Thats what you get when you play like that the majority of the tournament, barely make it through, and then expect to beat Germany.
i watched the game. what i don't get is, how in the burning hell could they allow rape on TV? there were kids watching ffs...
Brazil might of been with out Neymar and Silva; but Germany have been missing people since before the World Cup started. I remember all the articles about "injuries stacking up" and if they can still make a run.. So, there are no excuses for this match..
In hinsight, those problems might even have been beneficary for the German team. They overobviously showed the necessity to have a rounded/complete team (where everyone can be replaced in case of emergency), instead of relying on single star players.

I dont get the people that are blaming Julio Ceasar. Most of the goals he had no shot at saving. If you want to blame anyone, blame Thiago Silva for that asinine yellow card in their previous game.

I agree, I'm German but I felt so bad for Ceasar. Completely on his own and didn't really make any mistakes.
True, Cesar only had a slight chance at saving the first goal. Everything else was beyond him and the defence should be at blame.
Indeed. A commentator (I think it was BBC) mentioned that maybe the seventh goal could have been blocked (jumping a little higher up), but - after his defence let him down 6 times - it did not really matter anymore.
Better to blame them all. You win and lose together.

I was speechless. I was shell shocked, for sure. If I was Brazilian, I would have been weeping. All I can say is the wailing and mashing of teeth was heard and seen from that crowd.
I hope the german team, score a lot of goals against Argentina in the World Cup Final, in this next Sunday. I'm Brazilian. And I think the worst thing that would happen is to see Argentina win this Final.

I believe that the reason for the 7 goals against Brazil is the qualification-match Sweden vs. Germany (4:4) where Germany led by 0:4 and we all know what then happened.
German team this time decided not to go on autopilot after 0:4.

David Luiz - The one and ONLY player at the game, against 11 german good amazing players. That's why Brazil was massacred.
luiz seemed to forget about the position he was playing 5mins into match ,and was the major cause of the defeat . That and Germany's ability to play simple and effective Football/soccer ,and play as a unit/team
You did see the bit when he left his defensive line completely exposed by trying to be a striker, yes?
He and Marcelo were the worst of all. David Luiz was 100% out of his position from start to end.

this result is mostly thanks to a brasilian team efford. yes germany was good but brasil was a desaster and you can see the result. but i dont think you should overrate germany, stay realistic and honor the true heroes who made this awesome result possible: the brasilian team.

I think this was also a terrible coaching job. Yes, Scolari won a championship but how do you not make a substitution after the 2nd goal? They needed a change of plan and Scolari looked clueless...He should have brought it another defender to communicate the change and shore up the defense... at that point you have to slow the game down..until 1/2 time at least...then you devise a plan for the 2nd half.
You are completely right brazil wefe stubborn they tried to play the same way they played every game and it didn't most of the blame should be directed to scolari for being an idiot and David Luiz who loves playing fucking striker and leaves Dante behind against Kroos Klose Ozil and Mueller.also thank god they took fernandinho off at half time he gifted germany their goals
