Quintin, a plane approach to San Diego airport is one of the best airport approaches in the world. You can see the San Diego skyline in it, and everything else!
when i flew Southwest last week both flights were pretty full socially distanced they will soon unblock middle seats because more and more people are travelling compared to the summer when like only 40 to 60 people are onboard your flight now its like 3 empty seats of the total capacity
today's Q re-view is a short trip from Oakland to San Diego made possible by milky way.. qman got some great out the window shots which make this video worth a second look. great job qman and thanks for sharing!!
next video up will be from San Diego up to Seattle on an Alaska Embraer 175 operated by Skywest which features the salute to hereos logo followed by horizon Air Bombarier Q400 to Montana in the Alaska Anchroage or Fairbanks logo i believe one of those two to Montana
I missed out on seeing that lovely city approach/landing as my flight here didn't have a window seat. Was in a center seat on a 767 nowhere near the window. Great place to visit though!
That's sad news. I hate when they seat people as far away from the window as possible. It's like they want to avoid them like the plague. Whatever Airline did this u know who u are.
@@avationgeek.1217 Well 767s have those seats in the middle of the plane with the two rows on either side; if I recall I had to get this flight last minute, so that's all that was left. I think some people like those seats because they're nervous about flying and they don't care to look out and think about how high up they are, lol
I noticed that you didnt mention the Navy Base that was 32nd St. and the Coronado Bay Bridge that you passed by goes to NAS North Island and the Amphib base
Mr. Soloviev, your blog has the best music in ALL of the aviation geekdoms available. Please know we use gerkdom as a highly regarded instance. Keep up the most excellent adventures. ( An homage to Bill & Ted. )
I love seat 18A it’s my go to if I ever wanna sit on the left side!!! Great video!! The beautiful Cali sun made the wing view quite stunning despite it being an old livery!
Do you know the story non Southwest’s orange flap canoes? When they first got the 737 NGs, they painted the canoes orange so ground crews could easily differentiate the NGs from the Classics.
This is great! My local airport. Glad to see you out on the West Coast! Hope you do some more flights in that region. Thanks for documenting and sharing.
Love your channel and iTripreport's channel. Love the way you point out landmarks during the flight There is one more channel I watch for trip reports. A very funny (dry dry humor) Canadian Asian fellow, the Vicarious Voyager. You three are the perfect trip trifecta!! Thanks!
I flew in and out of Oakland over the summer. Oakland is a small airport but it's modern. I like it because it's mostly southwest but I didn't like having to go thru TSA at Terminal 2 with a flight out of Terminal 1 on SWA. Kind of annoying but eh it's fine.
I enjoy your videos very much. May I ask why you don’t get your pilots licence and fly for a living since you obviously love flying and travelling so much?
Oakland Airport is a west coast "HUB" for Southwest one of 11 hubs Southwest uses yes Southwest airlines is doing more of a hub and spoke rather than point to point structure the past 10-20 years
I want to see the 737 MAX be ripped apart by the scrapping machines and I want it to burn in hell. Satan made that plane. I want it dead so it can't claim any more lives.
The Max has been the most thoroughly scrutinized airliner in aviation history. The problems have been addressed and will be perfectly safe. The plane itself isn’t very different from previous 737s. The problem was mostly software related and has been fixed. No need to worry.

Hi
sounds smooth and great
The flight during 1 hour and 10 minutes
THANK YOU 👍👍👍😀😀😀❤❤❤
Great trip report!
Fly from Dallas Love field Airport (DAL-KDAL to San Antonio international airport SAT one day

great trip report quintin! im going on southwest airlines next week! Also I'm flying from SAN to!
True
No way! I’m headed there in 2 weeks!
Thanks QFS !!
Basic Southwest flight....cheap. no frills and friendly service. Great video Quintin😀😀💚Nice cockpit viewd!
Southwest is by far the friendliest airline I've ever flown and they have the best customer service. They are the BEST of the no-frills fliers.

Glad to see you are adding new content. I enjoy the videos
I read today on Flight Aware that SWA is going to return to full capacity flights after Thanksgiving. They had a $1.2 billion 3rd quarter loss.

Great trip report as usual! Especially loved the departure shots of the Bay Area and the arrival in to KSAN.
Your videos are always inspiring. I can watch them everyday
beautiful video bro !! congrat's again!
The footage at the end in El Cajon is my old backyard! Nice work again! 👍✈️

My dad is a pilot for southwest and I’m going flying with him tomorrow on standby to San Jose and Denver.
You’re so lucky!!
Tomorrow is A350 to Heathrow then A320 to Stockholm on my way to move in for school finally.

Catching up on some vids I missed! This was a great one!

Great view of the cockpit, personally I find this part of the plane very fascinating.

I think I had just gotten back from San Antonio from visiting my dad
I hope the canyon blue stays around for a while! Its my favorite livery

Could you do some videos on a Greyhound Bus? That would be interesting.
Or maybe hitchhiking!!
I think it’s cool to spot other airports when you’re @ the cruising altitude 😃. I wish I could see the BIL Airport @ a cruising altitude.
that landing was BUTTER

love your videos, always top notch. thanks for sharing. fly safe my friend.
Did all of Southwest’s 737-700s receive this new blue seat cover?
i would technically classify San Diego as a Southwest Airlines focus city as well as for Alaska Airlines
I have flown this route a few times.
What did you think of the In Flight Entertainment? I was the IFE intern for Southwest last summer!
im not impatient, but im still wondering if ur doing a trip report to ELP cause of the Roswell video
Love the upbeat music
Great video!
Well done, great Trip Report!
I love southwest!✈
Hey! You should do spirit airlines airbus a321!
Amazing how u fly so often
I flew on a 737-700 To South Padre island and that is the most comfortable 737 in the world. Sad to see SWA is retiring the 737-700 Nice report though
I enjoy your videos very much. May I ask why you don’t get your pilots licence and fly for a living since you obviously love flying and travelling so much?
gonna be in this flight nxt month!
at 2:09 that text tone that sounds like a harmonica, my dad has the same one and i was so confused.

Phineas and Ferb the Southwest the Mad!
Yay my hometown
There's a really good restaurant in San Diego's airport.
Do you guys really believe that SWA will buy the A220? They are such a loyal customer to Boeing...
Are you still in San Diego? Might have seen your plane fly over my school!!
Which school
So far so good
Amazing trip love your vids btw and I think you remember me from your last vid 🤔
Did you see any of the wild fires?
Do you just fly for fun or work?
9:10 I see Burbank Airport! 😅👍

Then Quintin flies to Sacramento where someone thought he was a terrorist due to him filming in the airport but was fine doing that
Such a great plane, sadly Southwest has other plans with the -700 when the MAX returns

The reason Southwest has a large presence on the west coast is because it is called Southwest
Wow! I thought that was just a coincidence!
