Fitting heated grips to a KTM 390 Adventure
In this video, I take you through how to connect heated grips to your KTM Adventure or Duke. Including how to connect to the existing switched accessory wiring (ACC1 and ACC2 Ports). The simple way. This also avoids the risk of draining your battery. You don't need a flat battery.
We connect to the switched front accessory wiring ports, the positive wire is Blue with an orange stripe, the negative is Black with a yellow stripe.
The koso/apollo/whites solution is a good alternative to the Oxford Hot Grips, because these is no bulky controller box on the handle bars and they are cheaper that the Oxford controller less version.
If you suffer from Raynaud's phenomena where you get white finger and extremely cold hands heated grips will definitely help you.

Very impressive job. Well done! The result is very subtle compared with the Oxford's suggestion on heated grips. These are from White? That's the name of the company? Plus can you change spare parts? For example if the grip is getting old can u change only the grip or you need a new set? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Yes the company is called whites. These are also sold under other names, such as Apollo in the US.
If a grip needs changing or there is a fault, I think unfortunately you would have to change the whole thing, so they are not so maintainable 🤦‍♂️

Hi, the controller and the cables are waterproof where they exit the controller. The connectors for control inputs are sealed the heater ones are not.
