
I love this version. Everyone's screaming their arses off!
such a big fat sound with layered guitars, vocals, everything!
This is just SINISTER! I worked hundreds of Gigs as a Stagehand in the 90s. Few of them had the energy this has.
Paul Gray with his iconic headbanging...and Joey Jordison with his iconic grooves....it is really cool tho...
love how scott ian does his stomps while playing

My favourite part is Jesse Leach giving it 10,000% with his screams in the outro.
I know we will all say it, but RIP Paul and Joey man, still so tragic 💔 this was an amazing performance... and "Fuuuck Monte Conner" 😂
