for the people who don't understand why the kid is so angry at the start, the short hints that the kid thought his mom got the dog to mock him (he says "you gotta be kidding me") and you have to realize a child like this will grow up with so many constant reminders of their disability. so he essentially thought this dog was just another way to remind him he's disabled, but he eventually realizes the dog is there to show him that his disability won't hold him back.

The FILM is BEAUTIFUL,not just in the way it has been made(the technical aspect ,of which I know little )but also the theme comes out beautifully . Both emotions ,of the characters and mine are evoked during the film . I thank the people behind this "very short film" ,which successfully served its purpose . It has inspired me just like how the puppy inspires the boy .

One of the best pets I ever had was a three-legged rat. She was missing a foreleg just like this puppy, but she never let it hold her back. She had so much lust for life that when she got sick and wasted away to skin and bones she still refused to give up and made a full recovery - something I have *never* seen a rat do in twenty plus years of being a rat owner.
My cat went missing mysteriously, and even though we asked street after street about her... nobody saw anything... It has been 2 weeks.... She's old and deaf, so I'm afraid she went off somewhere to... die.
