Will this motor fit in a c7 stingray?

It’s the same engine, lt1 but stroked and bore to a 480 ci

Yes, we can do them wet sump or dry depending on what your car has

How in the Hell did you get to 480 cubic inches
Bored .030 over and stroked to 4.125 is still only 435 ci
Bore would need to be 4.30” with a 4.125 stroke to get to 480

It is a sleeved block, bore is 4.185 and it was a custom crank at 4.350...custom pistons, and modified rods. I believe we have a few write ups about the engine on Corvette form as well as our web blog. Done 2 LT's like this and working on a similar build with a LS setup for a Corvette.

@@HorsePowerResearch Surprised with that huge stroke and NA that the Torque was that much lower than HP
Will be interesting to see how that huge stroke holds up.Seems like it would be rattling out of the bottom of the bore. How much did you extend the bore with the sleeves?

@@kyleallen3857 Biggest reason is probably cam selection. It has a rather large sized cam as the plan was to move to a shorter running intake for higher RPM power so you are going to lose a bit of low and mid range with that. Darton sleeves are a good bit longer than the OE ones, typically they are 0.400" longer or so. We have been doing big stroke stuff for years, many of which are road racers. So that said, we do all of the piston design and have worked on this for years to help them hold up season after season.

May i know the CR for this motor, I’m very close to order short block from HPC but I’m thinking to go high CR like 15 or 16

HPC did the final assembly but based off info at the time it should be around 13.8:1 since it was dedicated E85. Going super high on compression like you stated is going to require a spec fuel, and with an engine of this size, probably not suggested to use the OE block at that level if you are going to run something that high.

@@HorsePowerResearch i contacted HPC regarding 480CID they can customize 16-17 CR. To be honest still didn’t go further details regarding the short block but i will put your advice in mind, actually i have boosted 840whp C7 but I’m thinking to switch back to N/A and fight to world record specially after I ordered Samsonas sequential trans so i think it will be good combo i just wanna make sure I’m in the correct route, i will do custom camshaft for this engine for sure
