What a nutcase.
Eating a banana can have side effects ... or hearing RFK babble conspiracy theories ... namely getting infected with total stupidity or your head exploding.

Tempest and Ryan in the piss closet?
On the Guinea-Bissau thing. Since Bill Gates's charity generally gives the vaccine to the absolute most destitute people, I don't know, but it's entirely possible that the people who received the vaccine would be more prone to the afflictions reported, whereas people who got vaccinated in other ways were more likely to have the supplies to not die from the other stuff. You really have to dig into the data to understand the full scope of the finding.
You think someone should be disqualified because of a disability with his voice but support Biden. Real based take, i can see why people take what you say seriously.
@@jessicaazar-pp1kd Way to misrepresent Vaush's statement. RFK's voice is going to be an issue with voters that's just how American politics works.

Lex would be great if he didn't constantly platform liars, and allow them to get away with saying ANYTHING THEY WANT.

The best thing I’ve ever heard about RFK Jr is that of course he would be against vaccines because his dad and his uncle got their shots and they died. I will never forget this joke.
He's probably against SSRI's because the wife he cheated on was depressed and killed herself.

RFK's voice disorder is called spasmodic dysphonia, a genetic condition believed to be triggered by damage to the basal ganglia. One possible cause of damage to the basal ganglia is excessive drug use, which is part of RFK's past.
Yeah, this is what I thought. I'm not sure where Vaush got the cancer surgery story, but maybe that has to do with it, idk to be honest.
And yet he acts as if he’s some pillar of morality 😂 he’s a complete joke and his father and uncle both would smack his fried dr*ggie brain out

We need leftists to run as Republicans as open leftists packaged with cautious patriotism. And when pressed on it to just say 'well I think the Democrats aren't doing enough" which is straight up true.
Perfect. I'm just sick of all those years of open drama and obsessions with Democrats when all Republicans had to do is proves themselves to cities voters.
As SNEAKY open leftists! Just don't use words like "socialism" and instead frame things solely through being a simple person from the simple countryside who thinks basic human decency is what we need because that's what Jesus would do.
I guarantee it'd be incredibly effective.
You need support from the rest of the party if you hope to do well. And you will get none.
Your post implies the democrats are leftists and this RFK circus is some intrusion by the right into the left. You cannot even infiltrate the democratic party with leftist candidates and get far. I am not even confident Sanders was ever legit. Every time he was within reach, it was almost like a staged fight where he collapsed on purpose -- with statistically improbable coin tosses and then him just conceding and backing the right wing democratic candidate. You can't run a leftist candidate in either of these parties. Let's see what happens to Cornell West. Green Party will do it, and you will see so-called leftists (probably even Vaush) screaming about spoilers and whatnot. There's hardly any real leftist in this country -- only democrats, and that's not the same thing.
Only problem with that is republicans would find ways to off them
RFK jr. is not disproving the old quip that the Kennedys are either awful or dead.

His candidacy would be disruptive if he was running third party. Running as a Dem will get him nowhere.
He will run third part
He is. The primary is just to get his name out in Dem circles. After they lose he will decry it as being an unfair process and say he has no choice but to run as an independent.

Don't hold your breath, they don't even seem to be ok settling for DeSantis, and DeSantis is already SO close to everything they want. Nah, they want a charismatic "strongman" fascist cult leader. Nah he’s too woke for Republicans.
Regardless of what RFK Jr is, the Republicans are deeply mistaken that he would be a pied Piper. Let them continue to be mistaken.

Conspiracy theorist make for super popular candidates.
Conspiracy theories make people feel like they’re smarter than everyone else. It’s empowering. They understand how the world “really works” and the rest of us are blind sheep.
And deflecting when we uses sheep insults against them.
One way to debunk conspiracy theories is their lack of potential predictive power. If one had any real insight into the way the real world works, one would be able to forecast future events accurately based on that model. I used to be a "the Bilderberg Group and Trilateral Commission run the world" adherent, basically the idea that became QAnon. I left that behind because events never turned out the way they said they would. The model always failed to forecast the doings of the elite accurately, so I stopped believing in it.
One of the reasons why RFK is a good candidate and he should be put on a debate stage with Biden. If Dems truly skip the debates, all of their dogma about "Democracy" was always hot garbage and Republicans are exactly the same when it comes to disdain for democracy.

If saying "toxic forever chemicals in the water is making us gay" is what gets Republicans on our side to clean up the environment, severely punish polluters, and strictly regulate these chemicals that are doing real damage, I guess I'm for it. We may have some minor issues as a result but we can overcome those.
It's true also probably accureate. Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder and I can see these unknown chemicals seeping into every organ of your body including your brain being linked to mental disorders like gender dysphoria. I don't know if it's been proven yet, but the scientific establishment is a subdivision of big pharma which wants our nation's youth on expensive risky puberty blockers.
Charlie Kirk blames water pollution for making men less manly, but supports all of the polluters. Conservatives are just complete idiots
"minor issues" to who? You because you would be lucky enough to be unaffected? No - this is beyond absurd. If someone wants to prioritize the marginalization of people over the combined problems encompassing the economy, environment, etc, then they are asserting that they don't care about those things with any degree of significance.
Otherwise it would be right wingers stating " I am disgusted with gay people, but im voting for a leftist because the economy, environment, etc are far, far, far more significant than my opinions of gay people."
The answer isn't to validate their idiotic beliefs....it's to challenge them and teach them, and very few people on the online platform where they all exist, do an effective job in doing this because they are financially disincentivized from doing it.

His statement about migrants destabilizing Europe's democracy is not necessarily wrong, but probably not in the way he thinks. The rise of fascism in Europe these past 10 to 15 years or so has largely been fueled by extreme right wing parties blaming Muslim migrants for everything bad that's happened during that time and that's a narrative that's taken root in a lot of people. The massive migration made the talking points resonate more with people, which in turn has led to multiple far-right parties being elected to government. These far-right parties also have strong anti-democratic histories and once they get into power they love to weaken democracy by clamping down on public services and whatnot.
Now, to blame this on the migrants themselves would be stupid since any destabilization of democracy is caused by far-right parties enacting anti-democratic policies once they get into power, and they use blaming migrants as a way to get into power. So the destabilization is caused by a response to the migrants and not by the migrants themselves, but the argument could still be made that the migrations from conflicts in the middle east is in fact destabilizing European democracies.
Yes, this is so true, obvious and yet somehow so many people are oblivious to it.

I think some of the most powerful global warming deniers are basically mass murderers. At the same time, it isn't clear how the government could prosecute them without wild changes to free speech law and jurisprudence, of a radical sort that would cause all kinds of other problems. We need strong free speech protections, among other things, to protect leftists and progressives from persecution. If free speech protections are eroded, this can be very bad. I have heard him talk about the free market stuff. It includes eliminating subsidies for gas, oil, and coal. It also includes infrastructure to get energy produced on that wind farm in North Dakota to the power grid (in all fairness, we’ve done that for the carbon industry) Kennedy has been a hero as an environmental lawyer. Though he’s probably most famous for the Hudson River cleanup, he’s also successfully sued Monsanto (I think it was for dumping glysophates on food; ie, corn).
Glyphosate is used as an herbicide, it's supposed to be sprayed over food crops to kill weeds. It's toxicity to mammals is less than that of table salt and no credible public health agency has found it's use to have any substantial health impacts for humans outside of extremely high levels of exposure (i.e. prolonged direct contact with the liquid concentrate).
So him suing over that is basically in the same conspiratorial pseudoscience area as his antivax stance.
To be fair to him though I'm pretty sure that lawsuit was for agricultural workers who had sustained extremely high levels of exposure before Monstanto started making stricter recommendations for safe handling of Roundup concentrate, not just for using Roundup in general. Even in that case though I don't think the evidence linking said workers health problems to glyphosate exposure was all that compelling.

Some info on RFK Jr's voice. The condition he has is called "spasmodic disphonia. It's a neurological condition of unknown origin. It causes the vocal chords to spasmodically flutter, which is were the wobbly voice comes from.
Rfk Jr supports anti trans sports policies
Which kinda fits in with his anti intellectualism
pretty sure USA was more divided...during the civil war?
Well one weird thing that has happened recently is my dad being into RFK Jr. cause he's antivax. Tbh I think that's enough to win over a lot of conservatives lool
yeah same, my dad but he's liberal. I feel like antivax is a surprisingly big wedge issue for some ppl.
Anti vax cuts across both parties to some degree.
Over vaccines? Really? Those things that saved our asses from Polio and Malaria and Hepatitis? Such a weird hill to die on.
people just be sitting there listening to this dude talk about how unsafe vaccines are, no one brings up that he is NOT a virologist or vaccine manufacturer. is this like how jordan peterson fans just assume he is an evolutionary biologist?
vaccine manufacturer? that's your standard of truth? no wonder the world is so screwed up.
JP fans don’t just assume that he’s an evolutionary biologist. JP actively lies and says that he is, and his sycophants just believe him
RFK Jr. was a voice on the left during the Bush/Iraq War 2 years, approximately 2004-2007ish. He was an outspoken opponent of the war at the time and at least back then, along with other voices like Lara Logan and Matt Taibbi, was speaking clear-headedly about that travesty. But that was his only issue. Faster-forward to today, just as with Logan and Taibbi to a lesser degree, RFK seems to have lost his mind and is now an anti-vax grifter running the whole “they don’t want you ta know” shtick. I was shocked when he burst out of obscurity and joined that crowd. He threw away my respect for him.
Related side note: In case people here didn’t also know this, Robert Deniro seems to have lost HIS mind too, because he’s an anti-vaxxer - apparently- that has shared a few stages with RFK Jr. Deniro was always a Hollywood actor speaking on the left (not outwardly, but did so when pressed). He may still be, but being anti-vax is a showstopper. The times really are revealing who people truly are.
AFAIK his voice can be fixed with a monthly injection, but his anti-vax madness extends to other medical treatments.
It's true, I am gay, and I drank water as a kid, even swam in it - bathed it, fully naked. I am omega gay.
Washed that water clean; impressive.
Why have conspiracy theories become so widely accepted?!
Because of 9/11
@@annaclarafenyo8185And TV. Heck Media mocks us for keeping away from UFO conspiracy theories and on.

if he accidentally pulls right wing votes to the left, I'm all for him
"I apologize for using my flatulence as a medium of public commentary in your presence," has got to be my favorite article line this week. Definitely using that one.
Was RFK the one responsible for 100s of deaths on a Pacific Island due to Measels or for 100s of deaths in a Hassidic community due to Measels?
Samoa.
Yes thats him. He's unapologetic.
I've been following RFK Jr's career for 20 years. That's his real voice. Whether he actually believes the words his voice utters or not, I don't know. But, that is definitely his real voice.
There are a couple of possible causes for the increase in mortality. That paper found that the vaccine order mattered when they looked at the data. Also a lot of deaths were from malaria in rural Bissau which makes sense if a lot of kids who with weaker immune systems who would’ve died are now subjected to a deadly disease in a place without the ability to treat the kids with effective medication
Also incomplete databases which misclassified vaccinated vs unvaccinated along with a huge margin of error makes it a really bad survey
I feel like I was in a lecture. Thanks you Prof. Vaush.
So he is doing some sort of mental gymnastic tripple reach around of political positioning. He uses left wing talking points, far right conspiracy theories and center right libertarian capitalist boot licking.
I would hope that litterally everyone on the political spectrum could just see him as weasle with no true convictions.
that is basically todays populism
He's one of those people who reminds me of Russell Brand, weirdly trying to smash reactionary politics and conspiracism into vaguely progressive platitudes.
And I'm still trying to process why some Leftists loves Russell Brand when his comment section is overwhelming rightwingers. After all serious conspiracy theories are one of the few issues left that clearly divides the left from the right easily.
@@thedissidentleftist6997 yeah, I think of the Green Party and "crunchy" people who are super into holistic medicine and try to replace vaccines and things like that with "natural alternatives" which are just some weird pills from China with unknown side effects and not FDA approved in any way shape or form. But the Green Party really disillusioned me over the past few federal elections as being essentially very direct patsies for the right imo. I know not everyone will agree, but they seem to represent an overlapping group with Russell Brand where it's just a pipeline from conspiracy to the alt right. Look at Roseanne, a literal Green Party presidential candidate who went on to be reactionary later on.
@@thedissidentleftist6997right? It's so fucking strange, seeing that Russell Brand has so many right-wingers as fans. And that his own views & beliefs have become overwhelmingly fascistic.
RFK sounds like a demented version of the manager from the first incredibles movie
My favourite part of the video was when Kermit the Frog had a discussion with the talking cigarette.
"The weather is wacky" sounds like something Vaush would say in one of his incongruously light-hearted summaries of a serious issue because that's his style, not like something you'd see on a presidential campaign website.
I always pictured him as more of a distraction/ball and chain for Williamson. She'll never be able to get anything remotely close to a shot against Biden. I'm sure he has a book/thing ready for release at the end of all this press.
My stomach hurt already and when vaush said his voice is disqualified i was weak af lmfaooo 😢😂😂😂😂
JFK is my favorite President, so i was really excited for an opportunity to vote for a Kennedy in my life time. then i saw him talking about vaccines and my heart sank lol
This dude may be Bobby Kennedy's son, but John Kennedy (R-LA) is less crazy and more presentable than RFK II: Antivax Boogaloo
Please don't want to vote for anyone because of their name/leniage/family and whatnot
@@DiegoVasconscelos clearly I'm not considering I took the time to look into him?
@@Lo0serx3 yeah. But just the idea of being excited about voting for someone (not this guy necessarily) just because they have a name of someone you're a fan of is deeply disturbing. Like, monarchy vibes. But sorry, just my opinion hahah
So you prefer a guy who disagrees with you about vaccines and is willing to have open discussion with people who disagree with him about vaccines like Dr Hotez? Biden is actively refusing to participate in Democratic primary debates, is a union-crushing corporatist, slave of Wall Street. The worst of the worst. Support Bobby to beat Biden. He's polling at 20% in the primary and is beating Biden/Trump in approval ratings. Bobby was a rockstar environmental lawyer who sued Monsanto and factory farms.
I remember listening to him on Thom Hartmann...and that is the last time I listened to both of them.
Me watching RFK resonating more with republicans who wanna larp as centrists than susceptible Democrats: let him cook
The Auschwitz memorial is really not going to like what RFK Jr said next about covid.
the dramatic music is like total war battle music it's so funny lmao
The two dead Kennedy bros must be rolling in their graves.
I love how unhinged news about RFK just dropped before this video got thru editing
If you just saw RFK Jrs website you’d think he was a decent candidate, then you go listen to him talk and he says nothing about what is on his website, it’s all complete and utter garbage lol. If he was actually the guy running with the morals on his website and none of the other trash, he’d be a good candidate
his voice is due to a neurological condition called dysphonia that causes involentary spasms in the vocal cords.
I used to listen to Lex all the time. He was a good way to get me out of my lefty echo chamber without giving me brain worms. Alas, those days are gone.
I still think Lex is great
@@Cookiekekshe’s pretty disingenuous and politically biased
@@TheHolyVindicate How so? I mean he has literally everyone on the show, from right wingers to communists. I don't think you can say he's biased
@TheHolyVindicate how is he biased?
@@Cookiekeks uh, he has WAY more right wingers on his show, barely any leftists (you could argue none) and when the right wingers are on, their fanbase LOVE the interview. so please tell me how ben shabibop, a person with abhorrent politics, on the show and barely pushing back while almost never having anything counter to it is unbiased. If shitty people's fanbases like the interview, that tells you all you need to know.
i mean, no one argue Joe Rogan is unbiased, far from it, yet he had Bernie on and was cool with him. No one turns around and says Joe is centrist, give all other evidence - but lex does this too (or rather, isn't even THAT both sides and is just smoother about it all) and he is unbiased?
He is center right, his choice of guests and treatment of them shows this. Only garbage brained, civility politics babies time people think his calm and nice treatment of anyone on is good.
Also, based on what he has said, and based on where his parents and he left to come to American, he has an anti-left view - mostly because he doesn't know what true leftism is (hint, its not any form of "socialism" people have ever seen tried on this planet, where they never seem to get to the point where the people are in control and own their own labor - funny that).
EDIT - also, you could say he is just not researched enough to push back more - but then, who's fault is that? And why does that keep happening?

How could banning abortion possibly be anything other than forcing women to carry unwanted pregnancies?
It also avoids killing babies
@chrisrevel2801 even if you believe that, you still have to force women to carry unwanted pregnancies. That's the direct effect of that legislation. It also prevents doctors from treating conditions like ectopic pregnancy which is very lethal, and prevents doctors from aborting unviable pregnancies which can also kill women.
@@goudanuff6451 I don't want to force anyone to do anything , lethal pregnancies are a small % of abortions . I just don't like when people are pretending that abortion isn't killing babies
@chrisrevel2801 I would argue that it's not a distinct organism until it can survive without being physically attached to its mother.
Not to mention, that even if lethal pregnancy is the small number of abortions you claim, by banning it you're still condemning a small number of women who are definitely alive and distinct organism with their own desires to literally die because you don't know the difference between a fetus and a baby.
@@goudanuff6451 That is a silly way to avoid facing the truth and with your argument you could justify a 9 months abortion . I don't know how your position allows you to feel good about the whole thing . The lethal pregnancy thing is ridiculous and shouldn't help you accepting the fact that you are ok for killing babies in non lethal cases ( most of the time )
