- A second edition video showcasing how to use your resin burner along with a few tricks and optional ways to use with and without charcoal.
A safer way to burn incense is with a butane or rechargeable burner. Here is a link below.

Instead of using the foil maybe try to reuse the candle holder after its burnt out. Fire proof and thin enough.
Thanks for the info.
You placed it on the charcoal too early
True - should wait for it to turn grey.
HEY DOLL....I searched this yt page...couldn't find a comment that mentioned this.....it's a BRIQUETTE...NOT A BRISKET.....now doesn't everything make more sense?
Tongs to light!

Does using sand make the resin holder less hot??
You know the clay oil burners, would I be able to pop my resin on there to burn? With a foil lining to save the surface?
Can you burn bakhoor on the aluminum foil method
I want one of the indian electric incense (barkoor) burners.
This is everyones English teacher after school hahahahahahaha your awesome
Also could you tell me where to find the rechargeable incense burner instead of the butane one??? Tysm!!!!
Love your torch!! What’s the name so I can find it? Thank you :)
Love these incense burners! The one I use on the video is a butane incense burner. They can be hard to find as they sell out quickly. There also are newer models that are rechargeable. A bit more pricey. We've got some on order for our shop, www.riversbendsanctuary.com but they haven't come in yet. You should be able to find them on Etsy and possibly Ebay or Amazon although all platforms are getting iffy with these kinds of items.
Hai, how about use a powder incence? it can works with that long burner?
4:39 is used incorectly. you need to wait until it is white
It was a helpful video, thank you
How do you clean the resin burner? I have the Sam black burner, but I didn't use the grate, turned over to hold it. I put the charcoal IN the center, then added a bunch of the granules, lit it and the granules melted and are sticking. I scraped them out though.
I'd be trying some isopropyl alcohol. If not then some pure orange oil.
If the frankincense in the butane thing melts then how does it not break. And melt through the thing inside it
I used to flip mines over to hold the disc but i turned it over to the original way and it burns better with the little black n gold
I’ve tried the charcoal with myrrh and my resin just burns instead of melts and then my whole house is just smoky burnt smell. I tried using tinfoil on charcoal and the same thing happened. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. The only thing I can think is that the charcoal gets so hot it just burns the resin. Any thing I can do differently? I’m new to this resin. I expected to smell more like when I burn incense cones not a burned smell.
Hi Cheryl! Could be lower quality myrrh or that you're just not used to the resin. I like using the butane burners better and adding in some dried herb with my resin.
Get yourself an adjustable incense burner that is heated with tea candles. Charcoal is way too hot to bring out the nice scent of fine resins.
The adjustable tea candle ones that come with a screen type insert, I suggest you either use it with tin foil or you find someone who can make you a fitting stainless steel disc that's about 0,5mm thick or something in that range, so that a dripping through of the resin will be prevented.

Is Butane gas burner easy to refill? Plz guide me honestly.
Honestly, some are easy and some are a pain in the ass. The one I have, and that we sell on our site riversbendsanctuary.com, has so far been on the easier side. Just flip it upside down so fill hole is facing up. Stick the butane nipple thingy in the hole and push slightly down. You will feel the burner getting cold. In my experience, when full it slightly sprays out so I know to stop. I then flip it right side up and let it sit for 5 minutes to mix with the old. Hope that helped.
I bought a electric incense burner no more funky ass charcoal
Very useful video! How would you advice to prevent the resin from burning out completely? After burning and spreading its scent, it tends to become darker and spread a burnt scent, which gets to cover the previous scent, I don't know if you see what I mean. Being a burnt scent, it may even be harmful, as far as I know. Thank you in advance for your reply :)
Hi Simon, Yes, some resins do get that burnt smell. I have noticed that it depends on the quality of the resin, and wonder if some of the cheaper ones contain additives. I suggest purchasing from a known reputable company. I often mix resin pieces with my own dried herbal mixes as well. One thing to note is the heat. Higher heat will cause darker smoke. Lower heat/flame will cause the resin to burn more evenly and slowly, creating less burning. I tend to use a candle for heat or one of our butane incense burners on low flame after getting it softened.
@@RiversBendSanctuary Thank you for your answer. Actually I do use high quality resin, but it burns within the tinfoil. It should then definitely be related rather to the distance between the resin and the flame.
@Simon Malesan-Jordaney yes, I would increase the distance. Also, instead of aluminum foil, you can use an empty tealight candle. That will reduce the intensity of the flame.
@@RiversBendSanctuary oh, I have never tried that! 🙂 Thank you! 🙏
Thank You 🌹
Pardon my deftness, but I’m confused why the second burner can be opened. How do these things work? I thought you could directly light resin and put it inside, I didn’t know it needed charcoal? I thought you lit charcoal inside container and that’s it. I don’t understand the point of putting tin foil on top with resin?
Hello, It depends on the type of incense being burned. I now use butane incense burners as I do not like the smell of charcoal. (Charcoal is also a safety concern.) I created this video as a last resort kinda thing if other utilities are not available. I would suggest a candle underneath, using a butane burner, or oil burner instead.
I use cauldrons

How do you break the charcoal into fours?
I just use my hands to break them. You can also score the top with something sharp, then use a table or shelf edge to snap.
That's it!? Nothing special, huh!? Lol! Thx
nice
Can I burn risen in the electric burner ???
Can I burn raisin in the butane burner ???
Yes! Resin actually works the best in these 😃
@@frankiep76 resin does work in both the butane and electric incense burners. I prefer loose herbs in the butane one and resin in the electric one.
Use tongs dont burn yourself
Isn't it bad karma to constantly push Amazon, though?
I don't believe so, but it seems to be a sore spot for you. I often share links to our small family business for our butane incense burners. I sure don't see that as bad karma. I also do not see myself as constantly pushing Amazon. However, I have stated where I have purchased items. I believe if you feel so strongly than I would suggest you not shop at Amazon. If you feel the need to crusade on this, good luck. I wish you the best.

it's a charcoal briquette, not brisket
Cook it like crack!
😂🤣
Not everybody should try it, cuz it could be dangerous. Just a thought.
You're right! Definitely can be dangerous if used inappropriately and should NOT be left unattended. I suggest using butane incense burners instead.
Sorry to say this but wrong info from start to finish and even dangerous.
