@Wenomechainsama I've owned both a 991 GT3 and a Lotus 410. The GT3 does 90% of the work for you. It covers your mistakes and the PDK great box is lightning quick. The Lotus is so much harder to drive quickly. There's so much more to driving quickly in a manual car on track than just steering. My assessment of the two cars - you wanna go fast without having to work that hard, by a Porsche. Alternatively, if you wanna drive fast and really learn how to drive, buy a Lotus.
not half the price tho, 114000euro - 144000euro for the 410 sport. Porsche rs 188000euro with not that many options besides carbon ceramics but other than that it has everything from standard. Not that much difference as you can see, I'de still take that Lotus over the Porsche tho, it's just another world, nothing is comparable. I had an s2 with 15k in Komotec mods and sold it recently, a day after I was already missing it and felt bad so now looking to buy a 350 exige but preferable if I have the cash a 410 sport like this.
that's really good proper driving a manual gearbox sportscar. too many modern cars take away the real driving experience, but this Lotus looks nimble, fun and enough engine torque to have a nice driving experience.
I’ve had an S2 Elise & Exige…Currently drive. 911 992 Carrera S & can tell you Exige was the best handling of all of them👍..never driven an S3 Exige V6 though….
Awesome. Nice driving. My thought is that the Exige seems harder to drive at the limit. Anyway the RS still seems a bit above despite its bigger weight. I would really like to drive both cars and push them to the limit on the track. The RS is a surgical tool but the Exige should provide more fun
The Exige has about zero electronical helpers, so yeah, it is mich more skill and feeling needed to drive it as gast as possible 😅 But it’s pure driving and you know you did the good lap and not any helpers that are hiding some construction problems with the chassis.
The GT3RS has power steering, abs, lsd and PDK. But all modern 911's are smoother than all Exiges. Some people prefer the more raw cars that make you work for the performance. The Evora's are smoother than the Exiges.
Very, very nice and committed driving. Liked it! Your car seems very well tuned. Would you mind to share your Nitron 3 Way and anti-roll bar settings? That would be greatly appreciated Dale!
@@dale_6507 Wow. Ok, I, must confess I'm a bit surprised that your car is on factory settings. But it's great news, with some tweaks there might be some room for improvements. Thanks for your Answer Dale. Can't wait to watch the next video with the Exige 😄
Terrific at limits driving
Cadwell never ceases to scare the crap outta me, especially with traffic.
Just amazing..
Such a drive handling i'd never imagine to have ^^
I'll receive my 410 tomorrow :)
Hope to play with it like that one day
A driver against a robot 👍
Put in a sequential gearbox and you will pass all Gt3😉
Not so sure. The Porsche just walks away on the straights.
do robots steer for you these days ???

@@davidsherley2652 It's PDK and has 80-90 more horsepower!
I have a 410 and impressed you kept the RS within sight!
A few modifications and the 410 is a very serious track car. Fast non the less straight from the factory.
Awesome, well done, love the exige at half the price.....want

Great driving. Enjoyed that!
Nice drive by both, very entertaining
Both gt3 and exige drivers did great. Have to credit the gt3 for pushing it that hard on this track and leading.

Anyway, such a great battle :-)

Nice Save!
brilliant driving mate.nice nice piece of steering!
Great driving!
Beetle pulls away on the straight where it has more power but on the brakes the exige really pulls it back in.
Great chase and race
That right hander at the end is nawwwsty!
What a great and lovely car … the Lotus!!!
GT3 drive seemed to be a bit smoother than the Exige

You're not German by any chance are you?
I like chasing onboard videos
The Porker is showing it's weight there :) Can't be simple lightweight engineering.
Still the king
Musclée la petite bagarre avec la porsche 👍
Think a cup 430 would've had him with the extra power and downforce

Thanks!
It’s the standard set up never had it checked could be anything 😂

ridden cadwell on yamaha r1 1999. twisty and blind corners, very narrow. cars have it easy
What exhaust is that? I’m about to start tracking my exige 410
What is this track?! Gorgeous!!
Cadwell Park circuit in Cadwell, GB
Impressive driving. Caught him in every corner. What was your lap time?
Not sure didn’t get a clear lap and the lap timer wasn’t working
