You're in for a treat. It's an amazing trilogy up there with the greats.
amazing movies, with maybe the only soundtrack i'd rank higher than John Williams
My favorite trilogy.
be true to yourself, don't ever loose that glow! awesome!
thank you for letting us in again.
hopes and dreams always! see you soon!
Totally historically accurate depiction of Norway.
Since it's your channel, u should also be entitled to select the movies of your own choice once in a while. This trilogy is a nice one, one of the best animated trilogies.
I recommend you a 1997 movie Dragonheart... with Danis Quaid and Sean Conery.
Oh no. Do I have to donate for you to watch the 2nd one?
Do any John Hughes film like 16 Candles or The Breakfast Club. You will love 16 Candles!
give the tv series a go too; well worth it. It helps fill in the gaps of the movies.
On the book part. Can a book be bought for you?
The behavior of Toothless was largely based on cats' movements.
Yes 50 % cat, 49% dog and 1% bat.
Best animated trilogy by far! FYI, there is a wonderfully cute and funny, short promo, that they shot for the second film, titled, "Kit Harrington and Toothless: Lost Audition Tapes" that I would recommend watching. And yes, Kit Harrington aka Jon Snow from Game of Thrones is in the sequel.
The Shrek trilogy: 👁️👄👁️
This isn't only the best animated trilogy but one of the best movie trilogies
@@thomasray shrek the third doesn't keep up with the other two. HTTYD is strong all the way through
King Fu Panda trilogy would like a word
@@BraxtonM1 Kung Fu Panda is a fun and great trilogy, only problem is lack of character development, especially in regards to Po; he's essentially the same character at the end, as he was at the beginning. The other thing that doesn't help, is that in all 3 movies, while the villains change, each movie is about Po struggling with his identity, which worked well in the first 2 movies, but feels tired and repetitive by the 3rd.
All three movies in this franchise were excellent feel-good movies. I truly hope you'll watch the other 2 soon as well!
Oh, except the last one. That was worse than an actual heart break...I was destroyed for weeks xD
@@H1ddenB1ades same tbh but recently rewatching it for the story of toothless & my man Hickey it was a beautiful animation & send off for the movie
I'm glad that you also enjoyed "How To Train Your Dragon." This and "Megamind" are my favorite animated movies.
Have you seen Monsters Vs Aliens? It’s up there with Megamind too, imo.
Interesting that they both came out in 2010. What a stacked year for Dreamworks.
@@CChissel I liked it, but for me it wasn't on the same level.
How to train your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda are not just great animation trilogies. They are great trilogies even when put against something like Nolan´s Dark Knight trilogy or Indiana Jones trilogy, these films hold against them so well. Funny, tear jerker, wholesome to the boot. I hope you will watch rest of the films and Kung Fu Panda's as well. Your smile and laughter are good medicine for the dark times. Thank you for your reaction Kamilla.
This is one of my favorite animated movies. I was still tearing up through half of your reaction. I love this movie.
I truly believe this is one of the best trilogies of all time. The best part is the jump in animation quality between the first and second movie. Feel good movie, soundtrack is spectacular and Gerard Butler considers this the movies he's most proud of in his career.
New subscriber just because of this movie
35-year-old man and even after multiple viewings, this trilogy still gets me in my feels. Especially the 2nd and 3rd.
My all-black kitten is named Toothless after these movies. Cats were used as inspiration for Toothless' looks and movements.
They ARE masterpieces and in my honest opinion, the best animated trilogy of all time.
Looking forward to seeing your reaction to the other two
10:22 Dont worry , you wont see all of them here in the Trilogy, that part is BEST enjoyed on the TV Series side of things 😁🤟❤
It’s your channel do what makes you happy! Your reviews are always great
Such a great movie, one of my favorites of all time! It was great seeing you smile as you watched it.
It's an amazing franchise. Just so you know, there's an animated series between the films. They released the first season after the first movie, and a lot of things from the series made it into the second movie for continuity, but the series is definitely not required to enjoy the movies, and they do stick the the wholesome theme.
12:19 In my opinion the most iconic scene to promote a movie 😊
These movies are phenomenal! The first two in the trilogy are up there with some of my favorite movies ever. Everything in this film is handled so well from Hiccup and Toothless's relationship to the very believable father-son relationship and all the individual side characters. And the music is top tier film music ever made, in my opinion. John Powell just went and created his magnum opus for these films.
I love how Hiccup and Toothless's disabilities match, and how they are, in a way, both responsible for each other's lost limb. They both wound each other but also save each other, and now they are two halves of a whole when they fly.
Definitely check out the second one! You'll love it as well for sure.
The films are So Different from the books, But both are really good.
You'll really enjoy this series
This is one of the best trilogies, especially for animated movies.
This trilogy is one of my absolute favorites!
Haven't seen it yet, but I heard that like Toy Story (at least the Ansdy arc), it is an amazing trilogy, and unlike Toy Story or Shrek, they really closed the page on the third one on a high note.
So, excited for you to watch it and excited to start watching it very soon.
Speaking of animated movies, the last Puss in Boots (the last wish) is FREAKING AMAZING.
Give it a watchhh!
Another animated trilogy that made me cry ugh so good
You should absolutely watch the rest of the trilogy, they stay consistently good
Definitely watch the sequels. The series are a great watch too.
Loved this movie. It is right up there in WALLE territory.
"He's alive, you brought him back alive." Hiccup never open his eyes. When Hiccup opens his eyes, his world changed. Dragons and vikings were no longer enemies. Everyone stopped telling him what was wrong with him was on the inside. Astrid no longer was mean to him. This all happened after Hiccup fell into the fire with Toothless in the battle to kill the largest dragon. Everything points to Hiccup dying. His friend couldn't save him because he lost the tail in the fire. Plus, Hiccup is transformed after his fall. He didn't get wings, but he did get a whole new life.
@@battleangelfan7067 I risk spoilers if I talk about the sequels. However, they still fall in line with the afterlife theory. The major giveaway that its all after life after the first one was they always told him he had to stop being himself and pointed to him or told him it was what was inside of him that was the problem. After his fall with toothless he is told all they needed was a little more of him. His afterlife is an expansion of that. Plus, if the Night Fury represents death and "death" wraps up HIccup in its wings, I don't know what can more clearly state he died than that act alone.
@@lexwells4763 I really don't think it's that deep tbh.
I remember watching this in 3D in theaters, the flying scenes blew me away. You will love the rest of the trilogy.
As soon as I saw the subtitles, I was like: eyy, fellow norwegian! haha:) dinna triologien e favorittfilmane mine, animasjonsmessig:) Kan hende folk vil anbefale d å se seriane og kortfilmane i tillegg, men teknisk sett trenge du kun å se kortfilmane "Gift of the Night Fury" (2011) etter den første filmen, og "How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming" (2019) etter den tredje.
It's good to see you happy
This is a great movie, you should look into doing a reaction to these as well: Big Hero Six, Finding Nemo, Up, Wall E, and Kung Fu Panda...All these movies are amazing.
we need the trilogy!!!
Like your reviews, one of my favorite love story is "Man on Fire" Denzel is outstanding, would appreciate your take!! Some would not understand defining it as a love story tooo bad!😂😂😂😂😂
First reactions of the 1st httyd movie are golden
I refuse to belive someone can hate this movie
Good animated movie recommendationss:
"Megamind" (2010) lots of comedy references to "Superman" (1978), so you should watch that first.
"The Incredibles" (2004) make sure to watch the bonus short film "Jack Jack Attack" at the end.
"The Incredibles 2" (2018)
"The Chubb Chubbs" (2002) short film Academy Award winner
"Hotel Transylvania" (2012)
"Ralph Breaks the Internet" (2018)
"Monsters Inc." (2001)
"Monsters University" (2013)
"Chicken Run" (2000)
"Flushed Away" (2006)
"Ice Age" (2002) make sure to watch the bonus short films about Scratch
"Monsters Vs. Aliens" (2009)
"Despicable Me" (2010)
"Antz" (1998)
"Toy Story" (1995)
"Heavy Metal" (1981)
"Vampire Hunter D" (1985)
"Venus Wars" (1989)
"Naussicaa of the Valley of the Wind" (1984)
"Akira" (1988)
great reaction. this is a beautiful movie. Toothless is adorable. The voice for the old guy with only 1 leg is from Craig Ferguson, who was a late night talk show host, super funny.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REACT TO THE SHOW!!🙏 it takes place between the first and second movie
Thanks for watching this. I know you have a lot to watch but really recommend watching the next two. They are really good. Like Star Wars original trilogy. This is my favorite animated trilogy ever and top three of all trilogies.
Good times, babe! WALL-E, BRAVE, and UP all in like consecutive years. So many of these out there. Feel free to watch as many as you watch. We'll be there.
Please PLEASE find time in your journey to explore "The Stormlight Archive" series by Brandon Sanderson. These books are amongst some of the greatest high fantasy of the last 50-60 years, and damn if they don't deliver!
I am all in favor of more wholesome content. Garbage in, garbage out, you know. You have a wonderful mind, and depressing violent images are not helping fight that 'decline' you said you are feeling. There are so many great movies around, not that sappy stuff, but for real romance and adventure tales. (Princess Bride for example.)
Hi Camila, toda latinoamerica espera tu reacción a The Mandalorian... Love your channel. Saludos desde Chile.
This really is one of my favorite movies. Not just favorite animated movies, but favorite moves full stop. The whole series is amazing, and I hope you get to continue with it soon.
For me, this saga is up there with The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars 1-6 and Harry Potter.
1. Lord of the rings
Long time nothing.
2. Star Wars 4-6
3. How to train your dragon
4. Star Wars 1-3
5. Harry Potter films (books are far, far better).
@@Nloveru so is The Lord of the Rings book
@@MichaelJohnsonAzgard with the difference that the Lotr films are as great as humanly possible for book adaptations. Masterpieces themselves.
The Potter films are not.
If you don't have plenty of happy, uplifting movies in your list, your recommenders are doing you a disservice. 🙁
If there's one movie that is guaranteed to cure depression, it's this one, plus the others, and the tie in series, both of them, except The Nine Realms but we don't speak of that money grubbing dumpster fire.
You should definitely watch the trilogy if you weren't planning to. They're ALL good.
I'm not sure if you've seen it on here yet but you should review Mastermind. It's got a similar kind of enjoyment. I'm not a patron person but I know you'd dig it
Im a 31 year old buff dude and am more giddy watching these than my nephews... i love the trilogy.
I like that you chose a movie that you wanted to watch instead of listening to a poll. They are often useful, as they can lead to good viewing experiences, but it's nice to sometimes just make your own decisions.
After all, it's your channel, and you should be entitled to your movie choices.
This maybe late but you should definitely do the series there is httyd riders of berk and defenders of berk and race to the edge they take place after first movie before second movie they show amazing dragons and villains alot of hiccup and astrid and how they got engaged and audrie greywind did a interview on her channel with the writer of httyd the fire tides since it wasnt released the interview was going over the whole story so it's out there it has shirtless hiccup and explains what happened to drago after second movie
If I may make a suggestion, here are 2 movies you could react to that won't make you cry. Galaxy Quest: comedy / sci-fi that makes fun of Star Trek, Hollywood and actors. I.Q. is a romantic comedy with Meg Ryan and Tim Robbins. It is a very light, cute and quirky romantic movie. Now I can't speak for others, but watching you cry while watching very emotional movies also helps me cry. This may sound odd, but sometimes a person needs a good cry to help get through what is going on in their life. But I will agree that constantly watching emotionally draining movies can wreck havoc on a person. You do need to find that balance. Perhaps my 2 suggestions could help with that balance.
wholesomeness and a movie disconnected to recharge...Klaus, yes christmas movie for all year
14:46 I don't know why so many people miss this. When he fell in the previous shot, he bent the clasp on his harness to the saddle. He was stuck and needed to get tools to fix it.
So IT is a male? ...something in 2 and 3...?
..kan man ikke se den på/med NY-Norsk?
^Grim - OND-Jyde er Jeg 😛
These are great fun sweet movies. Here us another one that i havent seen anyone react to. Its as family friendly and cute and a bit of adult as u can get. Its called Babe. You will absolutely love it.
Jeg håper du føler deg bedre. Det er forresten seks sesonger med tv serie mellom den første og andre filmen. De viser utviklingen i forholdet mellom karakterene.
Lists suck! Watch what you want cause that makes for a more unique channel and more variety of reactions.
A lot of people don't notice but when the boy fishing on the moon clears the clouds toothless flys past on the right hand side of the screen.
What’s a grocery never tried raw fish. I guess you don’t eat for sushi, huh?
You should watch Kung Fu Panda if you haven't already
I swear my German Shepard be acting like toothless a lot the way he looks at people with his eyes in contusion
You do you! That is always the most important. This was a great choice!!!
the best animated trilogy, i hope you upload the second and third movie!
The How to train your dragon trilogy is awesome. Most dreamworks movies are
You really should watch the sequel, its so damn good
Highly recommend HOOK by Steven Spielberg
Great Video😁 I would love a reaction to arcane, if you didn't see it already
Camila try reading classic masterpieces instead of commercial garbage
do you need more movies that are just easy deel-good/fun?
I think you will like Kung Fu Panda good movie
You would like the franchise Trust me
The sequels are just as good, possibly better.
You'll love the Kung Fu Panda movies to then
Can you watch How To Train Your Dragon 2.
Is this Danish?
I can read Norwegian & Swedish. I can't read this smoothly.
Hvordan kan du lese norsk men ikke forstå det er norsk tenker jeg da 👁️👄👁️
Cutest?? More like the scariest of some parts
You should watch forest Gump
Wait until the next movie, its gonna get so sad
Can't wait to see you react to the 2nd!!
WATCH THE REST OF THE TRILOGY
u must watch all of the httyd
when I was a teenager in the late 70's - early 80's, I was the living embodiment of Hiccup, and yes, my father was Stoic the Vast! did I connect with this movie, oh, yes! yes I did!
yeah it's a good series.
Just effing do it😊
toothless >>> drogon
do httyd 2 and 3
pls
You are so funny :)
Part 2 pleaseeeeeeeeeeee
i love this series- especially since i feel like i “grew up” with hiccup. this movie came out when i was 15 (same age as hiccup), and the sequel came out when i was 20 (same age as hiccup). afaik his age in the 3rd isn’t mentioned but if it followed the same trend hiccup would be 23/24 in movie 3
yo u Swedish ??
This movie is so great! I don't know if you've already watched Despicable Me, and then one of the sequels, Minions. They are also very fun, and cute! Sort of the same as this one. And also Madagascar, the penguins in that one are hilarious.
Oh, and there is always The Princess Bride. And Inkheart.
If you want to see the human light fury check out YEJI from the girl group ITZY. She is adorable
WALL-E next , must do WALL-E... so good , a great one after this film , wholesome , touching
I love you!!!!
