    DISCLAIMER: I am not paid to promote any specific products or brands; I just use the products I find work best for me through my experiences. There is no reason for me to promote a bad product, as then I would not enjoy using it, not like the result on my model, and not be proud of publicizing it in a video. There's also no point in me doing this to keep up relations with a company if the only benefit would be getting more of the same products that I didn't like. I have not used every product out there, but from what I have used, I keep using the products I like, and that's why I use them in my videos. You can use whatever other products you would like to and you can feel that they are better - that is your opinion, and is perfectly fine by me, thus I hope that feeling is reciprocated.

    My only photo etch tool is a set of Tamiya P/E pliers. They were about $20. Certainly nowhere near the cost of some of the P/E jigs, clamps, or plates that you see. Along with a set of good tweezers, they do everything that my skill level is capable of doing. I like those printed details you used, as well.

      Thank you Stephen! I'm looking at getting some better tweezers and small tools soon.

    Rochm a welcome addition to arsenal.The perspex from two small photo frames and some clamp's/tape good for bending PE,can see bend line too.Just finished RFM T34\85,got it for their detail set with rear deck grill's and side grill's,not as hard as wilder made it look and makes a ton of difference.Love the focus on A\M and detail sets,scale should be aim but building Rochm Panther locking chain out of 56 parts you only do once.Thanks for vid.

    I made this model a few months ago. I painted the inner turret details before assembling it, seemed pretty complicated otherwise. So I shall say that I am pretty curious to see the next steps.

    Looks really good already, even without paint. Thanks for the tips, and taking the effort to put it on video. In my experience working with photo etch can be a little nerf wracking but when it's there the satisfaction will be great!

    I tend to model British & Canadian hardware (and the odd Panzer they faced in Normandy, am a research hound) and I am sooo looking forward to your painting/weathering video and the joys of SCC15 the most annoying colour invented, with 1,001 modelling variations depending on which product/mix you use :D
    It’s a great Tamiya kit, my only annoyance was the lack of detail for the driver’s compartment. Bit odd when you have that open turret so can see straight in. Academy did the full seats, gearbox etc but why Tamiya ignored it I don’t know. Fixed mine with aftermarket in the end.

    • @Panzermeister36
      @Panzermeister36  2 роки тому +4

      Thank you! I am finishing it as a Canadian vehicle in Italy 1945 (1st corps 7ATR). I do wish there was some driver's equipment, but it's not super visible unless you turn the turret and I get burned out on interiors very fast. It's not perfect but good enough for me :)

      @@Panzermeister36 On Saturday. As per info available to me, this IS the last day of the show. Sunday seems to be just general departure day, no showing/no vending at the venue. I might sneak in late on Friday already, but this all depends on how our own program goes. Remaining time for me on Friday might not be worth the entrance fee. But Saturday is fixed in my itinerary, and the hotel in Omaha is confirmed.
      Everything else will be decided this Tuesday, in the chaos of what used to be the never pretty but for the most part functional airport of Frankfurt/Germany.

    I find it extremely odd that you think that paint on tanks doesn't chip off much just from a few very low resolution black and white photos that you have seen from ww2. Small arms fire definitely chips paint regardless of it being baked on or sprayed on. Troops were told to aim for periscopes and such so tanks definitely got shot at by small arms fire.

    • @raseli4066
