Fun obscure fact: Sark's voice actor in KH2 is Corey Burton who is a well known VA, but also known as the original VA for Shockwave in the original Transformers. Burton based Shockwave's voice on David Warner's portrayal of Sark from the original Tron. So for Burton to be playing Sark is a neat little detail.
Burton's impression of Warner is so close it's almost scary.

I do admit if we got a transformers Movie done right with a cast kept close to the original voices I would always see Dan Stevens for Shockwave as his voice would fit close to Corey Burton's Shockwave voice that Burton wanted to do based on David Warner

And to think, Corey Burton took inspiration from David Warner's Sark to play Shockwave in Transformers...now Burton's playing Sark himself in KH.
In another universe, the "computer world" would end with a battle against Shockwave and involve a "Data Collection" gimmick where the Predacons he brings out get fiercer the more times he hits Sora. So if you do poorly, the boss battle would become Sora vs Shockwave and also 20 Predaking Clones.
Loved it when Tron hugged them lasting friendships to the very end

Can I just say that Kh2 has the best combat in any game I've ever played.
I know it just seems like "attack, do combo w/ equipped abilities, profit" but it's just so fucking satisfying
I think that’s why it works. The system is so simple that you don’t have to break your brain on combos, styles, or other gimmicks. The shortcuts for spells also really opened up the potential to mix up the fight.

I love that Sark’s first form has so little actual challenge to it, the only thing he does is throw a disk at you that can be reflected right at him. Not even a basic combo out of him, it’s hilarious that he was anybody’s right-hand man.
I mean how much of a threat are you when a kid from another world can cast magical programs from frame 1 and has a vast array of blades at his disposal with just thinking of it

This is one of my favorites outfits for sora apart from Nightmare before chirstmas, also worth noting how square enix made all keyblades in the tron world have the blue tint which makes all keyblades look even better

Poor Shockwave. He can't even keep the MCP safe very well. Sora even did him a solid by turning into Anti Form and he got foiled by room design.

This fight gave me anxiety . I get a little nervous when I see virus corrupted and evil computer software
The story of KH is a mess, but the battle part of the gameplay can be a lot of fun once you've memorised the best tactics.

@@crepsecularcorvus1674 No thanks. Not when there are multiple times during this guy’s playthrough of Kingdom Hearts when it seems he’s getting hit on purpose. Also, in Final Fantasy XII, when he was fighting Mateus, he could clearly see that the boss was under Reflect status. He still decided to use Fira on it, which nearly got his whole party killed. Doubly pathetic when you consider that in that particular game, ice monsters are weak against lightning magic.
