Scottos build videos are always the best, a lot of detail and really doing shit by yourself, makes it more relateable than buying a shitload of bolt on parts and a crate motor. bracket brian ftw
so stoked you guys did an oem removeable rad support ( i did the same to all my cars cause i dont have height in my garage) and not a pipe which is the lazy way out and really, adding a couple of tabs is way easier and faster than a piece of pipe which needs those brackets anyways. OEM has everything where it needs to go for the grill, hood latch, etc. thanks for doing it the good way on this one.
Welcome back! I’d just front motor plate that thing haha. Mounts looks sick though, definitely needs something that won’t have that much play once you get location sorted. 👏🏼
I'm nerding the hell out over that machine and software. As someone who's gone through two Xbox controllers...better hope that controller doesn't develop a drift 👀 Edit: idea for the mount: fab a square plate with a hole big enough to fit the bushing bolt. Put it between the bushing and your adjustable slider mount. Once you know where it's gonna go, just weld the plate to the slider mount so it stays in place. Saves you build time. Thoughts?
Dude, everytime I hear that handy dandy phrase, I always say in my head 'handy dandy notebook.' I miss watching sport lmao. Good luck to ya Scotto. Sick idea for a motor.
I need to run into Scotto and find out how he finds Vans to fit his Sasquatch feet. I'm a few inches shorter and can only find the classic stuff in my size. This is important stuff!
i dislike ebay charges you the tire recycle fee even if you ship them home/elsewhere vs choosing an install option, didnt know it covered the recycle fee at a shop but for me I dont need that option. still great pricing on there use it often.
If your hood gaps are funky it's because your engine stand is on the very outside of the car n your jack stands are closer to the center I would've braced the core support before cutting it all good nice car
Hey Scotto 1inch=25.4mm 87.5mm=3.44inches I don’t think your math is mathing maybe the ruler sticker is in centimeters which is 2.54cm=1in 87.5cm=34.4in or just shy of 3ft
The engine isn't supposed to be "on center." This is a minor mistake automakers and amateur custom car builders have been making for ages. Move it slightly off center so it doesn't rotate the entire front of the car during RPM changes as drastically as it would on center.
@@HooniganProjectGarage Haha I know that feeling. I'm a big fan of jamming stuff together quickly, getting it going, and then changing as needed in the future. Keep pushing, get it running!
@@HooniganProjectGarage horses for courses really. In many ways they’re both simple if you understand them. Imperial has me constantly dividing 25.4mm to turn it into my fluent language 😄 We’re fucking useless in the uk though. We do distance in miles, but most of us under the age of 40 don’t understand yards. We do height in feet and inches and personal weight in stones and pounds. But buy litres of fuel and then convert our fuel economy back into British mpg. We buy pints of beer and milk, but litres of everything else in the supermarket. We buy paint and aerosols in ml and litres. We buy gas cylinders in kg’s and litres and measure flow in litres per minute. We measure curb weights of cars and (engineering) swl’s in kg. We fabricate in mm, buy furniture in cm and timber in imperial dimensions converted to metric equivalents. But we still use inches for penis measurements (albeit a reduced penis-inch scale). We used to buy weed in ounces and its fractions, but inflation by road men has pushed small purchases into grams. Same with tobacco, which nobody can afford to smoke anymore. Oh and we like to measure horsepower at the flywheel as brake horsepower, as it sounds bigger. Same tends to be the trend with torque in newton meters. (I refuse to use this Si measurement outside of work - applying a weight to a length of a lever is more useful as it actually means something when tightening fastenings). We’re fucked.
The differences from Ron, Zach and Brian’s build videos are hilarious. Ron: here’s 725hp! Brian: I made a bracket! That’s all.
Zachs: done 😂
My thoughts exactly ... Scott is probably not gonna make it by the deadline
@@epbmx4 agreed
Lol for real. "Can't finish my car cuz I need this $100k machine to make a bracket."
@@epbmx4i've heard a lot of names for brian of the years but scott is a first. It's brian scotto. How do you make it just scott? Weird.
87,5cm :) Yeah, metric and all other related to it makes so much more sence. Great work Brian and Angelo.
When i heard him say it, i could hear my teacher yelling in my head
i didnt know bracket brian was a thing, but now i want more of it.
So does Brian. He’d make entire episodes on one bracket if we let him.
@@HooniganProjectGarage - And we would enjoy the whole episode.

My brain was like "bracket time" before I could even finish reading the title
Dude ITBs on that is going to sound insane. Keep rocking Scotto Can’t wait for the end result🤘
The cars done already these videos are super late
@@shacklifecustoms8430yes
And make 126 Hp to the wheels. Needs turbo.
Glad to see bracket Brian back in action
I saw Hert! Wish he was in yalls vids again man I love that guy.

By far, the coolest build on youtube! Love your attention to detail; the boys are just jealous they all have basic af builds.
Is it just me or is every 3rd UA-cam channel now using a FastCut plasma table? 😂😁😜
I don't use metric measurements much but those strut towers are a little wider than 87.5mm. A inch is 25.4mm.
Lol I was going to same that. 87 mm in more like 4 inches not 4 feet.
He meant either 87.5cm or 875mm
I think he meant centimeters

the digitizer is so dope. thank you for making this content
Nice bracket, cannot wait for drivers side bracket to be made after 3 months.
Bracket Brian is at it again
@hertlife !!!!!! Man I miss that boy in these videos.
The North American chapter of the Bad Obsession Motorsport Bracket Building Brotherhood!
Holy shit scotto you need to get this thing done.
Can yall do a episode just on the solidworks table and stuff 4:37. :)
Love it, ITBs are going to sound nuts. Needs a dope 6-1 header to go with it 😈
Iconic words from Brian Scotto: "Stop with your like taking." 😂
Thank you for making sense Metric Bracket Brian!! 🥰
He's most proud of the core support😂.
Got to love that Ikea tape measure 😂 anyway can't wait for all the driving
HERT 👀
The adventure of Bracket Bryan back at it again

I did not expect to see Kenny Haller in todays Hoonigan video😂
The return of Bracket Brian!
Damn where is bracket Kyle when you need him. Scotto y'all can be van buddies now!!!

I wild Hert appeared! Yay
13:02 “Tach it up” I bet The Beach Boys love car fabricators saying their phrase. . .
Been waiting patiently to see more of this build
87.5mm Brian? You have a 3.5 inch engine bay??? (i think you meant 875mm or 87.5cm lol, best to stick with mm lol)
I love the Ikea tape measure! Metric>Standard, always.
Full episode on one engine mount. Cmon Brian.
Did you expect less.
yo are we gonna see this finished in our lifetimes? I thought scotto's kids were gonna inherit this project
Hoonigan gotta catch em ….alllll !
itb's are gonna be sick on the vr6
The Hoonigan Editors are top tier!
editors always on point and dam brian if i finish my VW before you finish this that saying some man im no mechanic looool
Neither is Scotto… 😂
Bracket Brian about to evolve
When will gymkhana grid be and will it be in multiple locations?
That beat at 10:30🔥🔥🔥
The whole episode for engine mounts and in the end angelo fabricated them?
Awesome, slam the brakes on and the engine keeps traveling forward takes out removable core support
Scotto definitely has the most exciting build in this competition! 🤘
Too bad he's not going to make it in time
Don’t you think your time would be better spent making brackets for a seat to fit you in the Makur?

Homie has the submarine controler😭😂😂
Im over here cracking my knuckles with all this hate getting thrown at my boy Brian!
Very cool and all but; Does it run Doom?
Yay metric!!! Converting units is SOOOOOOOO much easier than in imperial.
Thank you for this , more of this stuff please
I thought that Black EG was for Nads? Why is it always in the background?
Bryan was already a legend. Then we find out he is metric! Skills.
Welcome to another episode of Brian makes a bracket. Pretty bad when I get excited for the ads for eBay motors.
i actually think this project is gonna be done in time, but its a scotto project so the doubt is still there 😆
HEEEEEEEERRRRRTTTTT!!!
Let's go!!!!! Finally it's back and more VR6 content
Grid life in a couple weeks let’s go
Wait, what happened to the JD² plasma table? Haven't used that brand (JD²) of table, but have heard very good things about it, why the upgrade?
Wow one bracket made. PROGRESS

When are we going to build a car together? Cars & Bids-igan? 07:45
