great job Greg! Always an education watching these as you so often bring new stuff to my attention That Laferté and Soligny seem whisky to be on the look out for. Thanks for the mentions as well.
Hi Menno, thanks a lot for your kind words & samples again (for the record & people reading, i haven't tried all your samples yet & some of them are blinds...), Cheers !
Very comprehensive list Greg! I like the design category, agree with all of them. I also absolutely love the Wire Works bottles as well. Wow your Campbelltown Loch looks so much more darker than the ones I've had! The Foundations design looks fantastic and the whisky sounds delicious but I have a bad taste from the brand ambassadors so maybe next year my thoughts will change. What a collection of whiskies Greg, you've tasted some absolute bangers! Here's to an even bigger 2025!!!
Thanks a lot, Sertug, there was a lot of preparation work behind this, even if its not a tight as I wanted, but appreciate you liked it. Yes batch variations are also common to this reference, and you don't always get to choose which one you want on line, but that one I got in a shop & remembered good feedback read about that years batches. I know you had a bad welcome experience with them indeed, but, not to excuse anyone (as for me the welcome at a show is as important as the tasting) & I don't know what was going on, but based on my past experience as a brand ambassador myself, sometimes some unpleasant incident can happen at the stand before someone else's coming & it might alter the next welcome experience, through a certain fatigue & exasperation (and I've seen some crazy things with people unpolite & even physically agressive on me because bad education+ drunk), but I agree its not a reason to treat you bad, so I hope things will be better for you next year with them. Thanks, and yes I did spend a lot last year & should be more careful this year, lol, Cheers ! (& I saw your French new video title so looking forward to see it after working from home today).
@@GregsWhiskyGuide Yeah whenever I have a bad experience like that after I get home or take the time to chill I think to myself maybe they were having a horrible day and that reflected on me, even though it shouldn't. We are all human after all.
I jumped around a fair amount. Appreciated the best value for money, though I cannot get many of them. Also insterested seeing the Rampur releases. I've been enjoying a few more Indian releases lately. Thanks for sharing your experience this year!
Hi Jon, thanks for watching at least some of it (that's why the chapters in the description are for, but one might also browse by chance to be surprised sometimes, Cheers !
Hi Greg, had to see your video in three sittings. Glad that the Benromach CS got a mention 👍. Got a Tomatin 18 early last year for just over €80, not a bad price. Must say you had some excellent drams last year. Enjoyed watching this. Slàinte Greg.
Big fan of that Laferté bottle from the shaped glass similar to Wire Works and great typeface. The type of font that Highland Parks rebrand should have used imo. Great list Greg, some interesting bottles.
Thanks, Jeff, I do appreciate your designer expertise & opinion on those...! (I forgot to mention in the video that in the Rampur Jugalbandi series, the glass is progressively darker (tainted) from almost the bottom to the top, less radically than the Italian distillery Puni did, but still noticeable, I love it. And the box for me also kooks the part. Cheers !

Man that is a nice list Greg, need to find a few and expand my Whiskey Horizons. Cheers Bud!
Thanks, mate, enjoy !
So then HanginAZ does that mean you are going to be spending large sums of money on whiskey? 😆😆
@ I do love a budget bottle but I have been known to peel off a hundo now and again.
@@HanginAZ Not sure I understood what you meant there but yeah good for you if you can find some good stuff every now & then...
@@GregsWhiskyGuide Anthony was teasing me for being a Budget guy and I stated sometimes I will buy something up to a hundred dollars. Lol
