Dick's daughter Alicia, who died over 20 years ago, started a chapter of Amnesty International at her High School. She was 17 at the time. She would have loved this video. She was an amazing girl. Please share this video as one step toward understanding of others--something that is sorely missed in this political climate.
I watched the video and it was great and I couldn't hold myself crying how beautiful it is to live in peace How beautiful is love, peaceful coexistence, and respect for religions and cultures
The most beautiful thing in life is to communicate with those around you and make your relationship continuous and enjoyable in order to live freely and with dignity
You're watching propaganda. They want you to think with your emotions instead of logic about the migrant crisis that is happening to many Western nations.
I appreciate the sentiments, but Germany really hasn't really been doning the right thing in not doing any background checks on its "refugees" in order to tell which actually are refugees.
I saw the video. I wept a little bit and I was moved. Then I read the comments. I wept a little bit and I was moved. first time I felt that we actually all live in peace. second time because of how much people are quick to judge by looks, sex, riligon and ethnicity. #SadStory
judging from comments, i get the impression that folks tend to miss that this 4-minute experiment is not about discussing politics but about learning about the person. for example, what foods he or she likes or dislikes, what he or she wants for herself and/or family - the personal stuff like education, making a living, etc. in short, the idea is to demonstrate how much more we are alike as individuals, not members of this or that political/cultural group.
The whole point of this matter glosses over the risks of unfettered immigration. Native women are raped, just today it's reported a refugee hostel was burned down because a refugee wasn't sufficiently alerted about Ramadan. It's very risky for Europe, and holding an exercise where people look into each other's eyes misses the far greater matter completely.
you are of course right about there being crimes committed by some immigrants, and those individuals must be captured and handled according to law. but blaming or punishing all immigrants does not resolve anything. that 4-minute exercise is just one approach to handling the immigrant situation, the point of this approach being to enable people on both sides of the issue to learn a bit about each other; it is not intended as a denial of the negative effects of mass immigration. this is a multi-faceted issue and needs multi-faceted handling, but it can be done humanely.
Need to understand the culture, religion, feelings and values of others all are respectable and deserve equal right to live in this world with peace and love.
A lovely video in its own right. However, the fact it was produced by an activist organization for the purpose of advancing a political agenda makes it shameless emotional manipulation. The implication that someone not in favor of mass immigration is simply heartless and cruel is incredibly offensive.
