    Good morning. The vertical splitting sure helps break down the big pieces. Nice assortment of wood. Have a excellent weekend.

      Morning! These bloated mirandering-grained city trees require a lot of use with the single wedge splitter. I envy those who get the nice thin forest poles that would go nice in my homemade splitter. I've gotten used to the assortment of wood, now it seems like I get only a half a dozen species most of the time. I miss the ash haydays

    Looking great, Anthony. Even if it's a little bit, it all adds up.😉👍

      Ya, a bit everyday. Been doing a lot of wood lately, crunch time to have as much ready for the coming fall and I started on winter 25/26 wood too.

      Thanks, I've been hammering away at Smoker City. I wss trying to get ahead with inventory before winter, but it's been mild and I just keep increasing supply, but it's still a little tough to keep up. Most important is having the wood because I can't guarantee my inventory by pre-order

      @nickthrane4940 oh ok, I like splitting walnut and birch, it processes efficiently, but a little too light to fill up on. I wish I could still get ash but they don't come down anymore.i don't get as many diverse species like I used to get I used to use it as a good base for my crates

    Anthony all firewood move with time , same as having money 💴 in the bank . 😊

      Ya the money would be nice to fet but over time, it will affect me when I've got to much odds and ends building up. I will be restocking my shop's woodstove supply for now. I xan makr a few crates as backup wood when i run out in late flall/ winter and it will sell, but there will be a point two or three months down the road where I will have no more room for all the odds and ends that huild up

      Ya it's really a tough find. I've been advertising for over a year and no hits. Gonna have to lower my price too much, plus it's spring and wasn't a cold winter wither, so it's really a hard sell now

    What is your main product that you sell? Is it the smoker wood?

    • @OntarioFirewoodResource
      @OntarioFirewoodResource  5 місяців тому +1

      I sell mostly firewood for fireplaces here in thenl city. I've had a customer who buys 20 bags of smoker wood per month and then a bunch of people show up for 1 to 6 bags. I got a new customer who sells bbs, woodstoves and fireplaces and he bought 30 bags recently, looking to see how consistent he turns out to be. I used tontry to sell apple and cherry logs, but I had a hard time getting lots of supply and if I did, nobody really bought it and the next thing I know, someone buys it all and then I'd have nothing for months

      @OntarioFirewoodResource  5 місяців тому +1

      1750 delivered, 1350 USD, for about an hour's drive, less or more for closer or farther. Boiler user range is about 20 minutes or more outside of the city

      I was thinking about asking him, so might as well. He is far, hopefully if he does have links, they're close enough becauae the delivery fee is heavy for just one hour's drive
